Chapter 1209

The warhorse covered in white armor, with crystalline steel wings spread out behind it. The Master Tianma circled in the air, but when it looked at Dumon, there was no hostility or fighting spirit in its eyes, but it seemed to have endless nostalgia and rich sorrow.

And this sorrow seemed to be contagious, passing through its eyes into Dumon's eyes.

Dumon's body swayed, kneeling on the ground, shocked in his heart.

"Wh-what's going on?" Dumon couldn't quite look directly at the Master Tianma, "Why does my heart hurt so much? This pain, and the faint throbbing in my brain, as if something is about to come out..."

Astral said: "Yuma, he seems to have really reacted."

"Y-yeah," Yuma nodded and said, "Looks like You Xuan was right, the Number of the ruins is indeed useful to him."

But at the same time, Yuma was increasingly confused in his heart.

In that case, this Barian was really that hero in the legend. But wasn't that legend supposed to be human...?

The more he thought, the less he understood. But Yuma himself was not the type good at using his brain, so he simply stopped thinking about it and continued: "Good! Then first activate the effect of 'Number 44: Sky Master Tianma'!

Once per turn, detach one Xyz Material, I can destroy one monster on the opponent's field! However, the opponent can also choose to pay 500 LP to negate this effect." (Anime effect)

This effect was changed to paying 1000 LP in the physical card game, which was more in line with the 8000 LP environment of the physical card game.

"So that's it, either pay LP or have the monster destroyed," Dumon frowned, "Then I choose not to pay LP and accept Sky Master Tianma's destruction effect!"

The white Master Tianma was enveloped in holy light, the Number representing Dumon's past, launching a fateful sprint towards the over-100 Number representing the Barian curse!

"Then I activate Noble Demon's effect!" Dumon said, "When CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon is about to be destroyed by battle or effect, detach all Xyz Materials from this card to negate its own destruction!"

The two Xyz Materials on the fallen angel turned into purple light and dissipated into a barrier, blocking the desperate charge of the Master Tianma. The moment the Master Tianma's holy light hit the purple barrier, the energy of light and Chaos exploded, blasting towards Yuma himself.

"And after this effect is activated," Dumon added, "Inflict damage to the opponent equal to Noble Demon's ATK, which is 2900 points!"

Yuma was startled: "Eh!?"

Boom—

Yuma was instantly blown away, rolling twice and falling face down on the ground.

【Yuma, LP3000 -> LP100】

"Ouch, ouch, ouch, damn it," Yuma gritted his teeth, "Did you choose to accept the Master Tianma's destruction effect just for this damage? I was played..."

Astral, however, was still calmly crossing his arms: "No, this is fine, Yuma. We're going to win."

Yuma patted the dust off his body and stood up, responding: "Oh!"

As he spoke, he raised his arm high.

"Number 39: Utopia, when my LP is 1000 or less, I can re-overlay using Utopia as Xyz Material!"

As he spoke, Utopia was already enveloped in golden light, sinking into the Chaos vortex.

"Chaos Xyz Change! Appear, the messenger who turns Chaos into light, CNumber 39: Utopia Ray!!!"

Instantly completing the Chaos Xyz Change, the transformed Utopia Ray pulled out the great sword on its back, the faceplate opened, the Chaos aura and the light of hope intertwined, descending with domineering and unparalleled pressure.

【CNumber 39: Utopia Ray, ATK 2500】

"Actually a Chaos Xyz Change!" Dumon narrowed his eyes, "No need for Barian's Force, no need for Rank-Up-Magic to directly Chaos-ize. As expected, just like the rumors..." Yuma: "Next, activate the other effect of 'Number 44: Sky Master Tianma'!

This card can be equipped to a 'Number' monster on my field!" (Anime effect)

Thus, the Master Tianma seemed to transform into armor, and Utopia Ray flew up and straddled the back of the armored warhorse, holding a great sword, like a general about to charge into battle.

Dumon's face changed slightly: "Equipping the Number of the ruins as equipment?"

For some reason, although he didn't understand what connection he had with this Master Tianma, looking at others riding this horse made him feel inexplicably irritable and restless...

"Then the effect of Utopia Ray! Detach one Xyz Material, increase its own ATK by 500, and decrease one monster on the opponent's field by 1000 ATK!"

Yuma and Astral said in unison.

"We detach all three materials of Utopia Ray, increase Utopia Ray's ATK by 1500, and decrease 'CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon's' ATK by 3000!"

【CNumber 39: Utopia Ray, ATK 2500 -> ATK 4000】

【CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon, ATK 2900 -> ATK 0】

"Noble Demon's ATK has been turned to 0!?" Dumon was shocked.

Instantly entering the familiar kill rhythm of Yuma and Astral!

"Go, Utopia Ray! Attack 'CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon'!"

The Master Tianma flapped its wings, holy white light, drifting stars, seemed to intertwine with Utopia Ray's golden sword light, the horse's hooves stepped on the air, the wings flapped in the air, carrying that shining star to launch a desperate slash!

"Activate Set card, Trap Card 'Guard Barrier'!" Dumon said, "Make one battle damage 0, then draw one card from my Deck!"

At this time, Noble Demon had no more Xyz Materials to negate destruction and could not protect itself. And since the opponent was also a Number, the noble "Number cannot be destroyed by battle" resistance was also useless.

Utopia Ray slashed down with one sword, and the fallen angel with over 100 number shattered under the sword light.

"Ahhh—"

Clearly there was no battle damage, but Dumon felt heart-wrenching pain.

He knelt on the ground, clutching his head, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"How... what is this?"

This pain, deep sorrow, was as if it had hit his heart directly through the blow carried by the Master Tianma. Countless memory fragments that he felt didn't belong to him flooded in, the companions of the kingdom, the experience of rebellion, the hero in the legend who was betrayed by companions and died with his beloved horse...

Dumon knelt on the ground clutching his head: "Could it be that all of this... is true..."

"It worked, Yuma!" Astral said.

"Good!" Yuma said, "Then the final blow, wake up, Barian!

The effect of Number 44: Sky Master Tianma! A 'Number' equipped with this card can attack twice during one Battle Phase!"

Dumon was shocked: "What did you say!?"

"Go, this is the final blow!" Yuma shouted, "Hope Sword Sky Master Tianma Sky Slash!!!"

The final sword, the domineering sword energy swept across the waist, disappearing as fast as lightning under the blessing of the white Master Tianma.

But strangely, this 4000 ATK kill slash passed, but Dumon didn't feel any pain.

Instead, he felt... warm?

【Dumon, LP4000 -> LP0】
