Chapter 720: The Entire Internet Moved
The livestream audience saw Parker go after him alone.
They immediately grew worried for Parker's safety.
"It doesn't seem right for Parker to rush over alone."
"He's only just gained his powers, isn't he? He's not as strong as he was in the later Infinity War."
"Yes, he's not very powerful yet; he relies mostly on his gear."
"And he doesn't even have his gear now."
After Parker finished instructing Ned on what to do,
he began leaping swiftly between buildings,
chasing after Toomes's car.
Under the cover of night,
the party had already ended.
Eugene was driving his classmates home,
complaining as he drove.
"I'm sorry about dinner."
"I could tell the sea bass wasn't fresh."
"And that one just now definitely wasn't fresh, okay?"
"So..."
Before he could finish speaking,
Parker's figure dropped from the sky,
landing directly on the hood.
Eugene slammed on the brakes,
staring at Parker in shock and astonishment.
Parker spoke immediately:
"Eugene, I need your car and your phone."
Eugene stared blankly at Parker:
"Sir, strictly speaking, this is my father's car."
"So I..."
But before he could finish,
Parker forcibly dragged him out of the vehicle.
Parker stomped on the accelerator.
The car sped off with a screech of tires.
It was clear, however, that Parker didn't know how to drive.
Along the way, he smashed into several bicycles.
Parker finally managed to get the car onto the main street.
He hurriedly called Ned.
"Hey, Ned."
Ned sat in the computer lab,
lights off, and quickly responded.
"Hey, can you hear me?"
Parker asked anxiously:
"I'm listening, Ned. I need your help."
"Track my phone's location."
Ned looked at his computer screen:
"Okay, but where is he?"
At that moment, in a corner of the car Toomes was driving,
the phone Parker had deliberately left behind
glowed faintly.
Simultaneously, Ned's computer displayed the corresponding location of the phone.
Ned exclaimed in surprise:
"That move was absolutely genius."
"He just passed the GameStop on Jack Street."
Just then, Parker's voice came over the phone with a different message.
"Where's the headlight switch?"
"I'm driving Eugene's car right now."
Ned didn't know how to drive either,
so he immediately looked it up online.
"Let me check the car manual."
Parker said while turning the steering wheel.
"Alright, I'll put it on speaker."
Ned was still smiling with great excitement.
"You actually stole Eugene's car; that's truly fantastic."
Parker watched as the vehicle was about to collide with the car.
"Yes, this feeling is great."
"Move aside, clear the road, hurry and move aside."
Parker flusteredly spun the steering wheel back and forth to avoid hitting the car.
Ned hurriedly asked:
"Peter, are you alright?"
From Parker's end came the sound of scraping, along with Parker's loud cries and shouts.
"I have never driven a car before."
