Chapter 692: Unfair Card Game

"We bet bigger, Flaw sin cannot be used as chips, each base bet is at least 1 unit of Ordinary sin, and every time you draw a card, you must add a bet. The winner takes all, and the loser loses the bet chips."

This also means that winning too much and losing too much will not have a good ending.

After speaking, the old man's palm wiped across the table, and a set of Luo De Pai appeared on the table. Xia De and Mr. Bernhard also took out their own paper cards. Seeing that Sister Feilian was not prepared, Xia De took out his spare paper cards and slid them to the other party's side on the table. The nun thanked him softly.

"The most ordinary rules, after each round, you can add the drawn cards back into the deck. I admit those special rule paper cards, which will make the game more interesting. But here, I also have special cards left by foreign guests from the past."

The old man said, and then fished out a rusty black iron small statue from under the table and placed it on the table.

The spiritual light representing blasphemy almost forced the three of them to move their eyes away immediately. Even Xia De was unwilling to look directly at that statue for a long time. This is an evil god statue, undoubtedly an evil god statue. The statue depicts the image of a fat man with clenched fists and raised arms.

"My base bet, the 3 units of Rare 【Sloth】 contained in this statue of the old god - the spreader of misfortune 【Father of Slumber】. This Great One governs the power of slumber, laziness, sloth, misfortune, and poverty. If any of you win these 3 units of Rare 【Sloth】, it can be regarded as 30 units of Perfect sin."

He pushed the evil god's statue slightly forward:

"This building accommodates too much sin, but Rare-level sin is not something that ordinary flesh can accommodate. The statue of the old god is the best container. May the gods of sin bless me, I think the card game will be very interesting."

Saying that, he drew his first card.

Mr. Armand Bernhard also drew a card immediately:

"My base bet is 1 unit of Ordinary 【Bloodlust】, I stop drawing."

He didn't even look at the content of his bottom card, which meant he gave up this round. After all, what the blood-sucking species wanted was only Perfect-level sin. If he won this round, it would be a bad thing for him.

Sister Feilian hesitated for a moment:

"Base bet 1 unit of Ordinary 【Greed】."

She didn't stop drawing.

Xia De considered that losing the card game was also a good opportunity to reduce sin, so he drew a card and bet:

"1.1 units of Perfect 【Sloth】."

He took out the sin he was forced to obtain in the 【Sin Mansion】.

Glancing at his bottom card, Flower 6, ordinary card.

"Then start drawing the second round, this is the holy emblem pendant of the old god 【Father of Slumber】, containing 1 unit of Rare 【Sloth】."

The master of the mansion took out another black iron pendant and placed it on the table, and then drew the second card.

Xia De looked at Sister Feilian, and the nun shook her head slightly at him:

"1 unit of Ordinary 【Sloth】, stop drawing."

Sister Feilian also gave up this round. Continuing to play was too risky. 4 units of Rare 【Sloth】 was also something she couldn't bear.

"Your method of betting is not fair to us."

Xia De said, but the senile old man just covered his second card. According to the rules, in fact, the card opening of each round is everyone together, so he didn't show Xia De the content of the second card immediately.

Xia De also drew the second card:

"Add bet 0.1 units of Perfect 【Sloth】."

This took out all the 【Sloth】 obtained here, and Xia De's second card was Flower 9 【Legend of the Brave · Bard Fletcher】. Because the previous card was an even-numbered flower suit, it met the special card rule, and the point 9 can be adjusted between 9 and 10.

He added all his special cards to the deck. Although this would let the blood-sucking species Bernhard know who he was, it was better than losing the card game. After all, Xia De also knew Bernhard's true identity.

"My second card is Moon 2 【Steam Mechanical Ship · Roaring Blue Lion】."

The master of the mansion showed the paper card to Xia De, and when he grinned, he revealed his yellow teeth:

"Rule, when 【Steam Mechanical Ship · Roaring Blue Lion】 and 【Steam Mechanical Ship · Silent Red Yorker】 are drawn consecutively, the total points of this round are defaulted to 21 points."

Afterward, he flipped over his bottom card and showed it to Xia De:

"Look, my bottom card is Sun 2, 【Steam Mechanical Ship · Silent Red Yorker】."

He stacked the two paper cards together and placed them on the table with both hands folded:

"Then, do you still want to continue drawing cards?"

Xia De's mouth twitched. He didn't remember the other party shuffling the cards before playing. And even if he shuffled the cards, he was quite sure that the other party definitely cheated.

【Why isn't it good luck?】

"She" asked with a smile in Xia De's ear.

"Looking at the other party's expression, no matter how you look at it, it seems like he is deliberately provoking me."

