Chapter 1031

"Sandaion, the Timelord's attack!"

The attack of the strongest Timelord below the ultimate. It raised its right fist covered with golden light, and the entire time and space seemed to freeze at this moment. The moment the fist fell, countless translucent golden ripples exploded in a fan shape. In the deafening metal roar, the subsequent ripples formed a three-meter-high golden tsunami, sweeping towards Brionac with mighty force.

If it were the physical card version of Sandaion, the Timelord, although it could destroy the opponent's monster by battle, its battle could not cause battle damage to either side. But the original anime version is different. The Sandaion in the anime does not cause battle damage to its own side, but it can cause damage to the opponent.

This is not all. Sandaion also has another key effect that makes it known as the strongest Timelord.

"The monster effect of Sandaion, the Timelord." The fake Zone said, "When this card battles, deal 4000 points of damage directly to the opponent!" (Original effect)

Dealing 4000 points of damage directly, even in the 8000 LP environment in reality, this effect's damage was reduced to 2000 points. In the 4000 LP environment in the anime, it means that as long as this Timelord punches, the opponent can be taken away directly.

If you really released this thing in a Yu-Gi-Oh game with a 4000 LP environment according to the anime effect, it wouldn't be a question of whether it's too broken, it's purely a fake card.

However, game design in reality needs to consider balance issues, and there is no such thing as balance in the anime. Just like in a fantasy novel, a master practices peerless martial arts and becomes a generation of masters, and the world will respect and admire him, and no one with a brain will blame his martial arts for being too broken and destroying the balance of the world.

Holding powerful cards in this world is a symbol of strength, and Zone's ability to develop such broken cards is proof of his strength.

Of course, Fujiki You Xuan also had countermeasures: "Then activate the set card, Synchro Barrier. Tribute a Synchro monster on my field, and until the end of the next turn, all battle and effect damage I take becomes 0."

Brionac's body immediately disintegrated, turning into an ice crystal barrier nested in layers. The Timelord's punch hit the barrier, and the fist power and energy tide were all blocked by the barrier.

"I guess that counts as blocking it. Then turn end."

The fake Zone said lightly.

"But you have also lost Brionac. Now do you still have the power to fight the Timelords?"

The implication seemed to be saying that your Abyss Soldier was solved, and Brionac was also solved. Can you still bounce my Timelord?

But Fujiki You Xuan smiled: "I see you don't understand at all."

"What?"

"Nothing... just discovered that you still haven't realized why this Water-attribute deck is the absolute worst opponent for your Timelords, even now..."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled lightly.

"My turn, draw."

"In the Standby Phase of this turn, the effects of the two Killer Snakes in the Graveyard activate again. Both Killer Snakes return to the hand."

"Then activate the Spell Card 'Card of Adversity'."

"When the opponent has a Special Summoned monster and there are no monsters on my field, draw two cards from the deck."

Fujiki You Xuan drew cards again, and then directly played another frog.

"Normal Summon 'Swap Frog'."

【Swap Frog, ATK 100】

Before it was Swap Frog, now it is Swap Frog. There is a one-character difference in the name, and the effects are different: one is to fly a frog out of the deck, and the other is to swap a frog from the Graveyard to the field.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then when there is a Water-attribute monster of level 3 or lower on my field, discard a card from my hand, and Special Summon 'Fishborg Blaster' from the Graveyard again!"

【Fishborg Blaster, ATK 100】

"Then activate the effect of Swap Frog. Tribute a Sea-Serpent monster on my field, and Special Summon a 'Frog' from the Graveyard. I Tribute 'Swap Frog' itself and Special Summon 'Des Frog' from the Graveyard!"

【Des Frog, ATK 1900】

"Then the effect of 'Ronintoadin' in my hand, Ronintoadin can be Special Summoned by discarding a Water-attribute monster from my hand."

"Special Summon 'Ronintoadin' from my hand!"

【Ronintoadin, ATK 1000】

"Then another effect of Ronintoadin, once per turn, you can return a monster on your field to your hand, and you can add a Normal Summon of a Frog monster from your hand in addition to your Normal Summon this turn."

"I return 'Ronintoadin' itself to my hand, and I can add one Normal Summon of a Frog this turn."

The Ronintoadin that had just appeared returned to Fujiki You Xuan's hand, and Fujiki You Xuan showed another frog in his hand.

"Normal Summon 'Dupe Frog'!"

【Dupe Frog, ATK 1200】

"Level 1, Tuner monster 'Fishborg Blaster'!"

"Level 5, 'Des Frog'!"

"Level 3, 'Dupe Frog'!"

"Tune!"

【1+3+5=9】

"The sacred spear released by the God of Destruction, pierce through the city of magic now! Synchro Summon—"

"—Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

The night sky was suddenly torn apart by silver-white aurora, and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier descended from the blizzard vortex. The three dragon heads let out a long roar at the same time, and the sound waves condensed countless ice crystals in the clouds. Its flapping wings set off a hurricane-like snowstorm, the temperature seemed to drop to below zero, and the falling snowflakes refracted prism-like halos in the moonlight, actually freezing into floating ice thorn arrays in mid-air.

【Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, ATK 2700】

"The effect of Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier: when Synchro Summoned, banish up to one card each from the opponent's hand, field, and Graveyard."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"Then banish one random card from your hand, 'Sandaion, the Timelord' on the field, and the Continuous Trap 'Empty Machine' in the Graveyard, all from the game."

Trishula's three dragon heads suddenly raised, and the ice crystals condensed dazzling blue light in their throats. The extreme cold breath sprayed by the left dragon head hit the Timelord directly, the golden mechanical body was instantly covered with frost patterns, and the gear rotation sound stopped abruptly; the middle dragon head dived down, and the cold air broke through the void directly to the underworld, freezing the trap card into a transparent ice coffin; the right dragon head randomly locked onto the opponent's mechanical arm, and the cold mist sprayed condensed into chain-like shapes in the air, sealing the drawn card in a floating hexagonal ice pillar.

The three cards were instantly frozen, and only the fine cracking sound of ice crystal growth echoed in the night sky.

The invincible Timelord fell again.

This time it was not bounced back to the hand, but banished directly. It bypassed the destruction resistance again.

After this whole game, the invincible ability of the Timelord series to "not be destroyed in any form" was really like a decoration, with no use at all.

Then this time Fujiki You Xuan also conveniently banished the Continuous Trap "Empty Machine" in the Graveyard, ensuring that this card could not be recovered and reused. In this way, the fake Zone's Timelord trap trilogy was even more impossible to activate, and the Ultimate Timelord was even more impossible to summon in this life.

"Alright, it's time for the curtain to fall." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, attack this copy of Mr. Zone directly."

Trishula's triple dragon roar shattered the clouds, and the three dragon heads reared back to store power at the same time. When the ice torrent erupted, three spiral auroras intertwined into a destructive frost torrent in the night sky. The shell of the fake Zone's nautilus floating device was instantly covered with spider-web-like frost patterns, and the crisp sound of precision parts being frozen and cracked was like a death countdown.

【Fake Zone, LP 1700 -> LP 0】
