In the afternoon I was drafting the outline for Volume Seven, enough for about 50 chapters, and the notes alone are two or three thousand words. Then in the evening I had dinner with author friends, and when I got home I realized I had only sketched the main plot; the detailed content was still lacking, making it really hard to start writing.

In this regard I have a bit of OCD; for a chapter, I can't write anything until I've thought it through completely, and I often get stuck on a tiny detail for a long time. I have to consider everything thoroughly, have a clear sense in my mind, then the writing flows smoothly. I don't know whether that's a good habit or a bad one.

Today's leave was completely unexpected; I used my fourth Leave Request this month, and 100,000 points just slipped away from me. Actually I'm less willing to take leave than anyone else, feeling depressed…
