Chapter 654: Drafting a Leave Request
Drafting a Leave Request
Drafting a Leave Request
The new volume is a bit harder than I imagined!
From 10 p. m. last night until 3 a. m., and from noon today until now, 10:30 p. m., I have been either at the computer or wandering the backyard; honestly, at most I was goofing off for half an hour, reading the book I'm updating, slept a little over an hour at 7 a. m., and the rest of the time my mind stayed in the book's world, even dreaming about it, yet I still haven't organized this volume's plot—it feels more tiring than writing ten thousand words.
Actually I started sketching it gradually since last week, but I found there still wasn't enough time. There's too much content to re‑organize, detailed settings to flesh out, countless references to check; it always feels incomplete, with no way to start, so today I had to bail.
The author finds this stage the hardest to endure… the heart aches…
On the first day of leave this month, I keep squeezing my brain cells, hoping I can finish it tonight!
