Complete Afterword

I wrote for two years, and finally it's complete. For me, it's already been a long time to write, with a lot of words.

This is my first time writing a leveling-up novel. I feel leveling up is really troublesome. It's still easier to write an invincible novel without leveling up.

Regarding the update speed and update time of this book, these are things I need to review.

The update speed is really something I can't help. My typing speed is limited, and on top of that, my brain doesn't work well. I can't think of so many plots. I've added extra chapters a few times, which wore me out to the point of exhaustion, almost passing out. After finishing, I'd collapse and sleep. My abilities are limited—I admit my fault.

I've always tried to update as early as possible, but due to real-life influences, I have work during the day and can't type, so I can only update at night.

I also tried updating right after getting off work. The effect was decent—I could try to finish updating before midnight. That lasted until May or June last year.

During that period, I was assigned to patrol the prison. Every morning I'd get up at eight, go to the prison, walk from morning till night, and only return to the dorm to rest at seven in the evening. I was so tired and exhausted I could barely keep my eyes open. I could only sleep for one or two hours, then splash cold water on my face to wake up before continuing to write.

I'd start writing at around nine or nine-thirty at night, keep going until one or two in the morning, then collapse and sleep. At eight in the morning, I'd get up and continue going to the prison.

After that passed for about a month, when I returned to my unit, my routine became hard to readjust, which affected my update time.

I rarely talk about personal life matters. Actually, my family doesn't like me writing books. For this reason, I often argue with my family, which affects my mood. I'm afraid to bring bad emotions into the book, so on those days I'd just take leave.

Of course, not every leave request is due to arguments. Sometimes it's simply because I want to rest—my mind is tense and I really can't bear it.

The preparation for this book was actually rather rushed. I'm someone who's easily influenced by others. After finishing the Nascent Soul stage, readers kept urging me to write more, so I picked up the pen and started this book.

When I first started writing this book, the setting only had two points: one, a handsome fairy who can be resurrected just by shouting her name; two, the contradiction between transcendence and omniscience. All subsequent settings were gradually perfected.

Regarding the setting of the righteous and demonic paths, I initially thought the righteous and demonic paths had equal strength. That way, there would be much to write—Lu Yang could encounter demonic conspiracies, encounter human tragedies, and solve conspiracies, etc.

But then I thought: if the demonic path is so rampant, wouldn't that make the righteous path look useless? So I reduced the demonic path's strength and increased the righteous path's strength.

Yun Zhi and Huang Doudou are my two favorite characters—one is cold outside but hot inside, the other is innocent and romantic. Every time I write about them, my mood improves significantly.

After finishing this book, I plan to lose some weight. Working and writing at the same time has put too much pressure on me. Sitting for long periods has made my body feel overwhelmed. Health is still the most important.

Since writing this book, I've rarely had free time to read books. I'll also take the chance to catch up on reading.

As for side stories, what side stories do you want to see?
