Chapter 1101: Two Days Off and a Few Words

~2 min read 278 words

Requesting two days off and a few words.

Requesting two days off and a few words.

I couldn't write again today.

The whole book still has a few hundred thousand characters left, and the outline for the later plot is already fully prepared; I just need to keep writing along it until the ending. However, I've been writing this book for almost three years now, and my creative passion has long been exhausted. Even if I only update four thousand characters a day, it still leaves me feeling physically and mentally exhausted.

After the part where Lei En becomes emperor, my typing pace plummeted even further. Last month I didn't even know how I got through it; to maintain the Perfect Attendance Award I update daily, it feels like I'm just coping.

Everyone has noticed it; the recent chapter quality has declined, and many say I'm padding, I feel very ashamed.

There are still three or four major plot arcs left before the novel is finished; I really want to fast‑forward and then rest properly for a month or two, but unfortunately I can't.

Today is the same situation: I know exactly what I need to write, but every one of my brain cells resists typing, refusing to think—my heart is exhausted!

So I'm planning to take two days off, completely clear my mind, go out tomorrow to some nearby place for a walk, relax, and return on the 5th to update.

If it weren't for the Perfect Attendance Award, which limits me to at most three days off per month, I'd already want to take a whole week off.

Please understand, everyone, thank you!
