Chapter 1450: Infernity Mirage

【Rescue Rabbit, ATK 300】

"And the card I just discarded from my hand was the Spell Card 'Card of Compensation'," Instructor Sanders continued. "When 'Card of Compensation' is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard, I can draw two cards from the deck."

Instructor Sanders drew two cards.

After glancing at the cards he drew, he quickly played one of them.

"Second Continuous Spell 'Gladiator Beast's Respite'!" Instructor Sanders said. "In this way, my Gladiator Beasts have gained resistance that 'cannot be targeted by card effects' during the Battle Phase!"

"Then activate Rescue Rabbit's effect again, banish itself from the game, and Special Summon two 4-star Normal Monsters from the deck!" Sanders shouted.

His two Gladiator vanillas were washed back into the deck during the "Gladiator Fusion" process last turn, so they were naturally still in the deck.

Thus, the rabbit turned into a phantom again to sacrifice itself, and two bulky giant bears in the deck flew onto the field again, emitting powerful roars while continuously beating their chests.

"Special Summon two 'Gladiator Beast Andal'!"

【Gladiator Beast Andal, ATK 1900】 x2

Fujiki You Xuan joked: "Oh? Repeating the same three-axe move from last time? Let me guess, you have Domitianus Mark II?"

As soon as his ace, which had just been knocked down, was mentioned, Instructor Sanders was so angry that his beard stood up. He snorted heavily and blew his beard.

"Domitianus is my unique ace and there is no second one. But don't be too proud, the power of Gladiator is not just in Domitianus!"

Instructor Sanders said, and pulled out another card that popped out of the deck.

"The effect of Continuous Spell 'Gladiator Beast's Respite,' when a Gladiator Beast is Special Summoned on the field, Special Summon 'Gladiator Beast Secutor' from the deck!"

The new Gladiator monster was slapped onto the Duel Disk. A green whirlwind rolled up, and the steel wings flew along the direction of the storm airflow, turning into the image of a beast-warrior Gladiator.

【Gladiator Beast Secutor, ATK 1600】

"Then use 'Gladiator Beast Secutor' and 'Gladiator Beast Andal' on the field to return from the field to the deck, and perform Gladiator Fusion!"

Instructor Sanders raised his arm high and shouted sharply.

"Fighter of the raptors that survived in ancient times! Merge with the soul of the gladiator and become a veteran warrior! Fusion Summon—

—'Gladiator Beast Gyzarus'!"

Two beams of light merged into the vortex, and the green steel wings danced along the airflow. Green armor was worn on Caesar, and the light of a king flashed in his eyes.

【Gladiator Beast Gyzarus, ATK 2400】

"Oh, Gyzarus, a monster that makes me nostalgic." Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

He often used it when he played Gladiator back then, so he naturally wouldn't be unfamiliar with it.

"'Gladiator Beast Gyzarus's' effect!" Instructor Sanders shouted. "When this card is successfully Special Summoned, I can choose up to two cards on the field to destroy!"

Instructor Sanders' long whip lashed out, and a long crack was whipped out on the ground with a *pa* sound.

"Gyzarus's effect, destroy 'Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning' on your field and the face-down card in the backrow!"

Dark light flashed in Gyzarus's eyes, and countless steel blades shot out. BLS bore the brunt, although he had raised his shield, the warrior's shield could not withstand the piercing of the steel blades.

With a loud bang, BLS could only helplessly leave the field.

But just before Fujiki You Xuan's face-down card in the backrow was hit, another card beside it had already automatically flipped open. All of Gyzarus's steel blades turned halfway and shot at the automatically activated Trap card.

"Trap Card 'Pan Duola's Box'." Fujiki You Xuan said. "This card can force the effect target to be transferred to this card when a Spell/Trap card on my field becomes a card effect target, and then I draw two cards."

Thus, the Pan Duola's Box projected by the solid image was pierced and exploded by countless blades and left the field, and Fujiki You Xuan then drew two cards.

"Little tricks, then let's fight!" Instructor Sanders shouted. "'Gladiator Beast Gyzarus,' direct attack!"

Fujiki You Xuan revealed a card in his hand: "Then discard 'Kiteroid' from my hand. This card can negate one direct attack when the opponent attacks directly."

The phantom of the anthropomorphic kite appeared on Fujiki You Xuan's field, blocking the bombardment of Gyzarus like a black phantom shield.

"Tsk, then attack continues." Instructor Sanders said. "'Gladiator Beast Andal' direct attack!"

The Gladiator Beast giant bears beat their chests repeatedly again, and a bull rush came straight at him.

But the anthropomorphic kite with a disdainful look appeared again, blocking in front of Fujiki You Xuan like a phantom barrier.

"Kiteroid's second effect: this card exists in the Graveyard, and only once, you can make battle damage 0 during a direct attack."

"Tsk, you're quite good at saving your little life... Then Battle Phase ends." Instructor Sanders said gloomily. "The remaining 'Gladiator Beast Andal' Special Summoned through 'Rescue Rabbit's' effect must be destroyed in the End Phase of this turn. But before that..."

He revealed another card in his hand.

"I activate Spell Card 'Equivalence of Horse Bones' from my hand!" Instructor Sanders said. "Send face-up monsters on my field other than Effect Monsters to the Graveyard, and I can draw two cards from my deck.

I send 'Gladiator Beast Andal' on the field to the Graveyard and draw two cards!"

Thus, the remaining Andal also exerted its value at the last moment before self-destructing, turning into light spots and dissipating.

And Instructor Sanders also accelerated and drew two cards.

After looking at the two cards he drew, Instructor Sanders narrowed his eyes.

One is the Continuous Trap "Gladiator Beast's War Chariot." This card can grant his Gladiator Beasts permanent resistance that cannot be destroyed by battle, but as a price, the battle damage he takes will be doubled.

The other one drew "Gladiator Beast Samnite."

Samnite can be Special Summoned directly from the hand when the opponent attacks directly, and the opponent's monster's attack target is forcibly transferred to this card for damage calculation.

In addition, Samnite itself has an effect that it will not be destroyed by battle.

Gladiator Beast exclusive hand trap, an artifact for saving lives and turning the tables. It automatically jumps out to block the knife when attacked, and after blocking the knife, it can trigger the Gladiator Beast's effect of "returning itself to the deck after battle and Special Summoning other Gladiator Beasts from the deck."

Not only can it block defense, but it can also pave the way for further offensives, which is a hand trap with quite excellent performance.

"Set one card, turn ends." Instructor Sanders said.

Plus the hand trap in the backrow, and Gyzarus standing on the front field.

If the opponent attacks Gyzarus, then use the face-down card "Gladiator Beast's War Chariot" to defend, and Gyzarus after the battle can return to the deck and then change into two new Gladiator Beasts from the deck.

This formation has no flaws.

"And on your next turn, all the cards you drew through 'Nightmare's Steelcage' must be discarded." Instructor Sanders reminded.

"I know."

Fujiki You Xuan only shrugged indifferently when he heard this, still wearing that annoying smile that made his opponent irritable.

"My turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan said. "At this moment, 'Nightmare's Steelcage's' effect activates, randomly discard four cards from my hand!" ===== CHAPTER 1451 =====
