Chapter 225: ·An Unsatisfactory Exit

"Kill!!!"

Following the Great Emperor's order, the remaining legions quickly assembled and charged toward the Great Wall.

Halfway there, bows and javelins were fired in unison.

"Defend!!!"

Atop the Great Wall, the garrison remained unhurried.

Accompanied by a command, they leaned forward and raised their shields in perfect unison, blocking every incoming arrow and javelin.

"Fire!!!"

With another command, the shield-bearers stepped aside, and the archers stepped forward, drawing their bows and nocking arrows.

These archers were divided into three squads; the first squad fired and immediately retreated to reload, while the second and third squads filled in.

In less than a few seconds, a rain of arrows fell upon the Great Emperor's legion.

In an instant, the Great Emperor's legion suffered heavy losses. ===== CHAPTER 227 =====
