Chapter 1238: Is this the curse?

Vector angrily slapped down the Spell card he drew.

"Spell card 'Xyz Treasure', draw cards based on the number of Xyz monsters on the field!"

At this time, there were "Traptrix Rafflesia" and "Serpent-Headed Guardian" on the field, a total of two Xyz monsters. Both monsters emitted light, flying and gathering into Vector's hand.

"Draw two cards from the deck!"

Vector's eyes were already filled with bloodshot veins.

He won't lose, and he cannot lose. Victory is his greatest desire and the meaning of his existence.

In fact, Vector's life trajectory as a Barian can't be considered perfect.

He didn't have any friends since he was a child in this world, but that's a matter of course. Because he is a natural traitor, a liar. Everyone knows he is a habitual liar, and anyone who tries to entrust their sincerity to him will not end well.

Even the children around him when he was a child knew they should stay away from such people.

There was only one exception.

There was a Barian boy whose name Vector couldn't even remember. When everyone else was distancing themselves from Vector, only that innocent boy had reached out to him.

"Do you want to play together?"

"Because you look like you don't have any friends..."

The young Vector was a little surprised.

Because it had been a long time since anyone dared to talk to him actively.

He hesitated for a moment, but still held the boy's hand.

That was once a period of time that could be called happy, even Vector had to admit. He even briefly thought in his mind, is this what a brother is?

But this period of time finally ended.

On the day Vector cheated away his "brother's" most important deck and most important spirit partner.

Facing the other party's surprise and sadness, and the painful questioning after being betrayed, Vector smiled, smiling very happily.

He did this because he knew clearly what kind of person he was.

Traitor? No, that's just a part of him, and a very one-sided part at that.

Vector has a clear positioning and cognition of himself; he firmly believes that he is a winner.

No matter when, no matter what kind of person he faces, he can persist in being himself. He only believes in the power in his own hands; he doesn't need companions, doesn't need weak things like emotions.

That's why he is powerful, that's why he will never lose.

"Normal Summon 'Cardcar D'!"

What flew out from the card image that appeared on the field was a drifting car, blue body, looking like a car model but so thin it was almost like a card, with propulsion engines spitting out from the rear.

【Cardcar D, ATK 800】

"Cardcar D is released in the turn it is summoned, you can draw two cards from the deck!" (Anime effect)

The Cardcar D that just appeared increased its propulsion tail flame power, and the whole car dissipated in the burning trajectory. The light spots after dissipation fluttered and fell into the deck on Vector's Duel Disk, making the top two cards of his deck bloom with golden light.

Vector drew two more cards.

The physical card Cardcar D forces the turn to end after drawing cards, which is weakened quite a bit compared to the anime. In the anime, it basically equals only needing to use the Normal Summon opportunity of this turn to exchange for drawing two cards.

"Then it's the Equip Spell 'Premature Burial', pay 800 Life Points, you can Special Summon a monster from your Graveyard in Attack Position."

【Vector, LP 2400 → LP 1600】

The image of the Equip Spell was projected in the back row, and Vector waved a card he pulled out from the Graveyard.

"I Special Summon 'Umbral Ghoul' from the Graveyard!"

Shadows formed a dark quagmire on the ground, and the ferocious ghoul struggled to crawl out of it.

【Umbral Ghoul, ATK 1800】

"Umbral Ghoul's effect, once per turn make this card's ATK 0, you can Special Summon an Umbral monster with 0 ATK from your hand." Vector said, "Special Summon 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp' from your hand!"

【Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp, ATK 0】

"Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp's effect, when successfully Summoned, you can choose other monsters on the field, and the Level becomes the same as that monster's. Make Will-o'-the-Wisp's Level the same as 'Umbral Ghoul's' four stars!"

【Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp, LV 1 → LV 4】

"Then activate the Equip Spell 'Stonehenge'!" Vector said, "This card can Special Summon a monster with 0 ATK from your Graveyard in Attack Position.

I Special Summon another 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp' from the Graveyard!"

【Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp, ATK 0】

"This Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp also activates its monster effect, and the Level becomes the same as other monsters on the field!" Vector said, "I want to make this 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp's' Level the same as 'Umbral Ghoul's' four stars!"

Durbe on the side: "There are three 4-star monsters... It's going to appear, Vector's Seven Emperor trump card!"

"I overlay the two 4-star 'Umbral Will-o'-the-Wisp' and 'Umbral Ghoul'! The three monsters construct an overlay network, Xyz Summon!"

Vector shouted.

"Appear, No. 104! Let those rats all bow down to your holy and dazzling radiance—"

"—Number 104: Masquerade Magician Shining!!!"

The purple "No. 104" characters were burning, and then blue metal giant wings opened, like a huge cloak unfolding. Inside the cloak was a magician wearing a mask, with golden armor dotted on his white clothes, revealing a magician-like elegance in his gestures.

【No. 104 Masquerade Magician Shining, ATK 2700】

Vector's over-hundred No.!

If Serpent-Headed Guardian was the trump card of the tyrant Vector in the past, then this Masquerade Magician is the symbol of the Seven Emperor Vector today.

This is also the trump card he tried to summon from the very first turn, but was interrupted by Flying "C".

"Hahahaha, finally appeared! Finally!" Vector laughed crazily, "I will send you to your grave with the power of Masquerade Magician..."

However, he didn't even have time to speak.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Activate set card, Trap card 'Shi Laimu Hole'. Can be activated when a monster is successfully Special Summoned, destroy that monster, and recover Life Points equal to that monster's ATK." (Anime card)

The Masquerade Magician hadn't even stood firm when the earth shattered again, as if gravity had sucked him into it, covered by countless slimes that rushed out of the deep pit, and sucked dry into ashes.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 6700】

Vector: "..."

Ahhhhhh—

He was going crazy, really going crazy.

My over-hundred No.! My trump card!

This over-hundred number can basically be said to be the product of Don Thousand's curse on him, the sign of his tragic ending in his past life and his twisted life.

He even took such things for his own use, not hesitating to use the power of the curse for victory.

And this is it!? ===== CHAPTER 1239 =====
