Chapter 1236: Let me move

Flying "C", destroyed!

Vector instantly felt proud and elated, wishing he could roar to the sky.

Finally! Finally got rid of this disgusting thing!

Although the duel was not over, he felt a joy as if he had already won in this instant.

But this bit of joy was immediately diluted by the other party's punchable performance.

"Finally solved 'C', impressive, impressive, not easy."

Fujiki You Xuan clapped his hands.

Vector: "..."

"But my Battle Phase is not over yet, then I use 'Traptrix Myrmeleo' to attack one of the 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp' on your field."

This attack went through smoothly, destroying the Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp in Defense Position.

"Turn end." Fujiki You Xuan made a gesture of invitation, "Come on, show me what you have that is different."

"Just what I intended!" Vector shouted angrily, "My turn, draw card!"

After drawing the card, Vector waved his hand and first flipped the card he had set on his field in the last turn.

"I Flip Summon this card set in face-down Defense Position on my field, Gravekeeper's Spy!"

【Gravekeeper's Spy, ATK 1200】

"Gravekeeper's Spy can Special Summon a Gravekeeper monster with 1500 or less ATK from the deck." Vector said, "I Special Summon 'Gravekeeper's Assassin' from the deck!"

【Gravekeeper's Assassin, ATK 1500】

Fujiki You Xuan supported his chin: "There are also Gravekeeper-themed cards."

But it looks like it's similar to a tech card; the few low-level Gravekeepers also belong to non-rare common cards.

"Then Normal Summon 'Serpent-Headed Hellhound'!"

Vector played another card, and a vicious dog that seemed to come from hell was summoned to the field. It's just that from that image, it's probably hard to judge whether the dog attribute is more or the snake part is more.

It looked like a dog in size, but the dog had three heads, not dog heads but three snake heads, with six demon eyes emitting yellow light, sharp fangs, and three mouths all spitting snake tongues in unison.

【Serpent-Headed Hellhound, ATK 1300】

"Serpent-Headed Hellhound's effect: when this card is successfully Summoned, make the Levels of all monsters on your field 3!" (Anime effect)

Serpent-Head, a series also used by Vector in the anime, but it was used when he was a king in his past life. At that time, people played cards using stone tablets, and everyone drew tablets instead of cards every turn.

This card was modified in the physical card version to only be able to make Rock-Type monsters Level 3, but in the anime, it is effective for monsters of any race.

【Gravekeeper's Spy, LV 4 → LV 3】

【Gravekeeper's Assassin, LV 4 → LV 3】

【Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp, LV 1 → LV 3】

"Then I use the Level 3 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp' and 'Serpent-Headed Hellhound' to overlay! The two monsters construct an overlay network, Xyz Summon!"

Vector directed the two monsters to turn into beams of light and fall into the chaotic vortex.

"The power of the past and the present combined, now descend here—"

"—Serpent-Headed Guardian!"

A winding giant snake, its thick python tail constantly swaying and slapping the ground, smashing up transparent dust waves, its heterochromatic pupils flashing with eerie light.

【Serpent-Headed Guardian, ATK 1600】

This is the trump card Vector used when he was a tyrant in his past life; both its eerie design image and monster ability fit Vector's persona.

However...

Fujiki You Xuan revealed a hand card: "Then I activate the Trap card 'Bottomless Trap Hole' from my hand. When the opponent Summons or Special Summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK, destroy those monsters and banish them from the game..."

Vector: "???"

From the hand? Trap Hole?

What kind of ghost trick is this again?

"Oh right, forgot to explain." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "As long as Traptrix Mantis exists in the monster zone, I can always unconditionally activate any 'Hole' or 'Trap Hole' Trap card from my hand."

Vector: "..."

Finally, after tossing and turning until now, he felt as if he had passed through the eighteen layers of hell before he finally summoned the first Xyz monster in this duel, and guess what?

Screw your hand Trap Hole!

Do you not have any human way of dueling?

Another Trap Hole opened mercilessly, and the Serpent-Headed Guardian, who hadn't stood firm yet, fell directly into the deep pit and was sent to another dimension.

But it's not over yet!

"Before being destroyed, I activate 'Serpent-Headed Guardian''s monster effect!" Vector shouted at the top of his lungs, "Serpent-Headed Guardian, by detaching one Xyz Material, can negate the effect of any one face-up monster on the field, and its ATK becomes 0. And this effect can also be activated during the opponent's turn!"

He said, raising his fist high.

"I detach all two Xyz Materials of Serpent-Headed Guardian, and activate its effect twice in a row! Make the effects of 'Traptrix Myrmeleo' and 'Traptrix Mantis' on your field negated, and all ATK becomes 0!"

Fujiki You Xuan supported his chin: "So the anime Serpent-Headed Guardian is so overbearing."

A speed-2 effect with no once-per-turn limit, can chain to any effect activation, and can instantly erase the effects of two monsters on the field.

The physical card not only added a once-per-turn limit, but also added the condition that its Xyz Material must be a Rock-Type monster, and it can only be used in a Rock-Type deck, so it is not very easy to use.

Of course, Fujiki You Xuan's "Traptrix Mantis" effect of "can activate Trap cards from hand" is a continuous effect and can be applied without activation. And Fujiki You Xuan's "Bottomless Trap Hole" has already been activated on the field, so even if Traptrix Mantis's effect is negated, the effect of Bottomless Trap Hole will continue to apply.

【Traptrix Mantis, ATK 1800 → ATK 0】

【Traptrix Myrmeleo, ATK 1600 → ATK 0】

"Serpent-Headed Guardian's other effect," Vector said in a deep voice, "As long as this card exists on the field, all monsters with 0 ATK are destroyed!"

This is also a continuous effect in the anime, does not enter a chain, and does not need to be activated, which is different from the physical card. The physical card can only select one 0-ATK monster on the field to destroy once per turn, and only during your own Main Phase.

So both Traptrix monsters on Fujiki You Xuan's side were destroyed, and Serpent-Headed Guardian was also eliminated due to the residual effect of Bottomless Trap Hole.

"I still have monsters remaining, battle!" Vector shouted, "First is Gravekeeper's Spy, direct attack on the bastard!"

Spy took the lead and attacked Fujiki You Xuan's face directly. At this time, Fujiki You Xuan's front and back rows had been cleared, and there was no more obstruction.

"Then, discard 'Kiteroid' from my hand." Fujiki You Xuan revealed his hand, "Activate when receiving a direct attack, make the battle damage 0."

The attack was blocked, and Vector became even more irritable: "Then I still have 'Gravekeeper's Assassin', direct attack!"

Assassin drew his dagger and struck again with a cold silver light.

Fujiki You Xuan remained calm: "Then activate the effect of 'Kiteroid' sent to the Graveyard just now. Kiteroid has only one chance while in the Graveyard to make the battle damage of a direct attack 0."

Assassin stabbed, the blade pierced Kiteroid's translucent phantom, and was blocked again.

Vector went berserk again: "Ahhhhhh, you just won't let me move! Even once, won't you!?" ===== CHAPTER 1237 =====
