Chapter 622: Two-Day Leave

Request two days off.

Request two days off.

I originally didn't want to say this, but at the beginning of January I mentioned that my grandmother was gravely ill, lingering near death, and she lasted another two months; this morning I rushed back to my hometown, even bringing a computer hoping to keep the updates going, only to realize I was being too hopeful—I'll have to stand watch at night…

Tomorrow will be even busier; there are many procedures.

I can only take two days off, and will return to the city the morning after tomorrow.

The updates missed these two days count as two chapters I owe; I'll make them up when I get back.

Also, I just discovered that the end of the previous chapter had 300 characters deleted, not sure when they vanished; I edited part of it to fill the gap.
