"I will always remember what you did to my family back then; I will never forget it. This counts as my punishment for you. Chen Tianming, not destroying your Original Spirit is already my greatest mercy. Yinxian, take him away."

"As you command." Clatter—a chain shook and tightly bound the God Lord, and then, amidst his unwilling roars, he was forcibly dragged into the Underworld. With a flash of black mist, his voice vanished completely.

The sky had already brightened.

Ye Xinyu and Chen Yu sat on a Lone Peak of the Snow Mountain, gazing at the red clouds that had lingered in the horizon for a long time.

This was the place where Chen Yu had fought the Immortals yesterday. For an entire night, the killing intent permeating this place had not yet completely dissipated.

Yet, under the reflection of the morning glow, these clouds appeared extremely magnificent.

"How can you lie to a child? I'm not pregnant." Ye Xinyu blushed.

"Ah, why didn't you discuss it with me?" Ye Xinyu was startled. "I haven't prepared myself yet."

"No need to prepare. When the children are all grown up, let's find a place with mountains and water and live in seclusion, how about that?" Chen Yu said with a smile.

"Why live in seclusion?" Ye Xinyu asked.

"Because I know you aren't used to life here, and neither am I. Once the responsibilities are fulfilled, we will find a place with mountains and water to retire."

"When we are free, we will travel the world, looking at mountains and seas," Chen Yu said with a smile. "Watching the flowers bloom and fall before the courtyard, and watching the clouds roll and unfurl in the sky—is that good?"

"Good. From now on, we will be together forever, growing old together." Ye Xinyu looked at Chen Yu, a smile gradually spreading across her face.

Two hands were tightly clasped together. The past and the present were separated by vast years, yet it felt like the blink of an eye. Having walked this path together, they had seen all the beautiful scenery in the mortal world, and for the rest of their lives, they would grow old together.
