Chapter 1296: The Target is Yugi Wu Teng

Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls, summon!

Seeing this suddenly descending flaming giant dragon, Rebecca was shocked: "What's going on? Summoning a high-level monster with 2800 ATK so casually..."

Victor seemed to enjoy the shock of this prehistoric duelist and couldn't help but laugh loudly: "Surprised by this level? It's still too early!"

As he spoke, light bloomed again in his Graveyard, and red flames and green whirlwinds burst out from his Graveyard, turning into two cards that floated in mid-air.

"The effect of 'Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders' in my hand," Victor said. "This card can be Special Summoned directly by banishing Dragon-type or EARTH-attribute monsters from the Graveyard."

"I banish the 'Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos' and 'Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms'—the two Dragon-type monsters I just discarded to the Graveyard—from the game, and Special Summon 'Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders' from my hand!"

The two dragons of fire and storm disappeared into the vortex of dimensions, and then the earth shattered and rocks rolled, as if countless giant stones were gathering together, turning into the form of a giant rock dragon.

【Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders, ATK 1600】

"Another Level 7 high-level monster..." Rebecca was shocked.

Just starting, and with two casual moves, two 7-star monsters jumped out. This kind of thing was unheard of.

"Hahaha, the terror of the Dragon Rulers has only just begun!" Victor shouted. "And the effect of 'Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms', which was banished just now for the descent of 'Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders'!"

"When this card is banished, I can add one Dragon-type, WIND-attribute monster from my Deck to my hand."

A transparent storm rolled up on the field, and another card from Victor's Deck popped out of thin air, was rolled into mid-air by the storm, and then blown straight into Victor's hand.

"I add 'Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Thunder' from my Deck to my hand!"

Victor's expression was arrogant, and then he showed that card in his hand.

"Next, I'll let you use the effect of the 'Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Thunder' I just added to my hand immediately! By discarding this card and another Dragon-type or WIND-attribute monster from my hand to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon one 'Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms' from my Deck!"

The storm rose again, and the endless wind power gathered to become the physical form of a dragon. The giant wind dragon flapped its wings high in the vortex of the tornado, emitting a roar that shook the world.

【Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms, ATK 2800】

"Again!?" Rebecca was beyond shocked.

In the blink of an eye, such powerful 7-star Dragon-type monsters were jumping out as if they were free... What kind of deck is this!?

With such high-speed and high-intensity summoning speed for high-level monsters, even Seto Kaiba, who was known as the strongest Dragon-type user in the world as far as Rebecca knew, seemed far inferior in deck strength.

Rebecca gritted her teeth: "What exactly are you..."

"Hahahaha, you seem to have finally started to realize that we are on a different level, but it's already too late!" Victor laughed.

And what he possessed was not just the power of the Dragon Rulers.

The Dragon Rulers were a powerful deck bestowed upon him by the "Academy" after he had made great military achievements and served as the commander of this army.

The timeline of the Arc-V dimension was originally after the Dragon Ruler era, and many former top-tier decks had appeared in the Arc-V anime for anime characters to use. However, those who used top-tier decks in the anime were generally just background characters.

But his power was not just the Dragon Rulers he obtained from the Academy.

After the "Lord Zorc," a traveler between multiverses, established an alliance with the Academy, he brought the Academy powerful cards he had collected from various dimensions.

Among them was this one, which injected new life into his Dragon Ruler deck and was also the strongest terminal Victor held at this time. "The 'Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos' and 'Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms' Special Summoned from the Deck using the effects of the small Dragon Rulers cannot declare an attack this turn. Heh, but that is completely irrelevant!"

Victor raised his arm high.

"I overlay the Level 7 'Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms' and 'Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos', build an Overlay Network with the two monsters, and Xyz Summon!"

The two dragons of wind and fire turned into pure energy beams and shot into the sky, crossing and circling twice in the air, before slamming into the Overlay vortex on the ground.

A giant, snow-white cone-shaped object gradually took shape in the Overlay storm, as if rising from the bottom of the sea to the surface, and a huge single eye opened on its body, as if carrying a soul-shaking oppression.

"NO. 7 Lucky Stripe!!!"

Plundered by Zorc from an Xyz dimension somewhere in the multiverse, the numbered series Lucky Stripe was also an important terminal for the Dragon Ruler deck.

【NO. 7 Lucky Stripe, ATK 2600】

Rebecca instinctively took another step back, continuing to be confused by what she saw: "What is this? Two monsters combined into one? It's not a Tribute or a Fusion Summon, it's Xyz?"

What kind of situation is this?

"Activate the effect of NO. 7 Lucky Stripe! Once per turn, detach one Xyz Material to gain control of one monster on the opponent's field!"

Victor laughed.

A circling material was absorbed into that huge single eye, and that eye bloomed with endless, eerie purple light.

The next moment, the same purple light lit up in the eyes of the Diamond Dragon on Rebecca's field. Then, the Diamond Dragon quickly disintegrated into light spots, re-aggregated on Victor's field, and turned into a shining diamond dragon.

Rebecca was stunned: "Control of Diamond Dragon was..."

"Well, although I wanted to continue showing my power, it seems that you only have this level of ability."

Victor shook his head and sneered.

"In the end, you don't even have the ability to make me use my full strength, no, not even half of my strength. Well, even if you are the US champion, you are still a primitive monkey after all..."

He shook his head again as he spoke.

The more he thought about it, the less he understood why Lord Zorc was so wary of Yugi Wu Teng.

This little girl in front of him was said to be the US champion, and she should be the best among the duelists of this era, but in his eyes, she was just a primitive person.

No matter how strong Yugi Wu Teng is, he uses a similar outdated deck. How could such a thing be a threat to him, an Academy commander?

I really don't understand what Lord Zorc is thinking...

"Well, but since that lord said so, I'd better be safe and ensure the plan is foolproof." Victor tilted his head and smiled. "Although I can't imagine any possibility of losing even if I face Yugi Wu Teng head-on, it's safer to use you just in case."

Rebecca gritted her teeth: "You guy, what do you want to do to Darling..."

"You don't need to know that."

Victor waved his hand casually.

"The turn Lucky Stripe used its effect, it cannot attack. But I will use your own Diamond Dragon, plus 'Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders', to attack directly!"
