Chapter 1473

Black clouds gathered over Yuto's field, and thunder and lightning tossed in the clouds again. With the howling wind, the pitch-black clouds seemed to gain substance, transforming into sharp jaws and blade-like bone wings, and the slender, pitch-black dragon returned from the Underworld.

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, revive!

【Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, ATK 2500】

Yuma: "To think even Dark Rebellion was revived..."

"This is fine, Yuma." Astral was calm.

Yuma smiled slightly: "This was also within your calculations, right, Astral?"

"Yes. In this way, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon has no Xyz Materials." Astral said calmly, "The equation for victory has been completed. We are going to win, Yuma."

Yuma laughed: "That's a must!"

Without hesitation, Yuma immediately played another card from his hand: "I haven't performed a Normal Summon this turn. I will Normal Summon 'Zubaba Magician'!"

The golden magic circle rippled out in layers, and the figure of the magician condensed from the light vortex. It was a mage with a style that seemed to be in the same line as the Dark Magician, but with its face covered, and silver-white hair exposed under the brim of the magician's hat.

【Zubaba Magician, ATK 1500】

"Overlay the Level 4 'Zubaba Magician' with the Level 4 'Gogogo Golem' left on the field from last turn!" Yuma said, "Construct the overlay network with two monsters, Xyz Summon! Rank 4—No. 39 Utopia—Double!"

The magician and the golem both disappeared into the overlay vortex; this time, the pure, sacred golden brilliance that erupted from the overlay network sprayed out like a fountain, and then the golden light spots all over the sky fell like rain.

The golden armor rose from the vortex again, wings spread, crescent-like blades swung, and it once again transformed into the posture of Utopia, but this time the figure was as if between illusion and reality, like a dream.

【No. 39 Utopia—Double, ATK 0】

"Utopia again? And a new form?" Yuto frowned.

He was wondering how many more skins this thing could have...

"Of course, because another Xyz Summon of a Utopia monster was performed, the effect of 'Xyz Change Tactics' activated again." Yuma said, "Pay 500 Life Points, draw a card from the deck!"

【Yuma, LP 2500 → LP 2000】

Yuma drew another card.

"Then activate the effect of Utopia Double!" Yuma said, "Remove one Xyz Material, you can add one 'Double or Nothing!' from the deck to your hand!"

Yuma's soul card, the artifact that turned the tide in adversity countless times in the anime, used from the beginning to the finale, the clue that runs through the whole process, Double or Nothing!.

Yuma displayed the Magic Card and then drew it to his hand.

"And after that, you can further use 'No. 39 Utopia—Double' itself as Xyz Material, and Overlay other 'Utopia' monsters on this card, Special Summoning them from the Extra Deck as an Xyz Summon!"

Yuma said, raising his hand again.

"Re-Xyz using Utopia Double as material!"

Astral said: "Yuma, now is the time to use our new power, to release full strength."

"Okay!" Yuma said, "I use 'No. 39 Utopia—Double' as material to re-Xyz, Chaos Xyz Change!

Turn chaos into the messenger of light, obtain the legendary power from afar, and arrive again in the ultimate armed posture—Beast Armor Combination Lion Utopia Ray, summon!"

Utopia Double entered the overlay vortex again, and Utopia's body upgraded and transformed once more. Red and silver-white armor attached to Utopia Ray, making Utopia seem to have completely upgraded from an armored warrior to a Gundam. Under the surrounding brilliance, Utopia Ray was like having three heads and six arms, with a golden greatsword in each hand.

【Beast Armor Combination Lion Utopia Ray, ATK 2500】

"This is our brand new evolution, the new power of ZEXAL!" Yuma was quite proud.

Yuto also indeed felt increasingly dangerous power from this Utopia that kept upgrading through stacking, but at this moment, Dark Rebellion really had no Xyz Materials left to interfere or resist.

He was a little impatient: "So what if there's endless upgrading? No matter how it transforms, it's always 2500 ATK..."

"Don't be anxious. First of all, because a new Utopia was summoned again, the effect of 'Xyz Change Tactics' activated again." Yuma said, "Pay 500 Life Points, draw another card from the deck."

【Yuma, LP 2000 → LP 1500】

Yuma drew another card.

Relying solely on this Xyz Change Tactics, Yuma had actually made a fortune in the process of Utopia stacking. Now he had not only broken through the opponent's formation on the field, but was also widening the gap in resources.

"And although the monster summoned by the effect of Utopia Double cannot attack the opponent player directly, in exchange, that monster's ATK is doubled!" Yuma shouted.

【Beast Armor Lion Utopia Ray, ATK 2500 → ATK 5000】

"ATK... 5000?" Yuto's calmness gradually disappeared.

"Then activate the effect of Beast Armor Lion Utopia!" Yuma said, "Lion Utopia, once per turn, remove this card's Xyz Material, you can equip one 'ZEXAL Weapon' monster from the deck or Extra Deck to Lion Utopia as an Equip Card!

And the activation and effect of this effect cannot be negated!"

In other words, even if the invincible Dark Rebellion still had Xyz Materials, it still couldn't stop this effect of the Beast King's armament.

"Therefore, use the effect of Beast Armor Lion, equip 'ZEXAL Weapon - Master Tianma Twin Saber' from the deck to Beast Armor Lion Utopia Ray!"

A steel white Master Tianma flew out from the deck, its iron hooves stepping on the void and spinning twice in mid-air, then soon transformed and assembled, becoming the posture of a sword, which was grasped by Utopia Ray's large hand and became a part of Utopia Ray.

"Utopia Ray equipped with Master Tianma Twin Saber increases ATK by 1000 points!" Yuma said, "And when this card is equipped, you can negate the effect of a monster on the opponent's field once per turn!"

【Beast Armor Combination Lion Utopia Ray, ATK 5000 → ATK 6000】

"Then activate the effect of Beast Armor Combination Lion Utopia Ray itself!" Yuma said, "Once per turn during either player's turn, when this card is equipped with a ZEXAL Weapon, you can target one Effect Monster on the opponent's field, negate that monster's effect, and its ATK becomes half!

Halve the ATK of 'Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon'!"

【Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, ATK 3000 → ATK 1500】

Master Tianma Twin Saber can negate a monster effect once, and Beast Armor Lion itself can also negate an effect once—and this effect can be activated during the opponent's turn.

In other words, just having this one Utopia on the field meant two negations per turn.

Plus this 6000 ATK...

"ZEXAL, power from the Xyz Dimension... huh?" Yuto pondered.

"Battle! Beast Armor Combination Lion Utopia Ray!" Yuma said, "Attack 'Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon'!"

Utopia's sword slashed through the air, an extremely overbearing impact, the roar of space shattering, Dark Rebellion's body split from the middle, soon wrapped and swallowed by golden light, falling as if wrapped in burning black flames.

【Yuto, LP 4000 → LP 0】
