Chapter 28: Mystery Shop, Unexpected Joy!

"L-Lord, I'll sleep first."

Sylph was a bit nervous, hurriedly diving into the covers, even misnaming Su Yu.

Compared to Sylph,

Su Yu was even more nervous at this moment.

In the quiet 【Hero's Hall】, he could even hear his own heart pounding.

"Haa..."

Su Yu took two deep breaths and quietly got into bed.

Gazing at Sylph right before him,

Unable for a Long Time to fall asleep.

Moonlight filtered through the window, scattering onto the golden hair before Su Yu's eyes,

Raising a hazy halo.

Su Yu's eyes were somewhat hazy; he found it even harder to fall asleep.

Until steady breathing sounds came from before him.

He tentatively placed his hand on her willow waist,

Only then falling asleep with a sense of full satisfaction.

The third day.

【Because you were not honest while sleeping, Sylph's Loyalty +5, Current Loyalty: 86.】

Su Yu opened his hazy eyes,

Glanced at Sylph changing clothes beside him, and hurriedly closed his eyes.

This... what situation?

What does "not honest while sleeping" mean?

Could it be that his actions last night were discovered?

But... why did loyalty still increase?

Su Yu was very nervous; his heart felt as if it had lodged in his throat.

"Lord Su Yu, it is time to rise."

Sylph called Su Yu to rise as usual.

However, she did not know that every morning Su Yu was woken by the territory notification sound because of her waking up.

"Good morning, Sylph."

Su Yu stretched, sat up, and pretended nothing had happened.

Sylph smiled sweetly.

【You have successfully sold the Cloud Water Dragon's Eye, obtaining Territory Energy ×100,000.】

With 100,000 Territory Energy in hand, Su Yu immediately spent 50,000,

Upgrading the Lord Crystal to Level 3!

【Congratulations, your Lord Crystal has successfully upgraded to Level 3.】

【You have unlocked new building blueprints: Kitchen, Patterned Flooring, Playhouse, Mystery Shop.】

【Your territory limit has increased to 500 tiles.】

【Your building limit has increased to 500 structures.】

【Your defensive building level limit has increased to Level 30.】

【Your troop and hero level limit has increased to Level 30.】

【You can obtain 2,000 points of Territory Energy daily.】

Level 3 territory,

Su Yu waved his hand, used Territory Energy to construct 9 farmhouses, increasing the population by 18.

Adding the farmhouse built previously, the population limit reached 30.

Building farmhouses requires beds, and cotton cannot be obtained in this vicinity at all,

so farmers cannot use materials to build farmhouses recognized by the Lord Crystal.

Spending Territory Energy is the most convenient method.

"Continuous recruitment!"

Inside the farmhouses, beams of Bai Guang surged up.

Men of steel and cast iron walked out from inside one by one.

Women of regular appearance walked out from inside one by one.

"We pay our respects to the Lord!"

"Rise."

This time Su Yu recruited 19 farmers, 10 men and 9 women.

Adding the previous 10 farmers,

And the hero Sylph, the population instantly reached the limit of 30.

As for himself, he is not counted in the territory population.

"Zhang San!"

Su Yu called out.

A burly man who was carrying stone blocks immediately ran over.

"My lord, Zhang San has arrived; please give your orders!"

"Lead them, and today do only one thing: build arrow towers. Construct one hundred of them first!"

"Yes!"

Zhang San accepted the order and, leading the newly recruited farmers, began work.

Since building arrow towers was the primary task issued by Su Yu,

even the female farmers joined in.

Do not be fooled by their graceful figures; in fact, they were very strong.

As for transport work, they could easily manage it.

Watching the farmers work diligently, Su Yu nodded in satisfaction.

Suddenly, he glanced at Sylph beside him,

and seeing that Sylph showed no unusual signs, his heart was greatly reassured.

He feared that his role as lord... being too exploitative, might leave a bad impression on Sylph.

"In the early days of the territory, building the territory is the farmers' responsibility."

"Later, we will let them enjoy life in the territory."

Sylph seemed to see what Su Yu was thinking and smiled:

"My responsibility is to protect you and the safety of the territory."

It seemed that

the sudden surge of loyalty this morning had given her new drive.

"My lord Su Yu, I am going out to hunt."

"Be careful on your journey."

Her graceful figure leaped swiftly through the mountains, and in an instant vanished into the forest at the foot of the mountain.

Watching Sylph depart,

Su Yu began to ponder how to spend the remaining territory energy.

As for continuing to upgrade the Lord Crystal, that was something he did not dare even consider.

Upgrading a Level 3 Lord Crystal to Level 4 would cause a qualitative transformation,
