I’m still the only person standing inside here with no cargo to be found.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I was just about to think that the smuggler got caught or something when a hissing noise came from the airlock and the door cycled open.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I watched as a guy stepped through the door and noted that he had a cybernetic left leg and right arm while his left eye was also replaced by a cybernetic eyepiece.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Behind him was a large container that was being dragged along by a drone following behind him which no doubt contained the dog in question.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The smuggler narrowed his one good eye when he saw me before he approached me, his cybernetic arm swinging behind him to move out of sight.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I’m assuming he had some kind of weapon hidden in it and he’s making sure that he’s prepared to attack in case I turn out to be his enemy.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I waited until the smuggler was closer to me before I spoke out the password that Yuki had told me beforehand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Do you happen to have a lot of hair?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The smuggler relaxed slightly, \"Yes. I keep them all inside this box.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Once we had acknowledged each other, the smuggler stepped aside to let his drone lower the container in front of me before he grunted.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I don’t know what this is and I don’t want to know... But I thought that I should probably tell you that whatever is inside doesn’t seem happy to be inside. The last few days, there were a lot of banging noises coming from inside.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I nodded at him, \"I’ll handle it, don’t worry.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He shrugged, \"Like I said, none of my business. I’m just here to get paid.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I wordlessly pulled out a Credit Chip that Yuki had provided me beforehand and handed it over to him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He took it with his good arm before he plugged it into his cybernetic arm, prompting his mechanical eye to light up for a moment before he nodded.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Everything seems to be in order. Tell your boss that I’m happy to work with them again.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He then left with his drones and disappeared through the airlock, leaving me with the container in front of me.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Right... I suppose the first thing to check here is whether I can control whatever that’s inside there.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>That’s why I’m here alone right now since the girls might get dragged in if whatever that is inside can’t be controlled by me.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In the event that happened, I could use my Psionic powers to restrain it while Renata protects me instead of worrying about the creature going after my girls.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I moved up to the door of the container and started the process of unlocking it using a console that popped out from the side as I approached the door on the container.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I tapped on the screen to begin the unlocking sequence and the main door let out a hiss as it slowly began to swing open with a rather ominous grating noise.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Taking a few steps back, I braced myself and watched as the opening got bigger and bigger until there was enough space for a person to walk through it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The only thing preventing me from seeing what was inside the container was the lack of lighting and all I saw was an inky blackness within the container.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I then activated the flashlight function on my Codex and I found myself looking at a giant creature that was basically almost the same size as I was...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And it’s so fluffy!!! Waahhh!! It’s a fluffy dog!!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I still can’t tell what breed it is since most of the dog was still obscured inside the container but I could at least tell it was definitely fluffy with dark brownish, orange fur.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ahem... Let me try this...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I stretched out my hand towards it and beckoned towards it, \"Come here~\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The dog began to move and despite its size, it made no sound as it plodded its way towards me.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>When it finally got to the opening of the container, the first thing I thought was that the dog was a Tibetan Mastiff given its size. Its shoulders were the same height as my chest and it was comparable in size to a small horse.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But I realised that it looked a little different than the Tibetan Mastiffs that I remember which meant that this was most likely a mixed breed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I had to wrack my brains for a moment to figure what it could probably be mixed with and I figured out that it was most likely a Caucasian Ovcharka Tibetan Mastiff mix.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The dog tilted its head at me, watching me with intelligent eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I couldn’t help myself...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Paw!\" I ordered, raising up my palm towards it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The dog didn’t even hesitate and immediately lifted one of its paws to place it in my palm.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ahhh!! So cute!! Oh my gods!! This doggo is so cute!! I can do this right? It won’t mind right?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I went ahead to hug the giant fluffball and started patting it and running my hands through its soft fur.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ahhhh~ So soft!!
