Chapter 89: Formal Lord, Gathering

A formal lord differs greatly from a new lord.

To facilitate new lords, the Wan Jie Battlefield provided great conveniences through seven days of construction to resist monster tides.

Formal lords, however, do not have these conveniences.

First, territory energy can no longer be used to instantly construct buildings.

To construct buildings, one must have farmers build them using materials corresponding to the blueprints.

Territory energy is instead used to upgrade buildings and maintain the territory's operational needs.

Of course, it can still be used as currency to purchase items at the 【Trading House】 or the 【Mysterious Shop】.

Upgrading territory buildings, besides using materials for farmers to upgrade or using territory energy for instant upgrades,

now includes a third method:

multiple lower-level buildings can be synthesized into a single higher-level building.

For example, five arrow defense towers can be synthesized into one advanced giant crossbow tower.

Five C-rank mess halls can be synthesized into one B-rank restaurant,

and so on.

Formal lords can travel in and out of a place named 'Wan Jie Cheng' via terminal teleportation.

There, they can encounter other lords.

Secondly, the requirements for recruitment have changed.
