Chapter 242: Master Jiuyin
"Old sir, may I ask who you are?" He Wei felt the Yin Qi radiating from the old man, and knowing this was no ordinary person, he hurriedly stepped forward to ask respectfully.
"I am Jiuyin." The old man's voice was sharp and grating, making it extremely uncomfortable to listen to.
"Master Jiuyin, please, help my younger brother." He Wei bowed deeply.
"Easy enough." Jiuyin stepped forward, his eyes squinted into slits. He took out a pitch-black bottle, flicked his right hand, and some gray powder sprinkled onto He Hu's body.
This was Corpse Powder, refined from a Dried Corpse; this stuff could practically cost A Fu his life.
He Hu began to scream hoarsely, or rather, it was A Fu; he sat up from He Hu's body, struggling desperately to break free, but these powders were like a layer of invisible Restriction, trapping him firmly, and no matter how he struggled, it was useless.
"Master, my brother, he..." Watching his brother roar hysterically, He Wei could not help but feel worried.
"Rest assured, the one screaming is not your brother." Jiuyin sneered and took out a bottle of liquid: "Apply this to your eyes and you will know."
He Wei hesitated for a moment, then took the bottle and applied the contents to his eyes. The moment he applied it, he could not help but be startled.
He saw a translucent shadow bound to He Hu's body; this shadow was none other than A Fu, and he was struggling desperately.
"Master, is this... a ghost?" He Wei retreated two steps in shock.
"What else? Young man, the person you offended is quite formidable." Jiuyin sneered: "But since I have encountered this brat, it is his bad luck. I will take his Mysterious Spirit first."
Jiuyin beckoned with his right hand, intending to destroy A Fu.
Just at this moment, a burst of fire suddenly erupted from He Wei's chest.
"Not good, dodge!" Jiuyin turned and dodged.
A streak of fire shot into the sky, spreading for ten zhang, and the Corpse Powder he had sprinkled on He Hu was completely burned away. A Fu finally broke free from the Restriction, turned around, and vanished without a trace.
He Hu, however, was scorched pitch-black all over; his body twitched slightly, and nine-tenths of his life was already gone.
"Good brat, he actually used a Fire Talisman. I underestimated him," Jiuyin said through gritted teeth.
"Quick, call a Yisheng!" He Wei rushed forward, looking at the dying He Hu.
"Brother... kill me, I beg you, give me a quick end," He Hu said weakly, grabbing He Wei's hand.
He truly wanted to die now; he had never wanted to die so intensely before. Chen Yu had made him taste what it meant to be worse off than dead.
"What silly things are you saying? Rest assured, brother will avenge this for you. I will definitely tear Chen Yu into ten thousand pieces."
"Many thanks, Master." He Wei bowed slightly to Jiuyin: "Since you saved my brother, I will reward you handsomely."
"No need for thanks. I only want you to help me find someone; he killed my disciple." Jiuyin said sinisterly: "So I must execute him."
"I wonder who it is that you wish to find, Master?" He Wei asked in confusion.
"Chen Yu," Jiuyin said proudly.
"Chen Yu? Could your disciple be Fengyang Jushi?" He Wei was startled.
Du Feng had told him about Fengyang Jushi. Originally, he intended to use Feng Yang to deal with Chen Yu, but he had not expected Feng Yang's strength to be so far behind Chen Yu's. Therefore, after Feng Yang sent a distress signal to his sect, Du Feng killed him and framed Chen Yu.
He had not expected his master to be Jiuyin, and now he had come knocking.
"That's right, my only disciple. His Soul Consciousness has been extinguished. He died at the hands of Chen Yu, so I must kill Chen Yu," Jiuyin said through gritted teeth.
"Master, it seems we have a common goal. Please, this way, let us discuss this properly." He Wei was overjoyed. Originally, he had wanted to use international forces to kill Chen Yu, but since this seemingly powerful expert had arrived, he would not need to go to that trouble.
"There is nothing to discuss. You have people you want to resolve; I will resolve them all together," Jiuyin said indifferently.
"Very well, then let's resolve them all together," He Wei laughed.
A Fu flew back, stumbling, with green smoke rising from his body in waves. He screamed: "Chen Yu, I ran into an expert! Help me!"
"What are you panicking about?" Seeing A Fu's body in a translucent state, appearing faint and flickering as if it could dissipate at any moment, Chen Yu calmly took out a Paper Talisman. With a sharp shout, the Paper Talisman turned into a stream of light and vanished into his body.
A Fu's body immediately stabilized, and the green smoke on his body slowly disappeared. Five minutes later, his body returned to normal.
"That old thing is very powerful, Chen Yu. He sprinkled Corpse Powder on me; I would have died if I touched that stuff. Luckily, I escaped fast," A Fu said, looking relieved.
"You escaped fast?" Chen Yu glanced at him and said: "If I hadn't saved you, you would have already dissipated."
"You, you already anticipated there would be an expert on his side?" A Fu was stunned.
"That's right, I anticipated it. That's why when you possessed He Hu, I placed a Talisman on him. Now, even if He Hu isn't dead, he's likely lost half his life," Chen Yu said.
"You knew there was an expert there and still let me go?" A Fu was furious: "You were setting me up!"
"It's fine, I was confident that you wouldn't be affected," Chen Yu said with a faint smile.
"No way, you were definitely setting me up. I want double the offerings," A Fu raged.
"No problem, go get some rest," Chen Yu laughed.
"I have to tell you some unfortunate news," A Fu said: "He Hu didn't die. I was a bit too greedy and didn't get to finish him off before that old man arrived."
"He won't live," Chen Yu said with a faint smile.
He stretched out his right hand, and a half-foot-long Straw Man appeared in his palm. He then took out a glass bottle containing some dark blood.
This blood had been taken from He Hu when he was beating him up. Chen Yu poured the blood onto the Straw Man, then sank his True Qi, joined three fingers of his right hand, and made a sweeping motion in the void toward the Straw Man.
Three light trails lit up on the Straw Man, forming three bloodstains. Chen Yu threw the Straw Man onto the ground and used his right hand to guide the Straw Man to walk forward in the void.
The Seven Kill Fierce Aspect Method; with the Straw Man wrapped in a Talisman and added with He Hu's blood, Chen Yu controlling the Straw Man was equivalent to controlling He Hu.
This type of technique was unorthodox; if used recklessly, it would inevitably damage one's karmic merit. However, He Hu was a pervert with cruel methods who had harmed countless people, so Chen Yu was willing to risk losing some karmic merit to finish him off.
In the hospital, He Hu, who was wrapped in bandages from head to toe, suddenly sat up with a stiff body.
The Yisheng and nurses on the side were startled, and one of the young nurses even screamed.
He Hu actually only had one breath left, and whether his life could be saved was still up in the air, but his sudden stiff sitting up felt just like a corpse coming back to life.
