Chapter 981: Zen Meditation Realm

Thump, Chen Yu's knees went weak, and he knelt on the ground on one knee. He used Lichen to support himself, gritted his teeth, and then moved one hand with difficulty toward Lichen; he had to activate the Blood Breaking Method for a second time.

"Hehe, if you use the Blood Breaking Method one more time, all your strength will be exhausted, while my Boundless Zen Meditation can continue. You cannot win." Jingxi smiled slightly, looking at Chen Yu with pity.

Suddenly, a figure flashed, and Liu Lianxin appeared by Chen Yu's side.

"What are you doing?" Jingxi was startled, looking at Liu Lianxin in surprise.

"Master, if the seal is broken and the sleeping Ghost Clan is released, the world will completely fall." Liu Lianxin's face was pale; she raised her head and stared at Jingxi.

"So what are you doing? Are you going to kill your master?" Jingxi laughed: "You were trained by me personally; how many tricks you have, do I not know?"

"Master, you taught me how to deal with the Heart Demon, but now, you have become a Demon." Liu Lianxin's gaze became firm, and she murmured: "I'm sorry..."

She suddenly grabbed the back of her head, and the Pearl Flower that bound her hair appeared in her hand. Her three thousand strands of black hair cascaded down like a waterfall in that instant.

With a clear shout, the Pearl Flower condensed into a Green Lotus. The three petals of the Green Lotus suddenly peeled off on their own, and that Green Lotus, which radiated endless Buddhist intent, suddenly possessed a trace of chilling murderous intent.

"Rebellious disciple, you dare..." Jingxi's expression changed drastically. She hurriedly retreated, but it was a step too late. A flash of green light passed, and the three petals of the Green Lotus condensed into sword blades, striking straight for her brow.

Jingxi formed a Buddha Seal with her hands and struck back with a palm. The three green sword auras were repelled by her.

One of the sword auras struck Liu Lianxin's shoulder. She let out a muffled groan, retreated five steps, and fell backward.

At this moment, the Zen Meditation Realm had already vanished. Chen Yu wrapped an arm around her slender waist and helped her up.

Liu Lianxin pressed one hand against her bleeding shoulder, then pointed into mid-air. A blood-colored Buddha character appeared, and at the same time, with a flash of Spiritual Light, the Lock Demon Tower reappeared.

"Go to the Lock Demon Tower," Liu Lianxin shouted.

Chen Yu wrapped his arm around her waist and stepped into the Lock Demon Tower. With a flash of blood-colored light, the Lock Demon Tower vanished from the spot.

The main body of the Lock Demon Tower was hundreds of meters beneath the cliff; what appeared on the Lone Peak was a phantom image, but through the phantom, one could be directly teleported to the main body.

"Rebellious disciple." Jingxi moved her hand, intending to summon the Lock Demon Tower, but Liu Lianxin had already locked the Teleportation Stone of the Lock Demon Tower. She would only be able to find the two of them once she reached the foot of the mountain.

"Do you really think you can escape like this? Just wait, all three of you will die today." Jingxi's eyes were wide and round, her expression terrifying. She turned around, intending to head down the mountain.

But just at this moment, a purple butterfly suddenly flew over, and immediately following, the purple butterfly suddenly enlarged.

"Who is it?" Jingxi was shocked. The Ancient Spirit Butterfly's Immortal Spirit Soul had extraordinary power.

A figure slowly stepped onto the peak. Ye Xinyu's voice came coldly: "No one can touch Ye Xinyu's man."

"Are you one of Chen Tianming's people?" Jingxi turned her head to stare at Ye Xinyu, revealing a look of vigilance. Although she was very strong and already at the late stage of the Entering the Dao Realm, and dared to fight those in the Spirit Rhinoceros Realm, the opponent's Immortal Spirit Soul made her have to be vigilant.

"Yes," Ye Xinyu said.

"What are you doing?" Jingxi asked angrily.