Xia De was indeed a bit angry, but immediately realized that it was the power of the mansion influencing him, making him more irrational:

"Alright, since he plays cards like this, then don't blame me for not playing seriously with him."

【You want to stuff cards to the opponent again?】

"She" asked with a smile.

"No, it's too low-end."

Xia De also flipped over all his two cards:

"The first card is Flower 6, the second card is Flower 9, totaling 15 points. Continue adding bet, 1 unit of Ordinary 【Lies】."

He flipped over his mask, and Mr. Bernhard on the side looked at him in surprise, not understanding how this person suddenly exposed his identity while playing cards.

"The third card..."

Xia De put his hand on his deck, narrowed his eyes and concentrated, then pulled out the top paper card violently, threw it on the table, and announced the card content:

"Flower 7, 【Genesis · Balance】."

This is using his control over the 【Universal Impermanence Cards】 to directly draw the paper cards he wants. Currently, Xia De can only do this for 【Genesis · Balance】, 【Genesis · Dark】, and 【Southern Folk Customs of Karsenrik · Moon Dance Festival】.

He is a very fair person, so he didn't even use this ability in "City Player". But since the other party played tricks first, Xia De didn't intend to play cards seriously with the other party.

Mr. Bernhard looked at the paper cards on the table and widened his eyes. As someone who carries Luo De Pai with him, he naturally knows the 【Genesis】 series, and even more knows who this 【Genesis · Balance】 should be in the hands of:

"You are..."

"We'll talk about identity later. Look, I'm 22 points, busted. But the rule of 【Genesis · Balance】 is, after busting, discard all paper cards and draw again."

Xia De discarded the three cards in his hand:

"Add bet 1 unit of Ordinary 【Lies】."

His eyes stared tightly at the old man at the other end of the long table, and his hand covered his deck again:

"Perhaps you will think I am cheating, but I have actually received the blessing of the old god 【Noisy Black Hunter】, yes, that is the god of gambling.

Therefore, every draw of mine is destined."

His hand drew a new bottom card, but he didn't hide it, but stood it up directly, covering his left eye. His right eye narrowed slightly, and in his eyes were anger and firmness:

"Star 11 【Genesis · Dark】, when drawing this card, if this card is the first dark card, ignore any rules and conditions and win directly. The winning priority of this card is higher than any other rule, and after redrawing, this is indeed the first dark card. Sorry, this time, I won."

Mr. Bernhard's face showed an expression of wanting to laugh but forcibly holding back, and even Sister Feilian showed a shallow smile at Xia De.

The master of the mansion was obviously stunned, and it took a long time before he sighed softly:

"Good combination, really good combination. So that's it, the rules of Luo De Pai can actually produce such wonderful combinations. I originally thought that two 【Steam Mechanical Ships】 were strong enough."

"Then, do you admit that I won?"

"Of course I admit it, yes, you won 4 units of Rare 【Sloth】, you can leave with the golden pearl earrings. But what you won is only the sin of 【Sloth】 itself. The god's statue and holy emblem as containers still belong to the mansion. So, you need to absorb the sin before you can leave."

The stone figures standing behind him moved, and they took the statue and holy emblem to Xia De's side.

The approach of the evil god's power made even Mr. Bernhard a bit uncomfortable. Xia De didn't want to harm others because of his own reasons, so after getting permission, he changed his seat to the end of the long table facing the master of the mansion.

Contacting the evil god's statue has never been something a wise person should do. The blasphemous elements and the power of the evil god are enough to tempt any strong mind toward madness.

When Xia De was still a 1-ring Shushi, he just took a look at the statue of 【Blood Duke Lauier】 and obtained the miracle of 【Blood Echo】 in the madness of blood. And absorbing the sin contained in the god's statue is obviously a deeper contact with the evil god's power than just taking a look.

He hesitated for a moment, didn't take the risk to directly observe the evil god's statue and holy emblem, but looked up at the master of the mansion at the other end of the table:

"Perhaps, before the next round starts, each of us should reshuffle the cards."

"Do you still want to continue playing?"

The senile old man asked.

"Of course not, I have already achieved my goal. I just hope that my two friends here can participate in the card game more fairly."

Saying that, he divided his deck into two parts and gave them to Mr. Bernhard and Sister Feilian to use. Of course, there were more special cards in the stack given to Sister Feilian, totaling 9, while Mr. Bernhard only had 3.

The two thanked Xia De softly, and then began to shuffle the cards. The master of the mansion

"Please remember the advice I gave you when you meet me while carrying that cat as warm as the sun."

The nun said suddenly. Xia De was puzzled for a moment, then nodded, preparing to absorb the sins within the evil god statue and the holy emblem.
