Chapter 1483

The golden die tossed in the darkness, and the number soon stopped at the "4" position.

"Effect activated successfully." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Therefore, according to the effect of 'Snipe Hunter', choose one of your 'Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm' on the field and destroy it."

The sniper pulled the trigger, and the pitch-black bullet flew out from his barrel. Darkwurm was pierced by a shot and exploded into pieces with a "bang".

Fujiki You Xuan said indifferently: "The effect of Darkwurm is, as long as there is another 'Supreme King' monster on your field other than this card, and this card becomes the target of the opponent's attack, you can negate that attack, right?"

Yuma on the side: "Eh? Meaning, if there are two Darkwurms on the field at the same time..."

"No matter which one is attacked, the attack will be negated, which is equivalent to the attack being blocked." Astral on the side nodded, "And, even if the opponent wants to give up attacking and switch to a direct burn strategy, with Pendulum Scales 'Supreme King Gate Zero' and 'Supreme King Gate Infinity' on the field, any damage to Zarc will be converted into Life Points and absorbed, is that how it is..."

Yuma: "Isn't that invincible? Such a terrifying combination..."

Attack blocking, all damage converted to absorption—it is indeed a formation that can be called absolute defense.

But as one of the two Darkwurms was blown up by Snipe Hunter, the attack blocking was no longer established, and the defense line was naturally broken.

"And the card I discarded to activate Snipe Hunter's effect just now is Magic Card 'Card of Compensation'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Discard this card from your hand to the Graveyard, draw two cards from the deck."

Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards, then immediately took the Sniper off the Duel Disk, sent it to the Graveyard, replaced it with another monster card, and slapped it onto the Duel Disk.

"This card in my hand can be Special Summoned directly from the hand by releasing any one monster on my field."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"I release 'Snipe Hunter' on the field, come—Pharaoh's Descent!"

Sacred golden armor, as if a graceful Pharaoh put on ancient holy armor, holding a scepter symbolizing status, with his cloak and steel wings spread behind him, descending in holy light.

【Pharaoh's Descent, ATK 2000】

"Then Battle Phase," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Pharaoh's Descent, attack the remaining 'Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm'!"

Pharaoh danced the scepter, and golden magic light flowed and shot out. The remaining Darkwurm was also blasted through the chest, roared low in anger, and fell while burning.

However, the aftermath of the flames was absorbed by 'Supreme King Gate Zero' floating on the side, then passed into 'Supreme King Gate Infinity' next to it, passed through the two Ouroboros-like rings, and turned into soft golden light sprinkling toward Zarc.

"Heh, Supreme King Gate Zero's effect makes the damage I receive 0, and Infinity's effect makes my Life Points recover." Zarc said.

【Zarc, LP 4000 → LP 4200】

Zarc continued to provoke: "What a pity, just meaningless attacks."

"Two hundred health, just absorb it if you like." Fujiki You Xuan smiled indifferently, "I then activate Magic Card 'Devil's Sanctuary'. This card can Special Summon one 'Metal Fiend Token' on my field."

The six-pointed star magic circle of the summon appeared, and a strange humanoid puppet made entirely of silver-white spheres of different sizes appeared, clearly reflecting Zarc's image on that smooth and bright body.

【Metal Fiend Token, ATK 0】

"Then activate the monster effect of 'Pharaoh's Descent'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "This card can add one arbitrary Continuous Trap Card from the deck to your hand by releasing any one Angel-type, Fiend-type, or Reptile-type monster on your field.

But as a price, after this effect is activated, I cannot Special Summon any monsters until the end of this turn."

Fujiki You Xuan pointed to the strange metal puppet on the field.

"Metal Fiend Token is a Fiend-type, so I release the token and activate Pharaoh's effect."

The puppet immediately dissipated into golden light spots. Pharaoh held the scepter with both hands and pounded it on the ground twice, and the light spots immediately gathered into a brand new card in mid-air, falling into Fujiki You Xuan's hand.

"I add 'Imperial Order' from the deck to my hand!"

Zarc: "!"

Zarc's face indeed changed for a moment when he saw this card.

"So that's it!" Judai said, "Imperial Order, as long as it is activated and exists on the field, it can make all Magic Card effects permanently negated, the ultimate nightmare for any deck that relies on Magic Cards!"

Yusei said: "That's right. And as a monster card used as a Pendulum Scale, it is treated as a Magic Card in terms of rules.

In other words..."

"Zarc's Pendulum will be permanently negated! So Fujiki You Xuan chose to destroy the monster just now and didn't care about the Pendulum Scales." Yuma said excitedly, "So Fujiki You Xuan had already prepared countermeasures!"

Zarc's face also darkened a bit: "Imperial Order, using this kind of thing to deal with me...

... Good boy, you're good, you have guts."

Just as several people said, Zarc is the source of Pendulum, Pendulum is his pride, and it naturally has no small impact on his deck. So having an Imperial Order to watch over his scales is undoubtedly a good choice.

Of course, it is also a choice that is very easy to make Pendulum users' blood pressure rise.

"Of course not, I know it won't be that simple." Fujiki You Xuan said easily, "After all, you are a Demon King who dominates a dimension, even if there is some exaggeration, but if it's only at this level, of course it should be able to be dealt with."

Although he couldn't be sure what means Zarc would use and what cards he would draw specifically, he had only pulled out a self-closing card for targeting, and it was expected that the opponent could draw corresponding countermeasures.

"So the moment Imperial Order was destroyed by you, this card was further triggered by you."

Fujiki You Xuan slowly raised his hand.

"Trap Card 'Blizzard'!"

The biting cold wind was released from the trap, and the biting cold wind condensed into a materialized blizzard. The snowflakes rotated like blades, accurately rushing toward Zarc's back row.

"Blizzard is a card that can only be activated when a trap card controlled by the opponent destroys your own trap card and sends it to the Graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said, "You can destroy the Magic/Trap Card on the opponent's field!

The one I want to destroy is of course...

Fujiki You Xuan pointed to the opponent's back row.

"Destroy your Pendulum Scales."

Zarc frowned: "So that's it. Using Imperial Order to seal my Pendulum is the first move, but you also considered the situation where the Order would be countered by me, so you also set a second insurance, huh?"

"Amazing, Fujiki You Xuan!" Yuma also expressed admiration without hesitation again, "By using double insurance, you indeed targeted Pendulum, Zarc's Pendulum Summon is completely sealed..."
