Chapter 889: You Are Going to Be Punished
Having dealt with Number One, Chen Yu's figure flashed and vanished into the night sky.
Just at this moment, the sniper at the second post spotted Chen Yu. Number Two's psychological fortitude far exceeded that of Number One; once he discovered him, he quickly pulled the trigger in his hand.
*Puff*, a bullet struck toward Chen Yu. Although his sniper rifle was not a large caliber, its lethality was extremely strong and its muzzle velocity extremely fast. This shot was aimed at Chen Yu's chest; Chen Yu was certain to die.
But Chen Yu's figure flashed, and with a *click*, the shot hit the ground, the bullet scraping a string of sparks against the floor.
The second assassin was startled. He ejected the shell with a *click*, then quickly pointed at Chen Yu, followed immediately by another shot.
However, Chen Yu's figure flashed, and this shot missed once again.
The sniper's pupils constricted. He knew he had encountered an expert this time. He quickly retracted his gun to retreat, but the moment he stood up, he felt a chill on his back, followed by his vision going black, and he collapsed to the ground with a *thud*.
Having dealt with the two snipers, Chen Yu entered the villa directly.
Sending out his Divine Sense, he quickly discovered the basement. He opened the basement door and walked inside.
Just as he entered, a figure flashed, and a gun was already pointed at him. Chen Yu moved quickly, grabbed the gun, and with a *click*, the gun was dismantled by him. Then he struck out with a palm, and with a *puff*, a mercenary spat out blood and collapsed.
*Bang, bang, bang! * Bright lights flashed in the room. The bald man and his subordinates raised the weapons in their hands and attacked Chen Yu. For a time, gunfire lit up the room.
Chen Yu's figure moved, shifting rapidly within the room to dodge these people's bullets. His movement technique was extremely fast; an afterimage swept across the room, and accompanied by screams and muffled groans, the several people in the room fell to the ground one after another.
As the boss, the bald man's strength was naturally not weak. While retreating, he fired at Chen Yu. Once the bullets were spent, he moved both hands in succession, quickly swapping in a new magazine. After swapping, he quickly raised his hand and struck toward Chen Yu's head.
Chen Yu's figure swayed slightly, moving forward rapidly like a ghost. Every time he turned or dodged, he perfectly avoided the gun in the bald man's hand.
The bald man was frantically pulling the trigger while screaming hoarsely, because he felt death drawing closer and closer to him.
He felt that Chen Yu was definitely not human, because with his marksmanship, at such a close distance, Chen Yu could actually still dodge the bullets—he must be a ghost.
As they spoke, Chen Yu had already closed in. He brought two fingers of his right hand together and made a slight sweeping motion forward. With a *shhh* sound, a Sword Light flashed, and the gun in this guy's hand, along with two of his fingers, were easily sliced off by Chen Yu.
The bald man groaned, retreated a few steps, and looked at Chen Yu in horror.
The shock Chen Yu caused him was truly too great. Being able to dodge bullets, and with a light sweep of his right hand, being able to slice off the gun in his hand along with his fingers—could this still be considered human?
The basement lights came on. Several mercenaries were seen lying on the ground, motionless; clearly, they had gone to see Jesus. And apart from these people, Chen Yu did not find the figure of Liu Jingye.
"Where is Liu Jingye?" Chen Yu turned his head to look at the bald man.
"I don't know. It's just us brothers here," the bald man said through gritted teeth.
*Click. * Chen Yu stepped forward and crushed the fingers of his left hand. Chen Yu's foot did not show any mercy, and since the ten fingers are connected to the heart, even though the bald man was someone who had seen great storms and waves, Chen Yu's kick still made him roar in pain.
"I'm asking you, where is Liu Jingye?" Chen Yu asked while stepping on the bald man's left hand.
"If you have the guts... just kill me," the bald man said, clenching his teeth and enduring the pain.
"Alright then, not bad, you're a tough man." Chen Yu revealed a look of appreciation, then he twisted his foot, and the guy's hand emitted a *cluck* sound of cracking bones.
The bald man finally couldn't help but scream: "If you're a man, just give me a quick death."
"Laolang, the international Mercenary King, killing and looting abroad, committing every evil. Interpol has been looking for you. If I hand you over, do you really think you'll just die that simply?" Chen Yu sneered.
He reached back, pulled the Dagger from Laolang's waist, and plunged it into his thigh.
"Ah..." Laolang screamed hoarsely. His Dagger had a row of barbs on the back, which were extremely painful when stabbed into his leg. Chen Yu twisted the Dagger in his hand, and the guy's eyes were seeing stars from the pain.
"Secret passage, there is a secret passage here," Laolang screamed, pointing toward the rear.
Chen Yu looked back and saw a disguised door on the wall. He opened the door, and a passageway appeared before his eyes. It was very clear that Liu Jingye had escaped from here.
Chen Yu stepped into the secret passage, but his heart gave a jolt, and he retreated back out. He looked back and saw Laolang watching him, seemingly hoping he would walk into the secret passage.
"Do you take me for a fool?" Chen Yu sneered. He dragged Laolang along and walked into the secret passage.
"What are you doing, Chen Yu?" Laolang screamed in terror.
"Heh, I think you know better than I do what's inside the secret passage. Since you want to die, then I will grant your wish." Chen Yu sneered. He took out a Talisman and stuck it onto Laolang's back.
Laolang's figure stiffened. He discovered in horror that his body was no longer under his own control. His body stiffened, and he walked forward with a stumbling gait.
"Chen Yu, let me go, I'll tell you the truth. There are explosives inside. We deliberately lured you in. Liu Jingye has already left. I beg you, let me go!" Laolang screamed in terror.
He knew how much explosive force was in the secret passage. This was because the Liu Family was afraid that they wouldn't be able to blow Chen Yu to death, so they deliberately increased the amount. Moreover, the explosives were deep in the secret passage; as long as Chen Yu stepped inside, even an Immortal would find it hard to escape death.
But he never dreamed that Chen Yu would have sensed there was a problem inside the secret passage a step earlier, and that he would even use a Secret Technique to make him go in and scout the path.
"Is that so?" Chen Yu smiled: "Then it's hard work for you to make the trip for me. The Liu Family, they really think they can let Liu Jingye escape like this? They are truly too naive."
"Chen Yu, spare me. I'll be your dog from now on. I have great strength; many things that are inconvenient for you to do, I can do for you. As long as you let me go, I beg you," Laolang was almost pleading.
He was afraid of death. It was precisely because he had experienced death that he feared it even more. He was now pleading desperately, wanting Chen Yu to spare his life.
"Haha, I have never lacked dogs by my side, and I never do those lowly, dirty deeds," Chen Yu sneered: "If I want someone to die, even the King of Hell cannot keep him, so I don't need you to be my dog. Go in peace."
Chen Yu pointed with both hands, and Laolang accelerated. His body was stiff and his gait was strange. It was clear he was struggling with all his might, but no matter how he struggled, he could not resist Chen Yu.
Chen Yu turned and left. Five minutes later, a violent explosion sounded from beneath the villa. The massive shockwave broke through the ground; the power of the bomb was extremely strong, blasting a pit at least three meters deep underground.
