Chapter 125: It Is Better to Use This When Dueling You

Manjoume's brand-new trump card, Dark End Dragon!

"Watch it, Fujiki You Xuan, the power of me who is no longer what I used to be! I activate the effect of 'Dark End Dragon'!" Manjoume shouted, "Once per turn, its own attack power decreases by 500 points, and send a monster on the opponent's field directly to the graveyard!

Lower Dark End Dragon's attack power by 500 points, and send 'Machina Fortress' to the graveyard!

Dark Vaporization!!!"

【Dark End Dragon, ATK 2600 -> ATK 2100】

The pitch-black dragon let out a high-pitched dragon roar, and the dark power erupted in the center of the battlefield like a black hole in the night sky. The towering steel fortress looked so small under that majestic dark current, and all struggles turned into futile powerlessness, like a lonely boat swaying in the storm.

"But at this moment, the effect of 'Machina Fortress' also applies." Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand, "When Fortress becomes the target of the opponent's monster effect, it can confirm the opponent's hand and discard one of the cards!"

The machine swaying in the dark storm was like a desperate struggle, the huge heavy cannon locked onto Manjoume's direction, as if it were about to release the final ripple before being buried.

"I won't let you have your way!"

Manjoume quickly played another card from his hand, flying into the Duel Disk.

"Quick-Play Magic - Book of Moon! Change a monster on the field to face-down defense position!" Manjoume said, "Change 'Machina Fortress' to face-down defense state!"

The magic tome emerged, and the new moon rose. The huge machine struggling in the dark current instantly covered into a card, completely losing its ability to resist and drifting with the tide in the pitch-black vortex.

"In this way, when the effect is processed, 'Machina Fortress' is no longer face-up on the field, so the effect of discarding hand cards can no longer be applied."

Manjoume pointed to the covered card on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

"Be buried under the power of 'Dark End Dragon'!"

The final struggle of the machine fortress was finally in vain, even the surrounding air seemed to freeze in that pitch-black darkness, leaving only the low roar coming from the center of the vortex, like a demon's whisper.

"Hmm, you really have made some progress." Fujiki You Xuan nodded slightly.

Perhaps there was also a factor of underestimating the enemy when they first fought, this time he felt Manjoume's momentum was stronger, and it seemed he had indeed improved a lot.

"Battle Phase, go! Direct attack by 'Dark End Dragon'!"

The pitch-black dragon opened its mouth, and the pitch-black breath was like the black flame of the abyss! The pitch-black flames swept across Fujiki You Xuan's half of the field, burning fiercely.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP4000 -> LP1900】

"The state looks good." Fujiki You Xuan said.

"Needless to say, I have been preparing for this second battle for a long time, and the state has long been adjusted to the best!" Manjoume said, "My Battle Phase is over, but the turn is not over yet.

Next, activate the Quick-Play Magic 'Super Regeneration' from hand!

In the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, draw a corresponding number of cards from the deck according to the number of Dragon-type monsters discarded from the hand and sacrificed in this turn!

In this turn, I discarded two Dragon-types through 'Hand Destruction', discarded 'Tyrant Dragon' for Trade-In, discarded 'Interdimensional Dragon' for Armored Dragon's effect, and sacrificed 'Armored Dragon' and 'Doru-Dora', totaling six cards.

Therefore, in the End Phase, I draw from the deck..."

He drew a large handful of cards in one breath with a swish.

"... draw six cards!"

"Hmm, as expected of the strongest card-drawing engine for Dragon-types." Fujiki You Xuan supported his chin.

It really was a fierce card-supplementing ability.

"It's about time you put away your leisurely attitude." Manjoume hummed, "I said, I have transformed into an unprecedented state now.

Only by defeating you who is going all out does it have value!"

"Sigh, why do you guys always feel that I'm not serious... My turn, draw card."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card.

"Magic card 'Pot of Greed', draw two cards from the deck."

Because he used "Armored Dragon" as a sacrifice, the current "Dark End Dragon" had destruction resistance, which could indeed resist a large area of removal magic and traps in the current environment.

"Sure enough, it is more appropriate to use this set when dueling you."

Fujiki You Xuan revealed a card.

"Continuous Magic 'Dimension Storage'!

When activated, select three level 4 or lower Union monsters from the deck and banish them." (Anime card)

Three cards automatically popped out from the deck, and after he drew them, the deck automatically shuffled. Fujiki You Xuan revealed the Union trio that should have been Manjoume's.

"Banish 'Y-Dragon Head', 'Z-Metal Tank', and 'W-Wing Catapult' from the game."

The red, gold, and blue mechas were sucked into the vortex in mid-air, and Manjoume's expression immediately became solemn: "The combination used when dueling Tenjoin?"

