Chapter 1007: Magician Girls

"At this moment, I activate the effect of Berry Magician Girl."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"This effect can only be activated when Berry Magician Girl becomes the target of an opponent's card effect or an opponent's attack target."

"Once per turn, I can change this card's battle position, and then I can Special Summon a new 'Magician Girl' monster from my Deck."

As his voice fell, the Berry girl had already switched from Attack to Defense position. Her small body crouched down, and her staff emitted a defensive magic circle in front of her.

【Berry Magician Girl, ATK 400 → DEF 400】

"Then, I Special Summon 'Apple Magician Girl' from my Deck!"

The Berry girl tapped her staff, and a new magic circle opened in the empty space beside her. Apple-colored magical energy surged out, and a cute girl with snow-white skin and a light outfit stepped out of the circle full of energy, spinning lightly.

【Apple Magician Girl, ATK 1200】

"You used my attack to summon a new Magician Girl?" Fake Luna said, "Is this your goal?"

"But it's useless. My Power Tool now has the ability to attack multiple times!"

"Continuing the attack, first, I'll continue to destroy 'Berry Magician Girl'!"

The attack of Power Tool Dragon did not stop; a thunderous blow pierced through the small Magician Girl. But the girl had already switched to defense. Although the barrier shattered into golden fragments and dissipated, it caused no damage.

"Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes! The second strike!" Fake Luna said, "Continuing the attack on the newly appeared 'Apple Magician Girl'!"

The Machine Dragon struck while the iron was hot; after the first attack ended, the lightning on its arms did not extinguish, but instead converged directly, once again transforming into a ten-thousand-foot thunderbolt that blasted outward.

But this time, it did not go so smoothly.

"Then, I activate the effect of Apple Magician Girl." Fujiki You Xuan said, "When Apple Magician Girl becomes the opponent's attack target, I can Special Summon one Level 5 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan revealed another Spellcaster card in his hand.

"I Special Summon 'Kiwi Magician Girl', which I searched for last turn!"

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand and slammed down another monster card. The magic halo lit up again, and the tall, slender eldest sister of the Magician Girls appeared within the halo, wearing a confident and slightly cunning smile.

【Kiwi Magician Girl, ATK 1800】

Fake Luna frowned in displeasure: "Again... Every time I attack, you summon a new Magician Girl. Is this the characteristic of your Deck?"

"But no matter how many of these monsters come..."

Before he could finish speaking, the steel arm of Power Tool Dragon erupted with blinding blue electric arcs. High-voltage current tore through the air like a thunder snake, lunging straight at Apple Magician Girl. However, the girl with the apple-colored hair accessory leaped lightly, her staff tracing a crystalline trajectory. Precise magic runes like clockwork gears appeared on the instantly expanded transparent magic circle. The moment the current struck the circle, the entire magic circle spun rapidly like a whipped spinning top, flinging the runaway electrical energy along a tangent toward the green-haired Magician Girl, Kiwi.

The latter didn't even look up; she extended her left index finger, and the emerald magic erupting from her fingertip collided with the incoming current. Like playing tennis, she compressed this energy into a scorching white ball of light and swatted it back. The rebounded current beam precisely hit the core on the mechanical dragon's chest. The overloaded energy triggered a chain reaction of explosions. First, the hydraulic oil at the joints ignited, spraying out a fire tornado, and then the steel body shattered, scattering like shrapnel.

In the duel between magic and technology, it was actually Power Tool Dragon, whose ATK was far higher than the Magician Girls, that was blown into pieces.

"Nani!?" Fake Luna was shocked, "Why?"

He was clearly attacking the Apple girl; what was this effect that shifted his attack target to the Kiwi girl like a master of redirection?

And even if the attack target changed, his Power Tool Dragon's ATK was 2800, and the opponent only had 1800; why was it his side that exploded?

"After Apple Magician Girl Special Summons a new Magician Girl, she can force the opponent's attack target to shift to that newly summoned Magician Girl."

Fujiki You Xuan chuckled.

"And in this case, the opponent's attacking monster's ATK is halved." Fake Luna: "!"

The ATK was halved, so the Power Tool Dragon, which originally had 2800 ATK, became 1400, which is why it was defeated by the 1800 ATK Kiwi Magician Girl...

【Leo & Luna, LP 4000 → LP 3200】

"Hmm? There's actually 800 points of damage?"

Fujiki You Xuan raised an eyebrow, then glanced at the furious sun in the sky, suddenly understanding, and laughed: "So that's it, is it the effect of your field?"

Field Spell - Fairy Tale Chapter 2 - Furious Sun. While the Chapter 2 field is on the field, battle damage taken by both players is doubled.

Fujiki You Xuan laughed: "You have to enjoy your own field, hmm, very reasonable."

"Ugh, damn it!" Fake Luna was angry, "To dare to do this to my Power Tool with such petty tricks, remember this!"

Fujiki You Xuan chuckled: "Oh? Is that so?"

Getting angry at just this level, this child's composure is really poor. If we keep playing like this, won't he be so angry he explodes later?

Fake Luna also said coldly: "It's clearly you, Leo, who is too reckless. I already warned you; as expected, a broken scarecrow is a broken scarecrow..."

Fake Luna felt ashamed, feeling unconvinced but not daring to refute his sister.

"I haven't lost yet." Fake Luna said, "I set three cards, turn end!"

"Using the backrow to defend after the Power Tool Dragon was defeated, huh."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"My turn, draw."

He drew a card, glanced at it, and slammed it down directly.

"Normal Summon 'Lemon Magician Girl'."

Lemon-colored light formed a magic circle, and the transparent fluctuation transformed into the image of a Magician Girl. Another cool and cute Magician Girl flapped her transparent wings, blinked, and made a shining entrance.

【Lemon Magician Girl, ATK 800】

"There are no monsters on the front row, so let me test what's in the backrow. Direct attack."

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand.

"First is 'Lemon Magician Girl', attacking the copy Leo and copy Luna directly!"

Although it seemed like he was ignoring the three backrow sets and attacking directly, acting as recklessly as Leo just did, in reality, it was not the case. Fujiki You Xuan's attack here came with built-in resistance.

Kiwi Magician Girl's effect: while this card is on the field, all Spellcaster-Type monsters on your field cannot be destroyed by card effects, nor can they be targeted by the opponent's card effects.

It is the same resistance as Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon," which debuted in the same duel as the Magician Girls in the anime.

All the Magician Girls on Fujiki You Xuan's field possessed this resistance, and at this moment, the total field attack output reached 4200. If this round of total attacks went through, the three Magician Girls could directly beat the twins' butts black and blue.
