Chapter 259

(Karna)

【Ding! Quiz time is over.】

【Video continues.】

【"I'm sorry, considering your privileges, I will not hold back."】

【Karna directly releases his magical energy, and peach-colored flames cover the spear in his hand.】

【"Let me decide the outcome with this parting blow."】

【Just as Karna strikes, an unexpected change occurs.】

【"Go, Saber!"】

【Gordes appears out of nowhere and has his Servant Siegfried attack.】

【Siegfried quickly attacks from behind Karna, swinging his sword, which Karna blocks by turning around.】

【The two weapons clash, neither side is harmed, but the road sign on the side falls over.】

【Karna: "Are you the Black Saber?"】

【"Yes."】

【Siegfried nods.】

【Karna: "Is your target also the Ruler?"】

【Facing the inquiry, Siegfried remains silent.】

【Video paused.】

【The correct answer to this question is D.】

【Congratulations to Waver, Extra Feng Xi, Gilgamesh, Kayneth, Artoria, Diarmuid, Emiya Kiritsugu, Tokiomi Tohsaka, Kirei Kotomine, Kariya Matou, Rin Tohsaka, Sakura Matou, Irisviel, Zhang Jiao, Waver (II), Kiritsugu, Ishtar, Sola-Ui, Qin Shi Huang, Illya, Fiore, Darnic, Professor, and Vlad III for obtaining 3 Saint Quartz and advancing to the next round.】

【Other group members answered incorrectly and had 1 Saint Quartz deducted.】

Achilles: "This is really unexpected."

Kairi Sisigou: "How come the Black side appeared there too?"

Gordes: "This..."

Gordes subconsciously looks at Darnic.

His appearance there must have been at Darnic's instruction.

"Should have received the news."

Darnic is also a bit confused, and finally reaches this conclusion.

Roche: "But how did you old group members almost all answer correctly?"

Rin Tohsaka: "Because we have long since figured out the patterns of the quiz."

Kairi Sisigou: "Is that what you call experience?"

【Video continues.】

【"That was a close call, Saber."】

【Gordes comes to Jeanne's side and says: "Ruler, I have come to welcome you."】

【Because he is too fat, he is already panting after running two steps.】

【Jeanne: "The Black Saber and his Master?"】

【"Exactly, my name is Gordes Musik Yggdmillennia, so..."】

【Gordes points at Karna and says righteously: "Red Lancer, we have indeed seen your attempt to kill the Ruler."】

【"Attempting to erase the Heroic Spirit in charge of the Holy Grail War is an extreme violation of the rules!"】

【"I do not deny it."】

【Karna says indifferently: "Of course, since the Black Servant has appeared, let's start with you first."】

【Gordes: "Shut up, just honestly accept the sanctions of my Saber and the Ruler."】

【Jeanne says: "No, if you want to fight here, I have no objection, but I will absolutely not intervene, please rest assured."】

【Gordes: "What!!!"】

【Jeanne: "The Red Lancer covets my life, and the battle between the Black Saber and the Red Lancer are two completely different things."】

【"As Ruler, I must abide by the rules."】

Gordes: "..."

Rin Tohsaka: "Does this count as all that effort for nothing?"

Qin Shi Huang: "This woman's thinking is not wrong; as Ruler, one is strictly forbidden from interfering in the Holy Grail War."

【Karna: "Are you trying to have two against one? I don't mind."】

【"Saber, kill him!"】

【Seeing Karna so arrogant, Gordes roars.】

【Jeanne retreats to the side, expressing her stance.】

【"Is that so? It seems it's just you and me fighting each other."】

【Karna looks at Siegfried and says: "I once met a man whose eyes were very similar to yours; that man was undoubtedly a hero as well. If you look at me with those eyes, our battle is not a coincidence, but an inevitability."】

【Karna releases his magical energy again, this time his whole body is covered in flames.】

【"My name is Karna, son of the Sun God. If you have no fear of my spear, then bring it on."】

【"The wandering knight of the Netherlands, Siegfried is here."】

【Siegfried finally speaks and reports his name.】

【The two sides start the war, and their clash causes a violent explosion.】

【Video paused.】

【Question: What will be the outcome of this battle?】

【A: Siegfried wins.】

【B: Karna wins.】

【C: Both sides tie.】

【D: A third party intervenes, and the battle is aborted.】

Kayneth: "The same question twice in a row."

Waver: "This battle is even harder to judge."

Sola-Ui: "There shouldn't be a third party intervening this time, it should be Karna's victory."

Waver: "Indeed, Siegfried shouldn't be Karna's opponent."

Iskandar: "Hmm, indeed."

Waver: "You're still talking, you didn't listen to me on the last question."

Iskandar: "Don't worry about such things."

Rin Tohsaka: "Big Brother Extra Feng Xi, which one do you think we should choose for this question?"

Extra Feng Xi: "Choose C."

Rin Tohsaka: "Why?"

Extra Feng Xi: "Because this is only the first battle, both sides will definitely hold back."

Rin Tohsaka: "That makes sense."

【Ding! Quiz time is over.】

【Video continues.】

【The battle between Siegfried and Karna is very intense; the two fight all the way from the highway to the wilderness on the side, countless boulders are shattered, and the sky begins to brighten.】

【They actually fought from night until dawn.】

【One sword strike, one spear thrust, they fight from the ground to mid-air.】

【However, as Karna exerts his strength, Siegfried is directly knocked down from mid-air by flames.】

【The battle between the two finally comes to a pause.】

【"The magic spear that can pierce my Dragon Armor, I have deep respect for your technique, your legend, and your suffering."】

【The smoke clears, Siegfried touches the wound on his face and says solemnly.】

Siegfried: "Impressive, Karna, you shouldn't have used your full strength yet."

Karna: "You are also quite good."

Rin Tohsaka: "This is the strength of a broken-tier Servant, still so shocking."

Gilgamesh: "Hmph, so-so, but barely worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as me."
