Let me talk about the performance—though I’m puzzled why so many people care about numbers, scratching my head.

First-month subscriptions are 5,400+, just under 5,500; I forgot the exact figure.

The performance is excellent, considering our initial estimate was less than half this number.

With good performance, I’ll write well, striving to lay a solid foundation—next book, Twelve Heavenly Kings!

Now, the update notice.

I have no backup drafts; quality takes too long to maintain, so I write and post as I go.

This makes update times somewhat unstable.

Like the day before yesterday, when I had something to do and only posted one chapter, then yesterday rushed out three.

But I still want to stabilize the schedule and keep one chapter in reserve.

So my suggestion is: stop counting by chapters, count by word count instead.

Two chapters of 4K words daily—translating to 216,000 words for the remaining 27 days this month.

Plus, I owe one 4K chapter to the patron (ID: EightYearsAgo).

The novel currently stands at 310,000 words; by month’s end, it will reach 530,000.

Today’s update is delayed to just one chapter—I’ll write the rest but hold off on posting, to stabilize the schedule: one chapter at 10 a.m., one at 5 p.m. daily. How’s that?

If I take a day off mid-month, I’ll announce it in advance; the total word count for this month won’t be short.
