Chapter 203: Fire Wheel: Gork's Titan
Ninglu led the Honor Guard forward, gathering members of the Honor Guard along the way.
Hundreds upon hundreds of Orcs surged over frantically, but they did not slow the pace of the Honor Guard's advance.
The Primarch found the Primarch Attendant and most of the Honor Guard members, and headed toward the Portal.
It was not until they were about one kilometer away from the Portal that the squad encountered trouble.
The Mekboyz who built the Portal, leading their Burna Boyz, appeared in front in swarms.
"For Gork and Mork!"
The Mekboy who arrived at the battlefield first shouted loudly.
The Burna Boyz let out enthusiastic yells like they were having a stroke, then sprayed their flamethrowers.
Arsena, wearing a respirator Mask, stepped forward and waved the staff in his hand.
An invisible "Force Field" blocked the incoming streams of Liyan Rongliu.
Ninglu shouted, his voice drowning out the crackling sound of the flames.
"Flanks, fuel tanks."
The Honor Guard members on the flanks of the line raised the bolters in their hands and fired bolts at the iron tanks carried on the backs of the Orks.
The diamond-tipped warheads pierced the outer skin of the iron tanks, and the bolt explosions triggered the sympathetic detonation of the Promethium.
Boom, boom, boom!
Their leather battle armor was torn apart by the explosions, and the arsonists were blown into puddles of blood mist.
The Mekboy screamed in terror, turning into black smoke along with the maintenance tools on his body.
The squad continued forward for a hundred meters; dozens of Mekboyz appeared ahead, with tens of thousands of Burna Boyz behind them.
"Cutting torches!"
The Burna Boyz pulled, switching to, cutting torch mode.
The largest of the Mekboyz felt his blood begin to boil, and the green mist in his heart condensed into a boiling sphere of rage.
He roared and raised the modified Big Shoota in his hand, firing a dozen shots into the air in succession.
Amidst the rat-tat-tat, the Mekboy shouted loudly.
"One black tin can, one mug of Fungus beer!"
"Waaagh!"
A green light rose in the burning eyes of the Burna Boyz.
"Waaagh!"
"Burn the black tin cans!"
The flames shot from countless flamethrowers converged into a sea of fire, covering the entire group of Honor Guard members.
The silver-haired psyker held his hands high, unleashing his telekinesis with all his might to hold up the "Force Field".
Sweat immediately seeped from his forehead; the moment his telekinesis collided with the sea of fire, he felt that the flames spat out by the Orks had changed drastically in both quantity and quality.
In an instant, gaps appeared in several places in his psychic field.
Arsena's sweat dripped down, and at the same time, the fingers of his left hand trembled.
Bang!
A stream of Liyan Rongliu broke through a gap and struck an Honor Guard member.
The Astartes, along with his power armor, was immediately burned into pitch-black charcoal.
The Order Shadow felt the immense pain suffered by their battle-brother at the moment of his Death, and as they watched the ashes engulfed by the molten stream, their attack speed became even faster.
Bolts collided with the Liyan Rongliu, the explosive sounds kicking up waves of force.
At this moment, Ninglu sheathed the Sword of Vaul back at his waist and grabbed a piece of Ork armor from the ground.
The Primarch exerted a little force, crushing the hard armor.
His fingers precisely controlled the strength of his fingers and muscles, and the armor instantly shattered into dozens of smaller iron strips, chunks, balls, and other objects.
"A gift for you!"
The "Briber" infused Spirituality into his hands and threw them with force; dozens of metal objects flew into the air.
The metal objects drew arcs in the air, crossing over the molten stream sprayed by the Burna Boyz, and then rotated as they fell.
Under the control of the "Briber's" extraordinary throwing ability, each metal object flew in a different direction, smashing into the lowered Masks of the Burna Boyz in the back rows.
The force contained within the metal objects prompted them to smash through the Masks and strike the faces of the Burna Boyz.
A dozen or so of the Burna Boyz lost their minds amidst the incoming heatwave.
In their eyes, every Burna Boy around them had turned into a hateful enemy.
They let out angry roars and used their flamethrowers to launch attacks in all directions.
The Burna Boyz were caught off guard; they usually unleashed their destructive urges without restraint, even spraying flames at each other.
But when the Mekboyz were around, they dared not play with fire recklessly.
Caught off guard, hundreds of Burna Boyz were immediately burned to Death by the flames.
The relatively orderly array of Burna Boyz maintained by the Mekboyz immediately fell into chaos.
Seeing this, Ninglu nodded with satisfaction.
"Bribe · Charm" causes the target to develop a strong sense of goodwill, makes it difficult to harbor hostile intent, and even makes them unwilling to fight the "Briber".
If the "Bribe" is appropriate, there is even a tiny probability of them attacking their own companions in reverse.
【Sure enough, "Bribe · Charm" is usually useless, but it has miraculous effects on Orcs.
The Orks are naturally bellicose; when there are no enemies, they will launch attacks on surrounding Orcs.
