Chapter 1352: Hand Count Zero

Bakura: "Zombie Dragon plus Zombie Master, Synchro Tune again!"

【3+4=7】

"Undead dragon of red eyes, be reborn in the fire of the dead! Synchro Summon, Level 7—"

"—Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon!"

This time the Synchro light ring was swallowed by flames during the Synchro process. It was not ordinary fire, but eerie hellfire, gloomy and cold, carrying death, the pitch-black dragon body with scarlet dark light in its eyes, descending in high profile in the blue fire.

【Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, ATK 2400】

Double Synchro!

In just a short while, two major Undead Synchro monsters were already standing on Bakura's field, eyeing the lonely Infernity Archfiend on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

"Red-Eyes Undead Synchro... the evolution of the Undead Dragon." Fujiki You Xuan's eyes lit up. "To be honest, I have also studied the Undead deck a little bit..."

Bakura, however, got straight to the point: "You want my cards, right?"

Fujiki You Xuan raised his eyebrows.

He had encountered many opponents, and many had seen through his intentions, but this was the first time someone had been so direct.

Bakura smiled: "How long do you think I've been observing you? Do you think I didn't notice this little hobby of yours that makes you different?"

Fujiki You Xuan also smiled: "Then since that's the case, why don't we skip the troublesome process, Lord Zorc, just leave your cards to me. Anyway, with your current vision and strength, you probably don't care..."

"If you show the strength worthy of it, of course, do as you please. But before that..."

Bakura raised his voice and continued.

"Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon's effect: this card's attack power increases by 100 points for every Undead-type monster on both fields and in both Graveyards!"

"Now I have Zombie Dragon and Revived King Ha Des on my field, and Goblin Zombie, Zombie Master, and Zombie Dragon in the Graveyard, totaling five Undead-type monsters. Therefore, Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon's attack power increases by 500!"

【Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, ATK 2400 → ATK 2900】

"Battle Phase!" Bakura said. "Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, attack 'Infernity Archfiend'!"

The Undead Dragon's whole body ignited with blue flames, and the eerie ghost fire gathered, concentrating in the mouth of the pitch-black giant dragon, turning into a shining vortex.

The demon's body was instantly swallowed by the blue fire, decomposing rapidly under the burning of the fire, and vanished in an instant.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 2900】

"At this moment, Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon's monster effect also activates again!" Bakura shouted loudly. "If any Undead-type monster other than Zombie Dragon is destroyed by battle on the field, I can choose one Undead-type monster in my or the opponent's Graveyard and Special Summon it to my field!"

If combined with a field effect like "Zombie World", making all monsters in both Graveyards Undead-type, then Zombie Dragon's ability would be even more overbearing, because then every time any monster on the field was destroyed by battle, it could revive any monster from either Graveyard at will—not to mention that if all monsters in both Graveyards became Undead-type, it could also pile up even more astonishing attack power for it.

Although there was no Zombie World for the time being, this effect was still powerful.

"Using Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon's effect, revive the Undead 'Goblin Zombie' from my Graveyard!"

The goblin that had already gone to the Graveyard was dragged out from the vortex of the Graveyard, its whole body churning with gloomy darkness.

【Goblin Zombie, ATK 1200】

"I see," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Choosing to revive Goblin Zombie is because it takes into account both finishing and sustainability?"

At this time, Fujiki You Xuan's monsters on the field were cleared, Fujiki You Xuan's Life Points were 2900, and the remaining Revived King Ha Des's attack power was 2450. Adding Goblin Zombie's attack power, two consecutive direct attacks would indeed complete the kill.

Of course, Bakura obviously also considered the possibility of Fujiki You Xuan taking the subsequent consecutive attacks. And Goblin Zombie could also search for new Undead-type monsters from the Deck to the hand when it left the field, ensuring further sustainability.

"Correct, but the premise of sustainability is that you can take the attack."

Bakura laughed loudly.

"I've been looking forward to meeting you formally for a long time. Don't let me be too disappointed. Battle!"

"Use 'Revived King Ha Des', direct attack!"

The demon's eyes flashed with scarlet light, and the dark current rushed toward Fujiki You Xuan like a pitch-black river, as if to roll him into the vortex and drown him in it.

However, of course, Fujiki You Xuan also had a countermeasure: "Activate face-down card, Continuous Trap 'Abyss Amulet'."

"This card's effect can be activated when the opponent directly attacks, discard one hand card to make the direct attack invalid!"

Fujiki You Xuan sent a hand card into the Graveyard.

The trap released an amulet, and after it was materialized, it expanded to the size of a person at an astonishing speed. That amulet released transparent pulses like sound waves, blocking Ha Des's attack like an invisible barrier.

"Ha, sure enough, there are other means." Bakura was not surprised, and continued. "Then I'll use 'Goblin Zombie' to attack directly."

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then activate 'Abyss Amulet's' effect for the second time, discard one hand card to make the direct attack invalid."

The zombie stepped up, the blade in its hand slashed out, silver light slashed across, and the blade light slashed onto the transparent barrier and was completely offset.

"Oh? A trap with no limit on the number of uses per turn, it's not bad as a self-defense means." Bakura smiled. "And the cost of use can accelerate the consumption of hand cards, although it was originally a bit heavy, it's just right for your deck, right?"

Saying this obviously showed that Bakura knew about "Infernity".

"Indeed, and my cards are not many anymore." Fujiki You Xuan shook the only card left in his hand.

"I'm looking forward to it." Bakura smiled lightly. "Turn end."

"My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, and the hand count became two.

Then he pulled one of them out.

"Set a card on the field."

The set card appeared in Fujiki You Xuan's back row, and the hand count was the last one.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Normal Summon 'Infernity Necromancer'!"

The black-robed necromancer was summoned to the field, stretching out a pair of skeletal palms from under the wide sleeves, green hair fluttering, and a skull face.

【Infernity Necromancer, DEF 2000】

Hand count is zero.

Bakura stared at his completely exhausted hand and narrowed his eyes: "Finally coming?"

"When my hand count is 0, 'Infernity Necromancer's' effect can be activated." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, I can choose one 'Infernity' monster other than Necromancer from my Graveyard and Special Summon it to my field."

"The one I want to Special Summon from the Graveyard is this card."

The Infernity monster in Fujiki You Xuan's Graveyard popped out.

"Special Summon 'Infernity Archfiend'!" ===== CHAPTER 1353 =====
