Chapter 1433: Convinced

"Even the Normal Summon wasn't used..."

Aster felt that the confidence he had accumulated in the HERO Deck until now, along with his worldview, had been shattered today.

He suddenly realized today that the HERO he had always been proud of was actually something he had never understood at all.

And the jellyfish-head opposite him began to look unprecedentedly dazzling in his eyes, as if overlapping with that shining Nebula Neos, stinging people so much they didn't dare look directly at him.

Just facing him like this made him feel like he was a head shorter than his opponent.

"The effect of 'Elemental HERO Blazeman'!" Jaden said. "When Blazeman is successfully summoned, I can add the Spell Card 'Polymerization' from my Deck to my hand!"

The Deck performed an automatic search again. A ball of fire flew out, and the fireball landed in Jaden's hand, the flames extinguished, turning into a Fusion Spell that he gripped in his hand.

Aster looked at his opponent again, feeling even more chilled in his heart. Because he saw Jaden's odd-colored pupils, carrying the pressure of an endless king, making people feel terrified from the bottom of their hearts.

Both the duelist opposite him and the monsters possessed terrifying power.

Aster suddenly realized that this was not an opponent at his level at all... No, in their dimension, perhaps only Lord Gulus could be compared to this person.

"Dueling is not a power used for harm and domination," Jaden said lightly, contrary to his enjoyment during the duel, becoming a bit disappointed. "Especially you, Aster... even if you aren't my Aster, I don't want to see you fall into darkness."

Aster said gloomily: "Saying inexplicable things again..."

Jaden shook his head and said: "Even if I exhaust everything I have, I will absolutely stop you from continuing to fall.

So for this, I will here..."

He closed his eyes briefly, and when he opened them again, they had turned into those terrifying golden pupils.

At this moment, Aster really felt like he was facing Lord Gulus, feeling that shuddering sensation of a higher-level king.

"Show your full power!" Jaden shouted. "Activate Spell Card 'Fake Hero' from my hand. This card can Special Summon one Elemental HERO monster from my hand to the field, but that monster cannot attack and returns to the hand at the end of the turn.

I Special Summon 'Elemental HERO Neos' from my hand!"

【Elemental HERO Neos, ATK 2500】

"Then activate Quick-Play Spell 'Trap Booster' from my hand! Discard one card from my hand to activate one Trap Card from my hand."

Jaden discarded a card, then revealed a Trap Card.

"Trap Card 'Hope for the Future'!" Jaden said. "This card can only be activated when 'Elemental HERO Neos' is on my field. Send one Spell Card 'Polymerization' from my hand to the Graveyard, then select one Neos Fusion monster from my Extra Deck, and send any number of corresponding Fusion Material monsters from my Deck to the Graveyard based on the Fusion Materials described for that monster."

Jaden revealed the Fusion monster that symbolized the ultimate power of Neos.

"What I want to reveal is 'Elemental HERO Divine Neos'! The Fusion Material requirement is 'Elemental HERO Neos' plus six 'Neo-Spacian' monsters with different names on the field or in the Graveyard. Therefore, I can send any number of 'Neo-Spacians' from my Deck to the Graveyard at will, until all six 'Neo-Spacians' with different names are gathered in the Graveyard!"

Jaden shoved a pile of Neo-Spacians from his Deck into the Graveyard until all six major Neo-Spacians were gathered in his Graveyard.

"Then shuffle all seven Fusion Material monsters, 'Elemental HERO Neos' on the field and 'Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin', 'Grand Mole', 'Dark Panther', 'Air Hummingbird', 'Flare Scarab', and 'Glow Moss' in the Graveyard, back into the Deck, Ultimate Contact Fusion!"

Jaden punched toward the sky.

"Gather all the power of hope, move toward the future—"

"—Elemental HERO Divine Neos!!!"

Neos plus all the Neo-Spacians, seven-fold fusion, transforming into the final and strongest form of Neos!

