Chapter 49: Incidents

"Mr. Chen has given instructions: you have three days to have your nephew apologize in public for what he has done, otherwise, his other hand and leg will be taken," Zou Dalong sneered. "As for our own grievances, they shall be settled tomorrow as well."

"General Manager Du... two of our venues have been raided, and Jiye Entertainment has been sealed off," another subordinate reported in a rush.

"You did this?" Du Feng glared at Zou Dalong. Jiye Entertainment contained an underground casino and was one of his vital venues; if it were sealed, he would suffer heavy losses.

"You've pushed me to this point; did you really expect me to give you a pleasant look?" Zou Dalong laughed.

"Fine, Zou Dalong, just you wait, we'll see," Du Feng laughed in extreme anger, turning to leave with his group of subordinates.

Erlong Mountain, inside a temple.

An old man dressed in a green robe knelt before a Buddha, eyes closed, chanting sutras.

Huang Yiqiang stood behind the old man, his expression somewhat uneasy.

The old man was none other than Fourth Master, Huang Yiqiang's grandfather; his reputation, even today, was thunderous.

"I have washed my hands of the world for many years; reappearing to handle affairs of the jianghu goes against my principles," Fourth Master finally opened his eyes.

"Grandfather, I have never asked you for anything, but this time, you must intervene."

"Do you know that behind Du Feng stands the Qinglong Society and the Zhao Clan?" Fourth Master glanced at Huang Yiqiang. "I taught you to weigh the pros and cons in all things. Is helping that friend of yours truly beneficial to you?"

"Absolutely beneficial, because he is no ordinary person," Huang Yiqiang said in a deep voice.

Fourth Master remained silent. A moment later, he waved his hand and said, "Go back; let me consider it."

Huang Yiqiang nodded helplessly and retreated, then dialed Chen Yu's phone: "Brother, regardless of whether my grandfather handles this or not, I will definitely go to support you."

"Thanks," Chen Yu smiled slightly.

The next day at noon, the Dog Fighting Arena.

Du Feng and Zou Dalong each brought a group of men, glaring at each other; the atmosphere in the arena was somewhat tense.

Du Feng had twice plotted against Zou Dalong, but with Chen Yu's help, Zou Dalong had saved his own life. Last night, he attacked several of Du Feng's important clubs and filed reports that led to one of Du Feng's key venues being sealed; once the venue was unsealed, it would naturally be taken over by Zou Dalong.

Both sides had suffered losses, so the air was thick with gunpowder, feeling as if a fight would break out at the slightest disagreement.

At noon, Chen Yu arrived on time.

"You are Chen Yu?" Du Feng stared at Chen Yu, his intent to kill stirred.

Both times he attacked Zou Dalong, it was Chen Yu who interfered, causing the operations to fail. Last night, this brat had even crippled his nephew; Zou Dalong now hated Chen Yu to the bone.

"That's right, it's me," Chen Yu found the center seat and sat down.

"I have no grudges or enmity with you, sir. Why do you always make things difficult for me? Do you really think I, Du Feng, am just a street thug?" Du Feng sneered.

"Of course not. Your strength in Fengling is very formidable," Chen Yu smiled. "And you have the support of the Zhao Group behind you, with excellent relations with the Qinglong Society. One could say your strength is far greater than General Manager Zou's."

"Then, since you've repeatedly made things difficult for me and crippled my nephew, do you think that just because you can fight, you don't have to take me seriously?" Du Feng grinned hideously. "Do you believe that I could have you hacked into mincemeat today?"

As soon as Du Feng finished speaking, the group behind him took a step forward in unison.

Zou Dalong took a step forward, and the men behind him also stood up, staring at Du Feng; the atmosphere at the scene suddenly became tense.

"Zou Dalong, you've got some nerve," a cold laugh came, and a young man walked over with several subordinates.

This man was Zhao Zhong, whom Chen Yu had met once before—the one who was at odds with Xia Tian. The several subordinates he brought had sharp, piercing gazes; they were clearly experts.

