Chapter 178: ·The Dirty Trick Played by the Old Bug

Magical Craft - Seal Designation Enforcer.

The person in the picture is one of the many goddesses of the Type-Moon world, "Bazett Fraga McRemitz," also known as Sister Ba.

Sister Ba is a descendant of the Dog Brother and is also a vessel chosen by the gods in the future.

Although she usually dresses in a rather masculine style, I didn't expect her to be hiding so much.

The ability of this craft is to enhance the user's physical strength, allowing every move to exert its maximum potential.

To put it plainly, it's a critical hit with every punch.

For Extra Feng Xi, who excels in martial arts, this craft could not be more suitable.

It seems his luck today is indeed very good.

Subsequently, Extra Feng Xi opened the final Golden Treasure Chest.

Magical Craft - Vengeance from the Underworld.

Another craft with heaven-defying effects.

This craft can grant a Heroic Spirit a period of invincibility and increase the power of that Heroic Spirit's Noble Phantasm release by 20%, which is one-fifth.

His luck today is really quite good.

After the excitement, Extra Feng Xi finally felt tired, so he lay down and dozed off for a while.

After sleeping for about an hour, Extra Feng Xi had recovered, so he went downstairs to discuss the next steps with Zhang Jiao and the others.

Zhang Jiao: "So, the next target has to change again."

"Yes."

Extra Feng Xi said solemnly: "I was originally prepared to deal with the other groups, but I didn't expect the old bug to still be alive. This guy must not be left alone."

"Hmm, this evil cultivator must be eliminated; leaving him will only be a trouble."

Zhang Jiao frowned and said: "However, I don't know where he is hiding now. Having suffered a loss last time, this guy will probably hide even deeper this time."

Extra Feng Xi: "The only clue now is knowing that the old bug must be in contact with Matou Kariya."

Last night, Matou Kariya inexplicably formed an alliance with Emiya Kiritsugu, stating he wanted to deal with him, which left him confused, but with the old bug joining the group today, everything became clear.

It must be the old bug's order.

Given the relationship between Matou Kariya and the old bug, the reason this guy would obey the old bug's orders must be that he has been caught by some leverage.

But, what could it be?

After thinking for a long time, Extra Feng Xi couldn't figure out what this leverage was.

"Perhaps we can change our perspective and think from the old bug's point of view."

Seeing that Extra Feng Xi had no leads, Zhang Jiao suggested.

"Right, there is also this method."

Zhang Jiao's words timely awakened Extra Feng Xi.

Putting himself in the old bug's perspective, which is the perspective of the persecutor.

If he were to threaten Matou Kariya, what would he use as leverage?

Thinking this way, the train of thought immediately became clear.

The three Tohsaka mother and daughters—they are the only ones who can make Matou Kariya afraid to act rashly.

A simple threat certainly wouldn't be enough; the old bug has probably already made a move on them, otherwise he wouldn't be able to hold Matou Kariya in check.

But he went to the Tohsaka house yesterday, and they all seemed fine.

Could it be that he secretly did something to them?

Tohsaka Rin should be fine; after all, she has always been with Ishtar.

The chance of successfully doing something under the nose of a goddess shouldn't be high.

As for Tohsaka Sakura, he had just seen her yesterday.

If there were any problems with her, Zhang Jiao should have noticed.

That means it must be Tohsaka Aoi.

Right, he didn't seem to see Tohsaka Aoi yesterday.

Ever since the raid on the Matou house, he hadn't seen her again.

Thinking about it, it is highly likely to be Tohsaka Aoi.

But, what method would the old bug use on Tohsaka Aoi so that even Tohsaka Tokiomi wouldn't notice anything wrong?

The old bug's abilities include...

Extra Feng Xi began to organize the abilities he remembered the old bug possessed, and soon locked onto one.

In the *Fate/stay night 【Heaven's Feel】* manga, the old bug once used a mosquito-shaped familiar bug; this bug could replace the heart of a human with no resistance to magic and manipulate their body.

The old bug used this trick to control Kuzuki Soichiro.

After Kuzuki Soichiro's Servant Medea discovered it, she intended to use her Noble Phantasm to expel it, but instead caused it to self-destruct.

It is highly likely to be this; only this bug could control Tohsaka Aoi without anyone noticing.

Thinking of this, Extra Feng Xi decided to rush to the Tohsaka house now.

Speed is the essence of war; it's better to confirm it early.

Even if he guessed wrong, it would still be eliminating a wrong answer.

"What's the matter?"

At the Tohsaka house, Tohsaka Tokiomi was also a bit confused by Extra Feng Xi's sudden arrival.

Extra Feng Xi signaled him to stay calm, first letting Zhang Jiao check Tohsaka Rin and Tohsaka Sakura just in case.

After confirming they were fine, he had Hundred-Faced Hassan guard the room and not let anyone approach.

Extra Feng Xi: "Head of the Tohsaka family, where is Lady Tohsaka?"

Tohsaka Tokiomi: "Aoi? She hasn't come out of her room; what's wrong?"

"Phew, let me tell you something, don't get too excited..."

Extra Feng Xi signaled them to stay calm and explained his guess.

"What!"

Hearing the analyzed guess, Tohsaka Rin almost jumped up.

"Are you sure!"

Tohsaka Tokiomi clenched his fists tightly, his brows furrowed.

Extra Feng Xi: "This is just my guess, which is why I came to verify it."

Tohsaka Tokiomi: "How to verify it?"

Extra Feng Xi: "Let Zhang Jiao observe; after all, he is a Caster and is most skilled in this area."

"I understand."

Tohsaka Tokiomi gritted his teeth and pointed out Tohsaka Aoi's current location to Zhang Jiao.

Zhang Jiao immediately spiritualized to go and check, and Extra Feng Xi also had Hundred-Faced Hassan follow to provide support.

"..."

Tohsaka Tokiomi leaned on his head, silent.

At this moment, he only felt that time was passing exceptionally slowly.

At the same time, he hoped that Extra Feng Xi's guess was wrong.

If he was right, then he, as the head of the family, was truly too much of a failure.

He had previously almost pushed his daughter into a pit of fire, and this time his family had been sabotaged right under his nose.

Not only had he become an unqualified husband and father, but he had also lost all face for the Tohsaka family.

Unfortunately, Tohsaka Tokiomi didn't know what a "flag" was, nor did he know about Murphy's Law.

A few minutes later, Zhang Jiao returned and nodded at Extra Feng Xi.

Extra Feng Xi's guess was indeed correct.

While observing Tohsaka Aoi in secret, he indeed felt a faint magical power at Tohsaka Aoi's heart.

Tohsaka Aoi is just an ordinary person and has no magical items on her; how could there be magical power in her body?

Clearly, there was something with magical power inside her.

Hearing this news, Tohsaka Tokiomi immediately collapsed onto the sofa like a deflated ball. ===== CHAPTER 180 =====
