Chapter 6: Selling a Random Card, Are You Mad?

Bai Xiaowei stared at the group chat messages, biting her jade lips, her eyes brimming with tears.

Before graduation, she had clung to Su Yu for several months,

begging him that once he entered the Myriad Worlds battlefield,

he must take her along and give her a hand if he got the chance.

Su Yu had agreed.

But who could have expected... Su Yu's start would be so terrible, a barren mountain with nothing but stones.

"Bai Xiaowei, you've gone too far with those words."

"Great God Su Yu isn't even planning to recruit troops; our Class 2 needs someone to rely on."

"Tian Feng started with high-tier troops; even if his ability is lacking, his head start is far better than ours."

"Yes, yes..."

The crowd chimed in agreement. Bai Xiaowei felt deeply aggrieved but didn't know how to refute them.

Before graduation, they had all shamelessly fawned over Su Yu to get close,

but the moment they learned Su Yu started on a barren mountain, they immediately shifted their targets.

Truly...

She, Bai Xiaowei, could not do such a thing.

She believed that even with a barren mountain start, Great God Su Yu was still a Great God.

Thinking this, she hurriedly sent Su Yu a message: "Great God Su Yu, are you really just rotting away?"

Su Yu: "Of course not."

Receiving Su Yu's message, the corners of her mouth lifted slightly.

As expected, Great God Su Yu would never give up!

Not planning to recruit troops might equal rotting away, or giving up, in many people's eyes.

But Su Yu could never give up.

He possessed a Mythic-tier talent; give up becoming a Lord?

How could that be possible.

Glancing casually at the group messages and finding no useful intelligence, Su Yu closed them.

He looked at his empty territory,

and without hesitation consumed 200 points of Territory Energy to construct a 【Trading House】.

He could not use troops, and the farmers had no combat power.

To explore the mist, relying solely on him to throw his life away was unrealistic; he simply couldn't go far.

He absolutely needed a Hero unit!

He had to recruit a Hero as quickly as possible.

However, constructing just a 【Hero Hall】 required 1,000 points of Territory Energy.

He also planned to build many arrow defense towers, so Territory Energy was extremely scarce.

He couldn't even bear to spend the 10 points of Territory Energy needed to recruit a farmer.

Recruiting farmers nearby would only let them dig stones, which served no purpose for his current situation.

Walking to the Trading House window,

Su Yu placed the 1 Random Troop Building Card he had obtained from the New Lord Gift Pack on the counter.

Price: 10,000 points of Territory Energy.

Very expensive, but not too expensive.

He knew that for those major powers, their start would involve eighteen-year-olds voluntarily giving up becoming Lords.

In exchange, they would obtain their resources—the 1,000 points of Territory Energy and 1 Random Troop Building Card inside the New Lord Gift Pack.

Therefore, those figures would start with a lot of Territory Energy and many Random Troop Building Cards.

A Random Troop Building Card priced at 10,000 points would surely find a buyer.

"Holy crap, who has gone mad?"

"Selling a Random Troop Building Card?"

"This is the only chance at the start to reverse fate and change destiny..."

"Without this, one can only build ordinary troop buildings from the Lord Crystal... and that also costs extra Territory Energy."

"This ID... looks so familiar."

"This, isn't this Su Yu's ID?!"

Many in the class group chat cried out in shock.

In the early start, some lacked water, some lacked food, some lacked wood,

so basically everyone constructed a 【Trading House】.

They hurriedly opened the group chat messages to check Su Yu's ID.

Sure enough, it matched the seller ID displayed on the 【Trading House】 exactly!

Su Yu had not hidden his personal ID, so they could all see it.

"Awesome, selling a Random Troop Building Card; he's really just rotting away."

"He is Su Yu; even with a barren mountain start, if he struggled a bit... perhaps there would still be hope."

"Sigh, pity he gave up."

Bai Xiaowei looked at the group messages, wanting to cry but having no tears.

Why would Great God Su Yu sell something so precious?

What exactly does he intend to do?

【You have successfully sold 1 Random Troop Building Card, gaining 10,000 Territory Energy.】

Not long after, Su Yu sold the item.

Seeing the Territory Energy in hand, he immediately constructed a 【Hero Hall】.

A small house for the hall, covering 10 square meters, rose from the ground.

Just as Su Yu was about to recruit a hero, suddenly, he paused.

"Saint Ti's Blessing..."

"When the number of territory buildings reaches 10, enhance the special ability of each building by 10 times..."

"If it is an Arrow Defense Tower, then undoubtedly, it can enhance the attack range by 10 times!"

"Then, can the recruitment effect of the Hero Hall be enhanced?"

Thinking of this, Su Yu's eyes lit up.

He immediately consumed 800 points of Territory Energy and constructed 7 Arrow Defense Towers at the four corners of the territory.

The Lord Crystal does not count as a building.

Adding the previous Arrow Defense Towers, plus the 【Trading House】 and the 【Hero Hall】.

The number of territory buildings instantly reached 10!

Around every building, a white halo appeared.

The halo rotated on the ground, carrying a somewhat sacred aura.

Looking at the 【Hero Hall】 before him, Su Yu suppressed his excitement and shouted:
