Half a month ago, a beautiful editor told me I had to write a side story for a Qidian event, and then my procrastination kicked in, and I delayed until today, the last day of the deadline, before writing.

I started brainstorming after noon, around 12 o'clock, and by a little after 3 I finalized the content and began writing, thinking I could finish before 6, but the more I wrote the more it grew, and I wrote until past 9, nearly eight thousand words, without even eating a meal in between, and I kept the editor waiting that long.

After finishing, I ordered takeout; it was already almost 10 o'clock, and my head was still buzzing.

I opened the document and realized I couldn't even recall what I wrote yesterday; after half an hour of mulling, I still couldn't get into the zone… The plot is at a crucial point, taking leave will surely get me scolded, but I truly have no clue right now, and I don't want to stay up all night.

Last week I scheduled a hospital physical for my parents and me tomorrow morning, so I have to get up very early. Usually there's nothing going on, but when something does, everything piles up at once; it's really helpless.

Tomorrow, in the second watch, I'll finish writing this Thus Place: Yilaientu part.

Oh right, the side story should be available in a couple of days, titled "The 404 Journey of the Succubus Holy Swordsman", hehe…
