Chapter 1440: Mastery!

"The power of Pendulum, huh," You Xuan smiled. "It wouldn't be interesting otherwise."

"The Pendulum Scales I just set, 'D/D Savant Copernicus' and 'D/D Cerberus,' have scales of 1 and 6 respectively. With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Level 2 to 5 from my hand."

The crystal-like Pendulum in the sky began to sway, and a transparent vortex appeared in the center of the two pillars of light representing the scales.

Reiji Akaba tossed the two cards in his hand into the air; the cards seemed to be pulled by an invisible force, spinning as they were sucked into the void, then turned into two beams of light that fell back onto the field.

"Great power that shakes my soul, please dwell within me and become the new light that shatters the darkness! Pendulum Summon!"

Reiji Akaba raised his arm high, his anti-gravity scarf fluttering in the wind like a cape.

"Appear! 'D/D Baphomet'! 'D/D Ghost'!"

So the rabbit sacrificed itself as a virtual shadow again, and two heavy giant bears from the deck flew to the field again, making majestic roars while slapping their chests continuously.

【D/D Baphomet, ATK 1400】

【D/D Ghost, ATK 600】

"Pendulum Summon, you can summon multiple monsters at once," Judai said, resting his chin on his hand with interest. "Looks quite amazing."

Yusei reminded him calmly: "Still, be careful. They just said Pendulum was originally a summoning method exclusive to Z-ARC. So if we have to face Z-ARC later..."

"Oh, right!" Yuma realized. "That guy named Z-ARC might also fight using this summoning method we're not familiar with."

Yugi also said: "That's right, and he's definitely stronger than this person."

Reiji Akaba continued by playing another card from his hand: "Next, I Normal Summon 'D/D Necro Shi Laimu' from my hand."

A dark vortex formed a black goat's head on the field; one of its horns was broken, looking like a damaged skull. But dark purple slime churned inside the skull, filling the mouth, nose, and eye areas, looking quite terrifying.

【D/D Necro Shi Laimu, ATK 300】

"Then, using the Level 2 Tuner monster 'D/D Ghost', plus the Level 4 'D/D Baphomet', and the Level 1 'D/D Necro Shi Laimu', I tune!"

【2+4+1=7】

Watching the three monsters that flew out and quickly turned into tuning rings and starlight, Yusei's eyes moved: "From Pendulum to Synchro...?"

"Correct. Pendulum is a method that can quickly link to any summoning method. Using this as a foundation, it can perfectly integrate with the summoning methods of any dimension. This is the basic idea of my deck."

Reiji said as he began to chant.

"Roar that tears through the darkness, gain the speed of a gale, and become the cry of the newborn king landing! Synchro Summon, Level 7, 'D/D/D Gust High King Alexander'!!!"

Starlight poured down like a waterfall from beyond the sky to the ground. Sword energy turned into a transparent gale, the curtain of light was torn apart, as if the ancient Alexander the Great had been resurrected from history.

【D/D/D Gust High King Alexander, ATK 2500】

"It's not over yet. Next, I activate the effect of 'D/D Ghost,' which was sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material just now," Reiji Akaba continued. "When 'D/D Ghost' is sent to the Graveyard, I can choose a 'D/D' monster other than 'D/D Ghost' in my Graveyard or any card with 'Contract' in its name, and send a card with the same name from my deck to the Graveyard."

As he spoke, the phantom of Baphomet, one of the Synchro Materials, floated back onto the field, hovered in mid-air, and then merged into the deck. Immediately after, another card automatically popped out of Reiji's deck, and he drew it into his hand—it was indeed the second Baphomet.

"I send the second 'D/D Baphomet' from my deck to the Graveyard."

After dumping one card, Reiji continued: "Next, I activate the effect of 'D/D Necro Shi Laimu' from the Graveyard! When this card is in the Graveyard, I can banish the monsters used as Fusion Material from the Graveyard to Fusion Summon a 'D/D/D' Fusion Monster!"

Thus, two more monster cards appeared in his Graveyard: the 'D/D Ghost' that had just used its ability...

... and 'D/D Necro Shi Laimu.'

"I banish 'D/D Necro Shi Laimu' and 'D/D Pandora' from the Graveyard to perform a Fusion Summon!" Reiji Akaba said. "The Fusion condition is a 'D/D' monster plus a 'D/D' monster of Level 5 or higher!"

Mysterious vortex that changes form at will, devour the undead stirring in the darkness, and at this moment, merge into one to give birth to a new dead one! Fusion Summon—

—'D/D/D Flame High King Genghis'!"

A swirling vortex of fire attached to the sturdy body. Borrowing the name of the ancient king Genghis Khan, the giant held a fiery red sword in one hand and a glowing red shield in the other, landing on the field with his whole body burning with flames.

【D/D/D Flame High King Genghis, ATK 2800】

Judai: "Ah, this time it's a Fusion Summon again!"

"He performed Pendulum, Synchro, and Fusion in succession in one turn. This President has some skills," Yuma also nodded.

Ray also said: "Reiji is a man who can integrate all summoning methods. This is also one of his assets for wanting to challenge Z-ARC."

"Kiteroid's second effect, this card exists in the Graveyard, only one chance, can make battle damage 0 during a direct attack."

Astral said calmly: "If you say all summoning methods, then from Pendulum to Synchro, and then to Fusion, the next should be..."

Reiji Akaba continued: "Activate the effect of 'D/D/D Gust High King Alexander'! When this card is in the Monster Zone and a 'D/D' monster other than this card is summoned or Special Summoned to my field, I can choose a 'D/D' monster of Level 4 or lower in my Graveyard and revive it to the field!"

The Gust High King swung his sword, and a greenish whirlwind formed a vortex on the field. The previously black-winged Baphomet reappeared from the vortex.

【D/D Baphomet, ATK 1400】

"At this moment, the effect of 'D/D/D Flame High King Genghis' also activates!" Reiji said. "When Genghis is on the field and a 'D/D' monster other than this card is Special Summoned to my field, I can choose a 'D/D' monster in my Graveyard to revive."

"I will revive the second 'D/D Baphomet' that I sent to the Graveyard through Ghost's effect!"

Genghis's heavy sword slashed down, and flames formed a second vortex on the ground. The second Baphomet also reappeared from the firestorm.

【D/D Baphomet, ATK 1400】

"Overlay the two Level 4 'D/D Baphomet'!"

Reiji Akaba's pupils seemed to be burning with flames, and his anti-gravity scarf fluttered wildly.

"Ah, Overlay!" Yuma was surprised. "Is he really going to use all summoning methods in one turn..."

"Correct. This is my 'D/D' deck that integrates all the summoning methods of this dimension."

Reiji Akaba shouted.

"Xyz Summon!" ===== CHAPTER 1441 =====
