Chapter 1085: Inzektor One-Turn Kill

"Dragonfly's effect, I equip 'Inzektor Hornet' from the Graveyard to Dragonfly."

Fujiki You Xuan showed Hornet.

Although it was not summoned to the field, the image of a warrior wearing wasp-style exoskeleton armor projected from the card he showed. It was just that this warrior appeared in the Spell/Trap zone, and instantly changed from armored human form to a hand-held wasp weapon, falling into Dragonfly's hands as equipment.

Kite frowned: "Equipping a monster as an Equip Card?"

"Not bad, being able to appear as a warrior or transform into a weapon as equipment, this is the soul of Inzektor." Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

Do you understand the gold content of insect cyborgs?

"The effect of 'Inzektor Hornet' while being used as an Equip Card is that the equipped monster's level increases by 3, and its Attack and Defense increase by the values of Hornet itself.

Inzektor Hornet's Attack is 500, so Dragonfly's Attack increases by 500."

【Inzektor Dragonfly, Attack 1000 → Attack 1500】

Jonouchi: "Damn, even if the Attack increases, it's still not as good as that Number?"

Kite was not optimistic at all: "Wrong, your goal is not the mere 500 Attack. This combination still hides other hidden abilities, right?"

"So sharp." Fujiki You Xuan said, "The effect of Inzektor Hornet. When it is in an equipped state, you can destroy any one card on the field by sending this card to the Graveyard!"

Dragonfly's mechanical wings behind her vibrated at high frequency, and the armor layer of the Hornet weapon on her right arm unfolded layer by layer, revealing a honeycomb-structured launcher. Following the harsh charging sound, Hornet turned into a wasp-shaped missile wrapped in high-voltage current and whistled out. The Illumiknight tried to block it with his sword, but it was completely in vain. Hornet hit the knight's breastplate, sparking gorgeous plasma. The Number 10 serial number melted in the high temperature, and the warhorse turned into light particles and dissipated in a cry.

"Using Hornet's effect, and not battle destruction, so even 'Number' monsters can be destroyed." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "If you think 'Number' shouldn't be so easy to solve on the field, then you might be disappointed."

Kite frowned and said nothing.

Indeed, he didn't expect "Number" to fall so quickly. It seems that the opponent is already very familiar with and good at dealing with the general resistance of Numbers, and is not an opponent to be underestimated.

"It's not over yet. Just now, when blowing up your card, the effect of Hornet as equipment was activated." Fujiki You Xuan said, "At the same time, now that the equipment is sent to the Graveyard, Dragonfly's effect is also triggered.

Inzektor Dragonfly, when the equipment card on itself is sent to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon a 'Inzektor' monster other than 'Inzektor Dragonfly' from my deck!"

Kite: "!"

Hornet's effect can actively send to the Graveyard to blow up cards, and at the

However, what Kaito did not know was that what he was seeing was only half of the basic combo for Inzektor.

Fujiki You Xuan's operations continued: "Based on the effect of Dragonfly, I Special Summon 'Inzektor Centipede' from my Deck!"

The golden light shooting out from the Deck landed on the ground, transforming into a new Inzektor warrior. His entire body was covered in dark red segmented armor, with serrated barbs growing along the edge of each plate, emitting a teeth-gritting metallic friction sound as he moved. A pair of giant centipede pincers were covered in spirally arranged cutting teeth on the inside, venting high-pressure steam as they opened and closed.

【Inzektor Centipede, ATK 1600】

Kaito frowned: "Another new Inzektor."

"Activating Centipede's effect," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, during my Main Phase, I can choose one 'Inzektor' monster from my hand or Graveyard to equip to Inzektor Centipede as an Equip Card.

I will once again equip 'Inzektor Hornet' from my Graveyard to Centipede."

Hornet, who had just performed a suicide attack to trade one-for-one with No. 10 Illumiknight, was fished out of the Graveyard again, transforming into equipment and attaching to Centipede.

"Equipping Hornet from the Graveyard again?" Kaito's expression shifted slightly. "That card's effect is..." "Correct."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"Since Hornet has been re-equipped to the field, the Hornet acting as equipment can once again utilize its effect.

By sending the equipped Hornet to the Graveyard, I destroy one card on the field."

Ammunition reloaded, Hornet's armament struck a second time, launching once more from the hands of its companion like a projectile. A golden afterimage trailed through the air, heading straight for one of the two face-down cards in Kaito's back row.

"Destroyed my 'No.', and now aiming for my face-down card... Trying to completely dismantle my defense before launching an all-out attack?"

Kaito said in a deep voice.

"Then I activate my face-down card, the Trap Card 'Pan Duola's Treasure'!

When a card in my Spell & Trap Zone becomes the target of an opponent's card effect, I transfer that target to this card, then I draw two cards from my Deck!" (Original card)

The Hornet flying midway suddenly turned, crashing headlong into Pan Duola's Treasure and shattering it. Kaito took the opportunity to draw two cards.

"I see, you have countermeasures set in the back row against destruction," Fujiki You Xuan nodded slightly. "Not bad."

Kaito: "..."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and continued: "Then next is the effect of 'Inzektor Centipede'.

When an Equip Card on Centipede is sent to the Graveyard, Centipede's effect also triggers; I can add one 'Inzektor' card from my Deck to my hand.

What I want to add to my hand from my Deck is 'Inzektor Giga-Mantis'."

Fujiki You Xuan revealed the card he had searched to his hand.

Kaito gritted his teeth.

Here it comes again. Destroying my cards, and he can still search...

Two destructions by Hornet in one turn, and both destructions triggered a Special Summon from the Deck and a search respectively. This smooth little combo created a massive resource gap on the very first turn.

"Next, the effect of 'Inzektor Giga-Mantis'," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Giga-Mantis can be equipped directly from my hand to an 'Inzektor' monster on my field as an Equip Card.

I equip 'Giga-Mantis' to 'Inzektor Dragonfly'."

The giant green Inzektor warrior appeared on the field, its form rapidly deforming in mid-air into an armed state, landing in Dragonfly's hands.

"The monster equipped with Inzektor Giga-Mantis has its original ATK changed to 2400, the same as Giga-Mantis."

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 1000 → ATK 2400】

Kaito: "!"

Dragonfly's ATK became 2400, Centipede's ATK is 1600; combined, they provide exactly 4000 output.

This formation is...
