Chapter 1016: King's Dragon

While Jack and Copy Yusei were fighting fiercely, it was clear that neither of them knew that this duel was being watched by several top gods in the current dimension.

That fake Zone said lightly when he saw this: "Jack Atlas, I once had expectations for him too. It's just... unfortunately, it seems his limit is just that."

"That's not necessarily true."

You Xuan smiled.

Fake Zone glanced at him sideways: "Oh?"

"I gave him a little inspiration. I don't know what kind of Jack Atlas is in your dimension, but the current Jack might not be confused with the one you know."

Fake Zone stared at him for a while, then said lightly: "Then I'll look forward to what you said a little bit."

"..."

"My turn, draw!"

It was already Jack's turn again.

"Activate Equip Spell 'Premature Burial', pay 800 Life Points, and revive one monster from my Graveyard in Attack Position to the field!

I want to revive Strong Wind Dragon from the Graveyard!"

【Jack, LP 3200 → LP 2400】

Life points were converted into energy and absorbed into the Spell Card. A black vortex opened on the ground. A bright green storm swirled, and the energy reorganized into the form of Strong Wind Dragon and descended.

【Strong Wind Dragon, ATK 2400】

Copy Yusei said lightly: "But the Strong Wind Dragon revived by this effect was not Tribute Summoned by Tributing a Dragon-Type monster, so its ATK returns to its original value. This ATK cannot defeat Junk Berserker."

"Hmph! Do you think I need you to remind me of such a thing?" Jack said, "I then Normal Summon 'Force Resonator'!"

【Force Resonator, ATK 500】

"Level 2, Tuner monster 'Force Resonator'!"

"Level 6, 'Strong Wind Dragon'!"

"Tuning!"

【2+6=8】

Jack closed his eyes gently and clenched his right fist. I saw flames seemingly igniting on his fist, and even the Dragon Mark on his arm began to burn. That power radiated out, carrying a scalding pulse.

His trip to the Red Lotus ruins was not exactly the same as in the anime.

In fact, before leaving, You Xuan specially took Jack to a research institute belonging to the Security Bureau, showing Jack some of their current research status.

The research scope of the institute under the Security Bureau was very wide, covering various Deck types, and even including research on the legend of the Crimson Dragon and the dragons corresponding to the several Signers evolved from the Crimson Dragon.

Of course, Jack, as a pure reckless guy, was obviously not material for scientific research. Like Judai, rather than letting him study in the laboratory, it was more likely that he would print new cards if he fought more duels.

However, You Xuan still used this trip to show Jack the new possibilities of Resonators and Red Dragon Archfiend, hinting at the new forms that Red Dragon Archfiend might evolve into.

Jack indeed did not disappoint him on this trip to the Red Lotus ruins. He successfully conquered the Red Lotus Demon known as the strongest Earthbound Immortal through duels and absorbed the power of the Red Lotus Demon. And taking this as an opportunity, Red Dragon Archfiend evolved into a new form that did not even appear in the 5D's original work.

"The King's roar will now shake the heavens and the earth! Engrave this unique champion power on your body!"

"Synchro Summon! Soul of Fury—"

"—Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight!!!"

In the void, the lava pool boiled and exploded, and the dark red Synchro ring formed a purgatory matrix in the lava. Accompanied by a dragon roar that twisted the air, Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight soared from the boiling lava pillar. Dark red scales like armor all over its body constantly seeped liquid flames from the gaps, and the broken part of its right horn was like it had just been slashed by a divine weapon, the fracture showing a dark golden state in a molten state, and the dripping lava burned into fire meteors during the fall. When it spread its tattered dragon wings, all the splashing lava floated in the air, forming thousands of flame mirrors, each reflecting the scarred right horn, as if declaring that this was the hell overlord who returned across life and death. 【Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight, ATK 3000】

"What?"

A flash of surprise flashed across Copy Yusei's face.

Scarlight?

What is this? Never heard of it?

Even the fake Zone watching the remote live broadcast, and even the genuine Zone, had emotional fluctuations at this moment.

"Red Dragon Archfiend... Scarlight?"

Fake Zone repeated the name muttering.

In any history he knew, Jack Atlas seemed to have never summoned this trump card.

This was natural. Because You Xuan clearly knew that this dragon did not exist in any known timeline in the 5D's dimension. This dragon was born in a different dimension, and was the trump card used by Jack Atlas in a parallel world in the fifth installment of Yu-Gi-Oh, "Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V".

That genuine Zone glanced at You Xuan in surprise: "Is it your intervention that created the birth of this new Red Dragon Archfiend?"

"Who knows." You Xuan shrugged, "I just hinted at a possible direction, but this power was won by Jack Atlas with his own strength."

Zone stopped talking.

Youxuan Fujiki, this person had only appeared in this dimension for a short time, but he created new possibilities that did not exist in any timeline in the original history so lightly.

Although this Red Dragon Archfiend might have a negligible impact on history, the ease of creating possibilities that did not exist in the original timeline was enough to move Zone.

Could it be that this guy named Youxuan Fujiki hides the possibility of changing the future?

"..."

"Now let you see, the incarnation of my furious soul, the anger of Red Dragon Archfiend!"

Jack shouted.

"Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight, effect activates!"

"Once per turn, destroy all Special Summoned Effect Monsters on the field except this card!"

Copy Yusei frowned: "Full field destruction?"

Compared to the original Red Dragon Archfiend's effect, this could be described as a bird gun changing into a cannon, not at all an ability of the same magnitude.

Jack waved his hand: "Absolute Authority Flame!!!"

The broken right horn of Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight suddenly erupted with blinding molten light. It raised its head and let out a roar that tore through space, and dark red fire streams erupted from the gaps in its scales, instantly condensing into fire clouds that covered the sky above.

The moment it waved its dragon claws, thousands of fire meteors poured down like a rainstorm. Heavy Warrior's rock armor melted the moment it touched the flames, while Junk Berserker's serrated giant blade twisted and deformed like a candle. Both figures struggled in the sea of fire for less than half a second before being completely decomposed by the flames containing the dragon's anger. Heavy Warrior turned into scattered iron sand, and Berserker's red armor exploded into a sky full of sparks, those gear parts vaporizing into crimson metal mist during the fall.

"It's not over yet," Jack laughed proudly, "And for every monster destroyed by this effect, deal 500 points of damage!

Take the anger of the King's Dragon!"

【Copy Yusei, LP 4000 → LP 3000】
