Chapter 234: Fire Wheel Final Battle: The Golden-Glistening Orc Boss (Seeking)

~8 min read 1,429 words

Alex issued the order concisely.

"Pilot, fire!"

Two Gatling Blaster Cannons roared and spun, spitting out strings of giant shells.

A barrage of death swept toward the Orcs.

In an instant, hundreds of Orcs were torn to shreds.

The two Echo Locators of the Warlord Titan captured the tremors and motor noises from the ground.

The Radar Scanner then marked the Orc Dakka onto the tactical schematic.

"Destroy them!"

Alex gave the order, and the four Apocalypse Missile Launchers on his shoulders activated simultaneously.

The missiles trailed blinding light, shooting toward the locked-on heat signatures respectively.

Boom, boom, boom!

One Orc Dakka after another was flipped over by the explosions, tumbling as they crashed to the ground.

Other Titans stepped off the deck to join the fire support.

The Deathstorm and vortex of flames swept through the Ork tide, turning the Orks to ashes within pillars of fire reaching the sky.

The Warlord Titans advanced with rhythmic steps, each stride a standard twenty meters.

Thierry Viera stepped out of the drop pod, feeling the scorching air whistling in return, and he saw the Titans pushing forward unstoppably.

Wearing black helmets, black armor, and red robes, the Skitarii Rangers marched in order between the Titan ranks.

They raised their Arc Rifles, firing blue-white beams at the Orcs.

Bolts of lightning tore through the sky with deafening, explosive roars.

The Orcs struck by the arcs were all knocked backward, collapsing powerlessly as their hearts suffered electric shocks.

The Morning Star Titan Legion coordinated closely with the Skitarii, conducting precise and efficient strikes against the Orcs.

Thierry remarked to Second Company Captain Bukawu and Third Company Captain Juerjuer beside him: "Efficient, coordinated, precise."

"The Gene-Father truly has a discerning eye to choose to ally with Graia."

First Captain Robin stood to one side, watching the three chatting and laughing.

"Lord..." He pronounced the word heavily in the Vostonian language, then said, "We are here to fight a war; we cannot just watch our allies fight and bleed."

Robin expressed his dissatisfaction, yet managed to avoid offending the Commander's dignity at the perfect moment.

Although he was dissatisfied that he had not become a Knight Lord like his former colleagues, he knew that even the most powerful of the former Reapers, Saisake, had lost to Thierry, and he was even less of a match.

【Endure, wait for the opportunity to prove myself.

Father also said to look for the right moment.】

Thierry glanced at Robin, his pitch-black eyes profound.

"Are you in a hurry?"

"Indeed, the Lord would not want the Orc Boss to be killed by the allied Titans, would he?"

"Correct," the Knight Lord said with a smile, "Attack."

The Eighth Legion Order Shadow, with orange swords painted on their right shoulders, marched in rhythmic steps toward the Orks.

After the Knight Lord led the Eighth Legion to arrive outside the Orc Fortress, he discovered that thirty-five Titans had already launched attacks from four directions.

A Mars-Alpha pattern Warlord Titan had the Hammerhead Bolter Cannon on its left arm spinning at high speed, aiming at a section of the Ork fortress and launching continuous strikes.

The bolter shells smashed into the fortress walls one after another, emitting a continuous, deafening roar.

The Orc fortress walls shook constantly, with rubble splashing everywhere.

Thierry keenly discovered that cracks were appearing on that wall, resembling a spiderweb.

"Follow me."

The Knight Lord led his guard toward the cracks in the wall.

Thirty-some meters from the wall, the cracks in the wall, the spiderweb-like cracks, grew larger and larger.

With a loud explosion, the fissure in the Orc fortress wall collapsed with a roar.

Thierry took the lead, with the orange-furred Strong-Brain Cat following closely by his side.

Thierry brandished his Power Sword, and the blue Charged Blade slashed out.

The three charging Orcs had their throats cut in unison, and the Disruption Field shredded their heads.

Seeing Thierry charge into the city, Robin immediately issued an order.

"Follow me."

He led the First Company, following behind the guard, and slaughtered his way into the city.

