Chapter 1213

"The effect of the Spell Card 'Return!', I'm taking back Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!"

Kite said, raising his right arm high. One could see Galaxy-Eyes on Fujiki You Xuan's field covered in starlight, and thousands of stars swirled into a galaxy-like vortex, and Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's entire body disintegrated in it bit by bit.

Then the disintegrated starlight gathered towards Kite's half of the field again, conjuring the noble dragon again. The galaxy vortex swirled in those hollow eyes, and the dragon's roar carried anger and pride.

【Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, ATK 3000】

"My Galaxy-Eyes, I'll take it back!" Kite shouted.

"Oh, as expected of Kite!" Yuma said, "Instantly took back his Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!"

"And that's not all." Astral said, "In this way, Fujiki You Xuan lost 2000 life points in vain, and his field became empty.

Conversely, Kite saved the resources needed to search for and adjust Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, as well as the monsters needed for summoning, saving a huge amount of resources. In this way, as long as he launches an attack next..."

"Is it Kite's win?" Yuma was surprised, "But this is only the first turn... will it be that easy?"

Astral didn't speak, but his heart was the same as Yuma's. He turned to look at Fujiki You Xuan silently.

Yes, would you really let the duel end so easily? Or do you still have some unexpected means hidden?

Kite, who had taken back Galaxy-Eyes, did not immediately launch an offensive, but played another card from his hand: "Next, I Normal Summon this card from my hand, Photon Slasher!"

Flowing photon energy gathered on the field into metal battle armor, and silver-white and green armor covered a burly warrior. The warrior held the handle tightly, and metal structures popped out from both sides, looking like a double-headed hammer weapon.

【Photon Slasher, ATK 2000】

"Are you ready to repent!?" Kite shouted, "Go, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, let him see the true power of Galaxy-Eyes!

Destruction Photon Stream!"

The thick photon vortex gathered from endless starlight churned in the dragon's throat, turning into a huge transparent star-light sphere flowing into its mouth.

Galaxy-Eyes let out a roar, and the transparent photon stream exploded, the terrifying impact light stream rushing towards Fujiki You Xuan, reflecting his smiling face into a pale color.

"Ending so quickly is too boring." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Then activate set card, Trap Card 'Destruction Sword Memories'!"

"Destruction Sword?"

Kite was puzzled in his heart, and his brain immediately flashed with a certain classic old monster "Buster Blader," which was said to be a swordsman specializing in slaying dragons. But that seemed to be an antique from a whole generation ago, and hadn't been heard of in this dimension for many years.

"Destruction Sword Memories, can only be activated by discarding a Destruction Sword card from my hand." Fujiki You Xuan sent a card from his hand to the Graveyard, "I can Special Summon one 'Buster Blader' monster from my deck!

Come, Special Summon 'Buster Blader' from the deck!"

The trap took effect, the sword energy came before the person, and the crescent-shaped transparent sword energy slashed domineeringly from the Trap Card. The blue armor wrapped the swordsman, and the sword emitted a sharp murderous aura, especially when seeing the dragon he was facing, the sword seemed to tremble spontaneously, as if excited, and as if thirsty, thirsty for the blood of the dragon race.

【Buster Blader, ATK 2600】

"Tsk, it really is this thing." Kite said in a deep voice, "You said you didn't use full strength last time, is the so-called full strength just fighting with this kind of antique?"

"Old? Young people today are really rude." Fujiki You Xuan shook his finger, "This should be called a classic.

Buster Blader's effect, this card's attack power increases by 500 points for each Dragon-type monster on the opponent's field and Graveyard."

Astral explained: "Now Kite has the Dragon-type 'Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon' on his field, Buster Blader's attack power will increase by 500." 【Buster Blader, ATK 2600 -> ATK 3100】

Yuma: "Oh oh, attack power surpassed Galaxy-Eyes!"

But Kite was completely unmoved: "Battle continues! Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, continue to attack 'Buster Blader'!"

Yuma was surprised: "Eh? Attack power is insufficient but still attacking..."

"Yuma," Astral reminded, "Have you forgotten the effect of 'Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon'?"

At this moment, Kite had already opened his mouth: "The effect of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is, when battling an opponent's monster, banish all battling monsters from the game until the end of the turn!

I banish the battling 'Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon' and 'Buster Blader' from the game!"

Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon began to shine all over, the light of the galaxy shone on the whole field, covering Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, and also covering Fujiki You Xuan's Buster Blader.

"Right!" Yuma realized, "If both monsters are banished from the game, Fujiki You Xuan's field will become empty again. Then Kite has Photon Slasher's direct attack..."

"Yes, because Fujiki You Xuan activated 'Tribute Burial', his life points are only 2000." Astral said, "It looks like a quick victory."

Kite shouted: "Got you!"

But at this lightning-fast moment, Fujiki You Xuan calmly flipped over the second set card in the back row: "Then, this set card also activates.

Quick-Play Spell 'Destruction Sword Fusion'!"

The second set card flipped, and a golden light of fusion magic was released from the Quick-Play Spell, covering Fujiki You Xuan and Kite.

Kite: "What? Fusion!?"

At this moment when the battle occurred?

Kite was suspicious, and Fujiki You Xuan smiled and explained: "Destruction Sword Fusion can send fusion material monsters from my hand, field, or the opponent's field to the Graveyard, and perform a Fusion Summon for a 'Buster Blader' Fusion monster!"

Kite: "?"

His first reaction was that he had misheard.

Fusion material from the opponent's field...?

Can these two phrases be put together?

Obviously, for the Xyz-based ZEXAL dimension, Fusion was originally a somewhat cold way of summoning, and this kind of thing that wasn't too rare in the GX dimension was still a bit dimensional for the simple Xyz people.

But it didn't matter, Fujiki You Xuan brought them a little Fusion shock today.

"That's right, so I want to send 'Buster Blader' from my field, and 'Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon' from your field to the Graveyard as fusion materials, and perform a Fusion Summon!"

Fujiki You Xuan raised his arm.

"The fusion condition is Buster Blader plus any Dragon-type monster!

When the dragon-slaying swordsman obtains the power of the strongest dragon race, the ultimate dragon-slaying sword will appear here! Fusion Summon—

—Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!!!"