"Young Master Zhao?" Zou Dalong's expression changed slightly. This matter had actually alarmed the Zhao Family. The biggest reason he was firmly suppressed by Du Feng was that Du Feng had the Zhao Family, one of the Four Great Families, as his background.

"Zou Dalong, you're quite arrogant. Those few venues from yesterday had shares from our Zhao Family. Are you tired of living? You dare to touch the Zhao Family's assets?" Zhao Zhong sneered.

"Young Master Zhao, I had no intention of offending the Zhao Group," Zou Dalong gritted his teeth.

"You dare to touch my Zhao Family without intending to offend? It seems you need a lesson," Zhao Zhong sneered and glanced at Chen Yu: "General Manager Du, is this the brat you were talking about?"

"That's right, it's him," Du Feng said hatefully.

"Surname Chen, you even dare to touch the dog raised by our Zhao Family. Do you not know your own worth?" Zhao Zhong said coldly. "In Fengling, no one has ever dared to go against our Zhao Family."

"Young Master Zhao, isn't that a bit too much to say? Fengling is not a place where you can cover the sky with one hand," a voice came. Lin Kaicheng walked in with a group of people and stood beside Chen Yu.

"It's you?" Zhao Zhong's face immediately turned ugly. "What does this have to do with your Lin Family?"

Lin Kaicheng was the second young master of the Lin Family; by seniority, he had to call him uncle. Moreover, he had distinguished himself at the border, and his personal appearance represented the Lin Family.

"Mr. Chen has done a great favor for our Lin Family; his affairs are the affairs of our Lin Family," Lin Kaicheng said indifferently. He walked to Chen Yu's side and said, "Mr. Chen, do not worry. No matter how big the matter is, my Lin Family will cover it."

"Much obliged," Chen Yu smiled.

"You're too kind. You saved my grandfather and helped me break the Zhanzi Sword Formation; this small matter is not worth mentioning," Lin Kaicheng laughed.

Zhao Zhong stopped talking. If the Lin Family stepped in, this matter would be difficult to resolve.

"Young Master Zhao, thank you for coming to help, but this matter is between me, Zou Dalong, and this brat. Jianghu grievances should be settled in the jianghu way," Du Feng, seeing Zhao Zhong in a difficult position, had no choice but to grit his teeth and step forward.

With one sentence, he distanced the two great families; jianghu matters are for the jianghu.

"Brat, you beat my nephew into a serious injury; you have to give me an explanation," Du Feng said coldly.

"Your nephew committed violence against female college students and used violent threats against them and their mother. Have you given them an explanation for this?" Chen Yu glanced at Du Feng. "The evil your nephew has done goes far beyond this. Have you given an explanation to those who have been harmed?"

"Those people are just lowly commoners. So what if they were beaten to death? How can their lives compare to my nephew's?" Du Feng was furious.

"What a coincidence, in my eyes, your nephew's life is also a lowly life," Chen Yu smiled.

Du Feng stared coldly at Chen Yu, a trace of killing intent erupting from his eyes.

"Men, at all costs, hack him to death," Du Feng shouted in a deep voice. He waved his hand, and the men behind him moved; they drew their weapons one after another and surged toward Chen Yu.

"Protect Mr. Chen," Zou Dalong also shouted. The men behind him also surged forward, and a chaotic battle was about to begin.

"Stop," just at this moment, a thunderous shout came.

Huang Yiqiang walked into the arena and said coldly, "Du Feng, do you not understand the rules of the jianghu?"

"It's you," Du Feng was startled. Huang Yiqiang had actually come too.

Although Huang Yiqiang only did business in antiques, the Fourth Master behind him was no ordinary person. Once he arrived, this matter would be troublesome.

Huang Yiqiang glanced at Du Feng, then bowed and retreated a few steps, supporting an old man wearing a robe and Buddhist Beads on his hand.

"Fourth Master." This time, even Zhao Zhong's expression changed.

"Fourth Master?" Du Feng waved his hand and hissed, "Everyone, stand down."