The tiny probability rises to a level where it can take effect on the Orks, and some Orcs will lose their minds and launch attacks on their own kind nearby.】
The "Briber" quickly picked up Ork battle armor from the ground, crushed it, and threw it out.
Trails of Flame Vortex bloomed among the Orcs, and tens of thousands of Orcs were plunged into a sea of fire in an instant.
The chain wrapped around the little finger of Ninglu's right hand shimmered with blood-red light, and his exhausted Spirituality was rapidly replenished.
The Primarch Attendant wiped the sweat from his forehead; he suddenly bowed and pushed forward with all his might.
The sea of fire surged forward, swallowing the charging Ork.
The Honor Guard split into two squads, bypassed the sides of the sea of fire, and charged toward the Portal.
Ninglu was the first to see a strange yellow mechanical construct standing before the Portal.
It was as tall as a Knight Mech, with a strange red beast skull painted on its front.
Gage Jingang!
Ninglu immediately recognized the Orc mechanical construct; it was the mortal idol of the Ork god Gork, a machine all Orcs dreamed of.
The Gage Jingang guarding the Portal raised its left arm and fired at the Honor Guard behind the cover.
After the two squads of Order Shadow landed, they were far from the Primarch, so they marched directly toward the target point marked on their helmets.
The team led by Ninglu attracted all the Wrench Bosses around the Portal, and the two squads successfully broke through to the Portal area.
They immediately encountered the Gage Jingang; it raised its left arm, and the Deathstorm super shooter spun rapidly.
Amidst a deafening sound, six Big Shootas fired a dense rain of bullets at the black-armored Warriors.
One Honor Guard member was pierced by bullets.
The Apothecary in the squad immediately rushed over; saving the wounded was his responsibility.
The Apothecary lunged hard at the Order Shadow, and they rolled to avoid the attack.
The Gage Jingang's left arm followed the two Honor Guard members as they moved, and the dense barrage pitted the ground.
The Honor Guard members launched an offensive against the strange mechanical construct in front of them, covering the two Order Shadow.
Bolter rounds struck the body of the Gage Jingang, and shards of metal shattered.
The Orc Boss inside the cockpit roared in anger; the damage to the Gork idol made him furious.
The Orc Boss heard Gork's roar in his ears and activated the two pairs of rocket launchers on top of his head.
The missiles trailed exhaust flames as they shot toward the two squads respectively.
Rumble!
The two squads of Honor Guard members scattered to dodge.
The Gage Jingang raised its right arm, and the two twin-linked Big Shootas mounted on it roared in anger.
A rain of bullets shot out, and another Honor Guard member was hit.
The Boss grinned and strode toward the fallen Honor Guard member, the Flamethrower on his chest spewing flames capable of roasting the Order Shadow into slag at the black-armored Warriors.
Just then, a black figure slammed into the Gage Jingang like a whirlwind.
The Orc Boss struggled to control his body; he saw a giant much taller than those black-armored Warriors.
He angrily activated the Gage zhi Zhua, and the roaring, massive power claw smashed toward Ninglu.
The Primarch activated his Power Fist, and golden light shone.
Fist against fist, a clash of pure strength.
The Power Fist collided with the Gage zhi Zhua, emitting a thunderous explosion.
The Gage Jingang was shaken and slid backward, its feet sinking into the ground, leaving two deep trenches.
The Orc Boss roared in anger; after being chosen by Gork, this was the first time he had fallen behind in strength.
The power claw was damaged in the previous collision, and fragments fell to the ground with a clatter.
The roar of Gork echoed in his ears, and flames erupted from the chest of the Gage Jingang.
The Primarch landed on the ground and immediately sprang up, avoiding the torrent of flames.
Ninglu used the 1st form of "Osber-Vaya" and stabbed the Sword of Vaul toward the Orc Boss.
The Orc Boss hurriedly swung the Gage zhi Zhua to block in front of the cockpit.
The Sword of Vaul pierced the crack in the massive power claw, and with a loud bang, the Gage zhi Zhua was shattered.
The Primarch used the 2nd form of "Osber-Vaya" and thrust his sword backhanded.
The blue-white light pierced through the mechanical armor and into the Orc Boss's chest.
The tall Gage Jingang crashed heavily to the ground.
The Honor Guard members looked at the shadow of the Gene-Father who had killed the Orc mech in an instant, their eyes full of admiration.
After clearing the obstacles, two Techmarines immediately rushed to the Portal and began to study it.
Ninglu discovered that the Orc Boss's teeth, like those of other Orks, radiated a spiritual glow, so he used a Chainsword from a guard member to cut two teeth off.
The Primarch left a squad of Honor Guard members standing before the Portal, using the wreckage of the Gage Jingang as cover to fend off the Orcs rushing out of the Portal.
Subsequently, he launched continuous strikes on other Portals.
The boarding actions launched by the Honor Guard and the Second and Seventh Legion dealt a heavy blow to the Orks, and the Battle Moon was unable to launch an attack.
In the void, the Eleventh Legion that arrived in the system became the main force in clearing the Orc warships.
Per Koscielny served as Commander in actual combat for the first time, directing his ship to launch an attack on the Orks.