"On the orders of the Heavenly Mandate elder, I have come to take your head." Ye Xinyu beckoned with her right hand. The Spirit Butterfly suddenly flapped its wings, and the Spirit Butterfly in the night sky, radiating a beautiful purple shadow, lunged fiercely at Jingxi.

Jingxi's figure stiffened, and she retreated three steps. A trace of ancient primordial aura made her face turn deathly pale. She turned around and quickly vanished without a trace.

The Spirit Butterfly disappeared. Ye Xinyu's face turned slightly pale; driving the Spirit Butterfly with all her might just now had reached her limit.

She glanced in the direction where the Lock Demon Tower had vanished, and her figure moved, intending to go down the mountain to find the entrance, because Chen Yu might be in danger below.

"Ye Xinyu, you have already violated the Heavenly Mandate elder's instructions. I understand now, you are trying to help Chen Yu grow?" Xie Hongyan appeared.

"You understand now?" Ye Xinyu smiled faintly: "It's a pity, is it too late?"

"You just wait, I am going to report this to the Heavenly Mandate elder right now," Xie Hongyan said through gritted teeth. She turned around, intending to leave.

But she felt her neck tighten. Her face turned white, and with a thump, she knelt on the ground. She clutched her throat tightly, opening her mouth powerlessly, seemingly wanting to make a sound, but a pair of invisible hands were tightly gripping her neck, leaving her unable to move.

"The Heavenly Mandate elder does not trust you all. He placed a 'Heart-Punishing Curse' on you; now the control is in my hands. If you want to die, I will grant your wish at any time." Ye Xinyu smiled faintly.

"Let, let me go." Xie Hongyan spat out the three words with difficulty.

Ye Xinyu withdrew her hand, and she collapsed onto the ground with a thump. She gasped for air violently, and it was a long time before she climbed up, only there was a trace of terror in her eyes as she looked at Ye Xinyu.

"You must remember clearly, I am the one who controls your life and death. Do you know who to listen to from now on?" Ye Xinyu said.

"But, everything you have was given by the Heavenly Mandate elder." Xie Hongyan was unconvinced. She was loyal to the Heavenly Mandate elder, but Ye Xinyu had received far more than her.

"If it could allow him and me to live our lives in peace, I wouldn't care about these things." Ye Xinyu said faintly: "You are right, I am trying to help Chen Yu grow and gradually break free from the Heavenly Mandate elder's control over him."

"But from now on, you must know who you are pledging your loyalty to." Ye Xinyu stared at Xie Hongyan; her profound gaze made Xie Hongyan feel fear.

"I... understand." Xie Hongyan was silent for a long time before nodding slightly.

Ye Xinyu's growth was very rapid, and after practicing the Tianle Nine Chapters, she displayed astonishing talent. More importantly, she was able to make the Heavenly Mandate elder trust her deeply.

Although Xie Hongyan was unwilling, she was more afraid of death. She stood up silently: "The Lock Demon Tower is below, there is an entrance."

Ye Xinyu said nothing and turned to head down the mountain.

Hundreds of meters deep underground, in front of an Underground Dark River, inside a three-story tower, Chen Yu and Liu Lianxin stumbled out.

Chen Yu helped her sit down, and seeing that she was severely injured, he prepared to perform acupuncture to stop the bleeding.

"Quick, that stone engraved with the Taiji pattern is the Teleportation Stone. It is made from an extraterrestrial meteorite. Destroy it, and it will be impossible to teleport people from the surface," Liu Lianxin urged while pressing on the wound on her shoulder.

Chen Yu grabbed Lichen from his hand and struck down with a sword.

With a boom, several starlight rays flashed across the Teleportation Stone, and seven stars lit up one by one. This was a Seven-Star Teleportation Great Array. As the Lichen sword aura in Chen Yu's hand swept across, the Teleportation Stone cracked with a sound and broke into several pieces, and the seven stars dimmed one by one.

"You are severely injured; I will perform acupuncture to stop your bleeding first." Chen Yu put away Lichen and quickly sealed the acupoints to slow the blood flow for Liu Lianxin.