Fujiki You Xuan: "Normal Summon 'X-Head Cannon'."

【X-Head Cannon, ATK 1800】

"At this moment, the effect of 'Dimension Storage' is activated. When a monster is summoned or Special Summoned on my field, I can Special Summon the related Union monster from the banish zone.

Therefore, I Special Summon 'Y-Dragon Head' and 'Z-Metal Tank'!"

【Y-Dragon Head, ATK 1500】

【Z-Metal Tank, ATK 1500】

"Then X, Y, Z three monsters are banished from the game, transform and combine!"

The mechanical arms connected to each other, and the parts were precisely docked. With the roar of mechanical operation, the three mechas began to assemble and combine tightly, as if under the traction of electromagnetic force, every part and every piece of armor were spliced precisely to the millimeter.

The triple-combined mecha landed heavily with metal tracks. The dragon head on the abdomen and the dual cannons of Head Cannon pointed straight at the enemy position, as if ready to fire at any time.

XYZ-Dragon Cannon, combined summon!

【XYZ-Dragon Cannon, ATK 2800】

Manjoume's brows locked slightly.

Sure enough.

However, he also remembered the effect of XYZ-Dragon Cannon, the powerful ability to destroy any card on the opponent's field by discarding a hand card.

But he still hid the backup move of "Armored Dragon" on his side, and effect destruction was invalid against the current Dark End Dragon. Cannon firing was just a simple loss of hand cards.

Thinking of this, Manjoume narrowed his eyes.

Come on, fire at Dark End Dragon...

But then he noticed Fujiki You Xuan smiling slightly at him.

Manjoume's heart tightened.

What does this smile that seems to see through everything mean?

"Open the set card." Fujiki You Xuan activated the backfield, "Trap card 'Gathering of the Clan'! Select a face-up monster on the field, and Special Summon a monster with a different card name but the same race from the hand or graveyard.

I choose the Machine-type 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' on the field, and Special Summon this card discarded last turn from the graveyard—

—V-Tiger Jet!"

【V-Tiger Jet, ATK 1600】

Manjoume's pupils contracted: "This guy is also a Union..."

"That's right, at this moment the effect of Continuous Magic 'Dimension Storage' is activated again, and the Union monster 'W-Wing Catapult' related to 'V-Tiger Jet' is Special Summoned!"

【W-Wing Catapult, ATK 1300】

"The monster Special Summoned by Storage cannot attack or be sacrificed, but can transform and combine." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Banish 'W-Wing Catapult' and 'V-Tiger Jet' from the game—

—'VW-Tiger Catapult', combined summon!"

【VW-Tiger Catapult, ATK 2000】

"Then 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' and 'VW-Tiger Catapult', further transformation and combination!"

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand.

"The gathered power turns into an indestructible dragon cannon, release the power that shatters everything with roaring artillery fire! Five-fold combination—

—Level 8, VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon!!!"

A harsh sound of metal friction, the two combined mechas split apart and reassembled, the body gradually merged into one, and all the parts and armor were spliced accurately without error. A deafening roar sounded on the battlefield, and the combined giant full of heavy cannons stood on the earth, every piece of armor flashing with cold light.

【VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon, ATK 3000】

Manjoume's face was ugly: "Actually summoned the VWXYZ five-fold combination in one turn..."

Fujiki You Xuan indicated that it was making a fuss, this was the Combo he invented himself, but it was just another world line...

"VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon, effect activated.

Once per turn, banish a card on the opponent's field from the game."

Fujiki You Xuan pointed to Dark End Dragon.

"The target is 'Dark End Dragon'!

Extradimensional Bombardment!"

The steel giant fired an electromagnetic heavy cannon, and the electric light and energy were like piercing through space. Armored Dragon's resistance could only resist effect destruction, but direct banishment was truly beyond its ability. Dark End Dragon had no resistance at all, and disappeared into thin air under the gorgeous artillery fire and dimensional distortion.

"Next is the direct attack of Dragon Catapult Cannon!" Fujiki You Xuan ordered, "Justice from the Sky!"

Of course, the original skill wasn't called this name, he made it up himself. Anyway, monster skills weren't written on the cards, and they were always made up by duelists on the spot; no one cared if you wanted to call it "Jonouchi Fire".

Dragon Catapult Cannon fired at full power, like an awakened steel giant beast. The five-colored cannon was as gorgeous as a rainbow, and countless colorful beams of light were like meteors crossing the sky, weaving into a gorgeous pattern while swallowing Manjoume, like countless fireworks blooming.

"Uwahhh!"

【Manjoume, LP4000 -> LP1000】

Directly lifted backward by the exaggerated air wave, Manjoume climbed up in embarrassment after a long while, baring his teeth: "Damn..."

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set two cards, turn end."
