Chapter 1051

No. 17 Leviathan Dragon, summoned!

【No. 17 Leviathan Dragon, ATK 2000】

Leviathan Dragon, although it is not very strong among Xyz monsters, it has special significance. After all, this is the first difficulty encountered by the anime protagonist Yuma Tsukumo, and it is also the first Number monster to appear in the history of the anime.

Xyz monsters descended into this dimension for the first time. At this moment, the number 17 appeared on Mr. T's body, and the few people on the field who possessed extraordinary power could immediately perceive that this person's aura had surged.

At this time, Jaden's eyes had already turned into the golden pupils of the Supreme King. Through these eyes, he could see that Leviathan Dragon was continuously pouring power into Mr. T's body. In Jaden's field of vision, Mr. T looked as if his whole body was burning.

"What's going on?" Jaden was surprised, "What Xyz, what number, and this power..."

He frowned slightly.

It's not that the power of this mere Leviathan Dragon is outrageously strong, Jaden has seen stronger bosses, and he can be considered a person who has seen big storms.

It's just that this monster with a number in its name seems to contain some other things, not pure power, but some strange attributes he has never seen in anyone or any spirit before.

And this attribute made him feel instinctively that something was wrong.

"Then let me borrow the power of the Xyz monster, No. 17 Leviathan Dragon's effect activates!"

Mr. T shouted.

"Leviathan Dragon, once per turn, can increase its attack power by 500 points by removing one Xyz material from this card!"

Xyz monsters are different from Synchro and Fusion. The monsters used as summoning materials will not be sent to the Graveyard immediately, but will continue to overlap at the bottom of the Xyz monster.

And Xyz monsters can activate specific abilities by removing the Xyz materials under them.

I saw Leviathan Dragon bite off one of the two light balls surrounding it, and the dissipated light ball immediately turned into energy and poured into Leviathan Dragon's body. Leviathan Dragon's power increased in an instant.

"Battle!" Mr. T said, "No. 17 Leviathan Dragon, attack 'Jetroid'!"

Leviathan Dragon suddenly raised its head, and the biological core light lit up deep in its throat. With a high-frequency trembling roar, the compressed liquid energy erupted from its serrated teeth, like an annihilation torrent like the abyss sea.

"Feel the power of No, and then be destroyed!" Mr. T laughed.

"No, huh, it's indeed a bit tricky in the anime version." You Xuan smiled.

There is a setting in the anime that "No can only be defeated by No", that is, all monsters with numbers in their names cannot be destroyed by battle by monsters other than numbers.

If it is just a battle destruction resistance, it is not very amazing, but if it is a group resistance of a whole series, then this is equivalent to an additional benefit, which is naturally more tricky.

But this is limited to battle destruction resistance, and card effects still have to be accepted.

You Xuan snapped his fingers: "Activate set card, Trap Card 'Causality Cut'!"

Jaden's eyes lit up: "Oh oh, You Xuan's Causality Cut appeared!"

"Causality Cut can banish one face-up monster on the field from the game by discarding one card from the hand," You Xuan said, "Banish Leviathan Dragon from the game!"

The sky above the space suddenly cracked open a transparent gap, and endless gravity absorbed Leviathan Dragon into it, as if an invisible big hand was going to drag it into it.

"Even if it's a Number monster, it can't resist trap banishment." You Xuan chuckled.

Mr. T frowned slightly.

This guy... Xyz and Number concepts should have appeared for the first time in this dimension, why does this Fujiki You Xuan's tone seem like he knows it very well?

But Mr. T was not afraid, and said: "Then at this moment, activate set card, Trap Card 'Trap Nullification'!

After this card is activated, until the end of the turn, the effects of all Trap Cards except this card are negated!"

Mr. T pointed directly at You Xuan's field. "Negate the activation of that Trap Card 'Causality Cut'!"

The trap shattered, the vortex opened in the sky closed immediately, and disappeared into nothingness. The gravity disappeared immediately, and Leviathan Dragon's attack had no obstruction, and blasted straight toward You Xuan's field.

"You have two moves." You Xuan smiled, "However, negation must be after 'Causality Cut' takes effect, and the trap activated can be negated. But now this chain hasn't ended yet."

Mr. T's expression changed slightly, and he said in a deep voice: "Not bad, if you continue to chain 'Trap Nullification' to activate traps now, then the subsequently activated traps can indeed be unaffected and continue to take effect. However..."

He said with a grin, provocatively.

"You don't have any set cards on your field now, you have to look at the situation if you want to bluff, right?"

The implication is, can you still pull a trap out of your pants to counter-kill me?

However, the next moment You Xuan told him, hello, you can.

"Activate Trap Card 'Prideful Roar' from hand!"

You Xuan played a card directly, and Mr. T's face changed suddenly: "Nani?"

Activate Trap Card from hand?

"When Jetroid becomes an attack target, you can activate a Trap Card from your hand."

You Xuan explained, and at the same time, the little jet on the field also showed a proud look on its face.

"Chi, another little trick like this..." Mr. T was unhappy.

"The effect of Prideful Roar: during damage calculation, if your monster's attack power is lower than the opponent's monster, pay the basic points of the difference in attack power to activate. Only during damage calculation, your monster's attack power increases by the difference in attack power + 300."

Mr. T: "Leviathan Dragon's attack power is 2500, and Jetroid is 1200..."

"Not bad." You Xuan said, "Therefore, I pay the life points of the difference in attack power between the two sides, and let Jetroid's attack power increase!"

【You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 2700】

【Jetroid, ATK 1200 → ATK 2800】

Counter-kill in one breath!

Jetroid's attack power instantly counter-killed, the small jet suddenly held its head high, shot back two missiles, and blasted on Leviathan Dragon with a bang. The exploding fireball immediately wrapped Leviathan Dragon in it, looking as if Leviathan Dragon had been blown into fragments in it.

【Mr. T, LP 4000 → LP 3700】

"Great!"

Jaden said.

"In this way, the ominous monster was defeated!"

However, after hearing this, Mr. T just hummed and laughed strangely.

Mr. T: "Is that really the case?"

"What?"

The next moment, everyone saw that after the smoke screen dissipated, Leviathan Dragon behind the smoke screen still stood, as if it had not suffered any injuries at all.

Chazz: "Why? It should have been... by You Xuan's trap."

Mr. T laughed loudly: "Then let me be merciful and tell you! 'No' monsters can only be defeated by 'No' monsters, and cannot be destroyed by battle by any other monsters!"
