Chapter 712

【"Hey, has this started recording?"】

【Atrum adjusted the screen, sat back and showed a self-deprecating smile, shrugged and said: "Hmm. That's good... Alright, when you see this video, it's a pity, this means I was defeated in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Hahaha, how unseemly. I declared that I would not repeat the mistakes of Lord El-Melloi, but I was defeated."】

【The tone doesn't sound like a joke, he seems to have been mentally prepared for his death long ago.】

【"Ah, of course I will go all out until the end, after all, the amount already invested is not trivial. Yes, you said it, right? It's best not to underestimate the Holy Grail War. I gradually understood what that meant, and I was prepared to recover from the disadvantage. From now on, I intend to invest in the war situation with more careful preparation... However, the situation has indeed become a bit difficult. First of all, the contract between me and that untrustworthy Heroic Spirit... I said too much."】

【"In any case, if I am defeated, I will arrange for many notifications, including this letter, to be delivered to the necessary objects. This is a natural obligation. When a mistake occurs, even after one's own death, one must properly clean up the aftermath; this is also the mission of a noble."】

【"The battle with you at Izulma, I fought quite happily. As a noble, of course I should thank you."】

【"I hope you accept this small gift. Regardless of other Lords, for you, the weakest Lord in the world, it should be of some help."】

【On the screen, the maid handed over the envelope that El-Melloi II just opened.】

【"By the way, by the way. In case I win and this letter is delivered to you, then you should be prepared. I will go all out to destroy it."】

【The final bravado is really in line with his characteristics.】

Kairi Sisigou: "That arrogant guy, he has a bit of style."】

Kayneth: "He said the untrustworthy Heroic Spirit, is it that the compatibility with his own Heroic Spirit is poor, or is the Heroic Spirit's reputation not good to begin with?"】

Tokiomi Tohsaka: "In short, it counts as a clue."】

Caules: "At this time, shouldn't we focus on what the gift is, why are we all focusing on Atrum's Heroic Spirit identity again?"】

Waver: "That's true, it looks like the gift is on the envelope, is it some kind of magic spell?"】
