Chapter 610

【"Ruler!"】

【Atalanta had also jumped onto the plane by this time, confronting Jeanne.】

【Jeanne had assumed that since Atalanta was an Archer, she wouldn't be skilled in close-quarters combat, but she had guessed wrong.】

【As a top-tier hunter, how could Atalanta's close-quarters ability be anything but exceptional?】

【Atalanta was not only fast in movement, but her close-range shooting also made her arrows difficult to dodge; after a rapid-fire barrage, Jeanne finally made a mistake and was struck in the flank.】

【Jeanne was also rich in combat experience; instead of pulling the arrow out immediately, she swung her holy flag to force Atalanta back, but the opponent grabbed it directly and wouldn't let go.】

【However, Atalanta also miscalculated. When she tried to press her advantage, Jeanne drew the sword at her waist—which had appeared to be merely decorative—forcing her back. Then, using both hands and feet, Jeanne exerted immense strength to reclaim the holy flag, used it to entangle the off-balance Atalanta's legs, and violently yanked her up before slamming her down.】

【This heavy blow caused Atalanta to vomit blood instantly.】

Rin Tohsaka: "Hiss, just watching that hurts."

Waver: "This plane is sturdy enough; I can't believe it's still flying after that."

Fiore: "It really is the final battle; everyone is giving it their all."

【"Ha, haha, hahaha, it hurts, it hurts so much... Those children must have been in so much pain, too. Unable to do good, unable to do evil—come to think of it, to be killed without even being able to do anything, what a desperate thing that is..."】

【Jeanne: "Are you talking about Jack the Ripper?"】

【Atalanta: "Screw your 'Child-Killer,' they aren't the Ripper, absolutely not."】

【Jeanne: "... Yes, I am the Child-Killer, and now, I will kill you here, too."】

【"I have no objections. We never agreed with each other from the start. No matter what happens, no matter what occurs, I will kill you. Even if I must transform into a demonic existence."】

【Atalanta climbed up and pulled out the "Boar of Divine Punishment."】

【The next moment, the demon-transformed Atalanta appeared.】

【"Ahhh, it hurts. It hurts, it hurts—this is the pain of those children. Therefore, Ruler, you too shall fall into an endless chain through this pain!"】