As Thierry charged into the city, he was immediately met with a tidal wave of attacks from Orcs whose armor and weapons were painted with bright patterns.

The Knight Lord shouted loudly: "Knight Lance!"

The guard members immediately formed a combat formation with the Knight Lord as the tip of the lance.

The "Warriors" used agility that surpassed the ordinary Order Shadow to chisel into the Orc tide.

They used the weapons in their hands, using the Way of "Osber-Waya," to launch attacks on the Orcs.

Thierry was the number one person under the Primarch in the Eleventh Legion.

The Eighth Legion was the Chapter in the Legion most adept at the "Osber-Waya," and the "Warriors" were the best of the best within the Chapter.

The extraordinary power of the "Warriors" suppressed the Orcs, and their techniques were far beyond comparison to the Bad Moon Boyz, who had gold inlaid on their bodies.

Orcs of other clans had no interest in flashy decorations like gold, but the Bad Moon Boyz loved to trade their teeth for these shiny things.

After Robin charged into the fortress, he saw Thierry leading the guard, unstoppable.

In his mind, the scene of Thierry defeating Saisake in the arena immediately surfaced.

The first Titan to charge into the city was the Lagosi; after Alex commanded the Titans to remove the defensive artillery one by one, they charged into the Fortress.

Through the battlefield images captured by the Electromagnetic Detector, Alex quickly grasped the combat situation inside the Fortress.

He was surprised to discover that the Knight Lord was leading his guard, slaughtering the Orks at an astonishing speed; their rate of advance was not even much slower than the God-Machines.

While Alex marveled, the Spectrum Sensor fed back a clear image on the Manifold Interface.

An Orc, at least five snotlings taller than the other Orcs, had a golden, glittering Boss Pole behind him that shone dazzlingly under the starlight.

The magnificent mega-armor on his body was thicker than any other Orc's, making him look as if he were encased in a shorter Knight Mech.

"Waaagh!"

The Orc Boss roared, charged in front of Thierry, and raised his Choppa to strike down.

The big Choppa in his hand looked completely different from the tattered Choppas in the hands of other Orcs; it was a magnificent great blade shining with golden light.

Thierry swung his Power Sword according to the 6th article of the "Osberh-Vaya," forcibly twisting his arm to raise the blade and parry the big Choppa.

Thierry's feet were pressed into the ground; his body was taut, and he was forced to slide backward.

Instead of retreating, Thierry advanced; he launched consecutive strikes using the "Osberh-Vaya."

The Fighter's movements were swifter than the Orc Boss's, and the Charged Blade left streaks of sword marks on the armor.

The magnificent armor soon became tattered, which made the Orc Boss exceptionally furious.

"Gork and Mork!"

Green mist rose in the Orc Boss's mind, and he let out a great shout.

"Waaagh!"

Thierry felt a massive force transmitted from the weapon in his hand; he was almost sent flying.

Robin's eyes narrowed; he saw a gap in the Orc Boss's damaged armor.

【As long as I can kill the Orc Boss, I will win higher prestige in the Battle of the Wheel of Fire than Thierry.

This is a good start; I will win victory after victory and prove to my father that I am the qualified lord.】

Thinking this, Robin charged swiftly toward the Orc Boss.

"Waaagh!"

The Orc Boss roared, swung his big Choppa violently, and was preparing to strike at the black-armored human who had ruined his armor.

Suddenly, another human killed his way out, grinning as he swung his big Choppa.

Robin could not dodge in time and was cleaved in two by the magnificent big Choppa.

Thierry, who scrambled to his feet, had a resolute gaze.

【I must kill the Orc Boss!】

His eyes were deep, and his black pupils expanded to swallow his eyeballs.

Thierry met the Orc Boss, using the 23rd article of the "Osberh-Vaya" to employ a technique of overcoming the strong with the weak, and slashed out a sword stance.

The Charged Blade plunged in from the Orc Boss's neck armor, piercing through the Orc Boss's head.

Thierry said in a low voice.

"I have awakened 'Warp Insight'."

He glanced at the corpse cleaved in two and shook his head.

"Robin is dead."