【Elemental HERO Divine Neos, ATK 3000】 (Anime version)

"Divine..." Aster couldn't help but take half a step back, his eyes a bit blurred.

It wasn't just the name; he really felt the aura of a god from this monster.

There was actually a god in the HERO Deck...

It turned out that the HERO he had been playing all along was a fake.

"Divine Neos's effect." Jaden said. "I can banish 'Neo-Spacian' monsters from my Graveyard, increase Divine Neos's ATK by 500 for each one banished, and gain the effect of the banished monster."

Jaden revealed all six Neo-Spacians that had just been shuffled back into the Deck in one go.

"I banish all the Neo-Spacian partners from the game, making Divine Neos gain the effects of all six Neo-Spacian monsters, and increase its ATK by 3000!"

【Elemental HERO Divine Neos, ATK 3000 → ATK 6000】

Aster: "ATK 6000..."

"It's not over yet!"

Jaden was still continuing.

"Divine Neos gained the effect of 'Flare Scarab', increasing its ATK by 400 for every Spell/Trap Card on the opponent's field! You still have three Spell/Trap Cards on your field, Aster, ATK increases by another 1200!"

【Elemental HERO Divine Neos, ATK 6000 → ATK 7200】

Aster remained silent.

7200 ATK was indeed a very terrifying number; being touched by it would definitely be the end.

But he still had a backup in his hand.

Aster glanced at the card in his hand.

"Destiny HERO - Drillguy" that he had recovered to his hand in the previous turn.

Discard from hand when a monster battles, make one battle damage 0, and then both sides take 1000 damage.

As long as he used this, he could block the opponent's finishing blow. And at this time, Jaden's Life Points were only 1100, so taking Drillguy's explosion was still very dangerous...

Jaden: "Activate the effect of 'Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin' gained by Divine Neos! Discard one card from my hand, I can check the opponent's hand and select one monster card from it. If I have a monster on my field with higher ATK than that monster, destroy that monster and inflict 500 damage to the opponent!"

Aster: "Nani!?"

His eyes went wide, full of disbelief.

Even hand traps aren't spared!?

"Echo Location!" Jaden shouted.

And so, Aster's last line of defense, his final backup, Drillguy in his hand, was also shattered under Divine Neos's Echo Location.

【Aster, LP 2100 → LP 1700】

Aster looked blankly at the destroyed hand, full of dazedness.

Negation, destruction, plus hand traps, even such a complete defense line was broken by the opponent.

He had really exhausted everything and was at his wit's end.

Too strong.

The strength of this jellyfish-head was simply not in the same dimension as his...

"Activate the Equip Spell 'Favorite HERO' searched by Flame Wingman this turn, and equip it to Divine Neos!" Jaden said. "Then enter the Battle Phase. At this moment, Favorite HERO's effect allows me to activate one Field Spell from my Deck.

I activate Field Spell 'Neo Space'!"

The background instantly turned into the dazzling and shimmering Neo Space.

"Divine Neos increases its ATK by another 500 in Neo Space." Jaden said. "And when I have a Field Spell on my side, the effect of Equip Spell 'Favorite HERO' increases the equipped monster's ATK by its own DEF.

Therefore, Divine Neos's ATK increases by another 3000!"

【Elemental HERO Divine Neos, ATK 7200 → ATK 10200】

ATK over 10,000.

Aster: "..."

Jaden: "Elemental HERO Divine Neos, attack 'Destiny HERO - Dystopia'!"

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something but stopping, for a long while, and finally said nothing, just closing his eyes.

Convinced, nothing to say.

Strength not in the same dimension at all.

Judai: "Elemental HERO Divine Neos, attack Destiny HERO - Dystopia!"

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something but stopping himself. After a long while, he ultimately said nothing and just closed his eyes.

Completely convinced, with nothing left to say.

It was a strength from an entirely different dimension.
