Chapter 1513

"Destroy Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong!"

The Monitor pointed at the Bai Bai Linglong on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

Fujiki You Xuan naturally couldn't let him pass, so he snapped his fingers crisply again with a 'pop'.

"Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong, effect activates. During my or the opponent's turn, I can release this card that was Synchro Summoned, and special summon one Dragon-type Light-attribute Synchro monster other than 'Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong' from the Extra Deck in Defense Position."

"However, the monster special summoned using this effect must be destroyed at the end of this turn."

While speaking, the entire body of Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong was shrouded in holy white light, and its figure soon dispersed into thousands of white light spots. The light spots gathered again, as if countless tiny ice crystals appeared in the sky.

Those ice crystals floated and rotated in the air, gradually condensing into a huge silver vortex. The center of the vortex flickered with dark blue light, and a dragon shadow intertwined with pure silver and ice blue emerged from it.

That dragon, which had a more slender body than Blue-Eyes, had scales that presented a metallic, cold luster.

Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!

【Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, DEF 3000】

In this way, the target of Atlantean Heavy Infantry's card destruction was also lost, and the effect became an empty activation.

"Beautiful," Judai smiled, "Using only one 'Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong' monster, he defended against the opponent's two-stage Atlantean destruction."

Atlantean Marksman, Atlantean Heavy Infantry, two consecutive card destruction attempts were all defended against by Fujiki You Xuan's Bai Bai Linglong effect.

"It's not just that," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "By the way, the moment Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon was successfully summoned, its effect also activated."

"When this card is successfully special summoned, until the end of the next turn, all face-up Dragon-type monsters on my field cannot be targeted by any of the opponent's card effects and cannot be destroyed by card effects!"

Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon roared, and a pale silver energy fluctuation was immediately released, like an invisible energy barrier covering Fujiki You Xuan's entire field.

Fujiki You Xuan smiled lightly and scanned the card covered in the opponent's backrow: "What a pity. It seems that 'Sea Stealth Attack,' which is your ace, can no longer play a role."

The Monitor frowned slightly.

This guy, he knows the effect of Sea Stealth Attack...

Sea Stealth Attack was indeed one of the most powerful aces in his Umi deck.

When Sea Stealth Attack is activated, you can search for a Field Spell "Umi" from the Deck to your field. And when the Field Spell "Umi" exists on the field, Sea Stealth Attack can exert its true power.

One of the most important effects is that when a Water-attribute monster with an original level of 5 or higher on your field battles an opponent's monster, you can destroy the opponent's monster at the start of the Damage Step without calculating battle damage.

This effect is clearly modeled after Tsunami's fighting style in DM—letting his monsters hide in the sea and constantly dragging the opponent's monsters into the depths of the sea to destroy them directly. Even if the opponent's monster's attack power is higher than his own, it's useless.

It's just that the duel rules were not perfect back then, and that scene felt more like nonsense. After the duel rules were perfected in later generations, this enhanced card of the Umi series was released, writing this special mechanism into the rules and restoring it as a card effect.

But now his ace "Sea Stealth Attack" hadn't even had time to be opened, and this strongest killing move was equivalent to being temporarily locked.

Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon can make all Dragon-types immune to effect destruction during this turn and the next, so Sea Stealth Attack's monster destruction effect lost its meaning. Fujiki You Xuan could directly use a White Dragon or something to directly beat down the Monitor's Citadel Whale—losing the condition of having a "Level 5 or higher Water-attribute" on the field, Sea Stealth Attack also lost its meaning.

However, he still had a countermeasure.

"Then Level 2, Tuner monster 'Deep Sea Diva'!"

"Level 7, Mermail Abyssdine'!"

"Tune!"

【2+7=9】

Fujiki You Xuan: "Oh? You tune too?"

"Synchro Summon! Level 9—"

"—Hot Red Dragon Archfiend!"

Like a chariot built by a Red Dragon, with heavy metal tracks like a tank, the mechanical Red Dragon was full of machine guns and cannons from head to toe, like a mobile fortress.

"The effect of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend activates!" The Monitor said, "Once per turn, I can banish one Tuner monster from my hand, Graveyard, or face-up monsters, and destroy one card on the field!"

"Oh?" Fujiki You Xuan said calmly, "But you should know that Dragon-type monsters cannot be destroyed."

"I know."

The Monitor said.

"But there is more than just Dragon-types on your field." The Monitor said, having already taken the Tuner monster that exited from the Graveyard, "I banish the Tuner monster 'Deep Sea Diva' from the Graveyard, and destroy 'Maiden with Eyes of Blue' on your field!"

The Diva turned into a phantom and disappeared, and the energy was absorbed into the Archfiend's body. The Red Dragon's tank ammunition was filled, all gun barrels were locked, and artillery fire was fired continuously, as if turning into a sea of fire and rushing towards Fujiki You Xuan's location.

"So extravagant, actually using this kind of effect for the Maiden," Fujiki You Xuan shrugged and waved his hand, "Then activate set card, Trap card 'Synchro Transmission'!"

Monitor: "Synchro Transmission?"

"Yes, Synchro Transmission can be activated during your or the opponent's Main Phase," Fujiki You Xuan said in a light tone, "In your or the opponent's turn, I can use the effect of this card to perform a Synchro Summon for any Synchro monster."

Monitor: "Synchro during my turn?"

"Indeed. Therefore, Level 1 Tuner monster 'Maiden with Eyes of Blue', Level 8 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon', tune!"

【1+8=9】

"The final fortress floating in the clouds, crush all invaders under the city! Synchro Summon Level 9, Cloudcastle!"

Accompanied by a deafening bell, the Synchro starlight condensed into a ball of light and rotated rapidly in the sky, gradually stretching into a giant floating city. The city walls seemed to be made of obsidian, with countless wind chimes hanging under the eaves, and the sound waves released from time to time spread like substantial black flames.

【Cloudcastle, DEF 3000】

"Cloudcastle?" The Monitor was confused.

"Yes, Cloudcastle," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "The effect of Cloudcastle. When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, I can choose one Level 9 monster from my Graveyard and special summon it."

Level 9 monsters are rare, so the scope of this effect is not wide. But it just so happens that the Blue-Eyes deck is just right.

"Come on, resurrected from the Graveyard," Fujiki You Xuan raised his hand, "Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong!"

The Bai Bai Linglong that had just left the field turned into a beam of white light again and was summoned back to the field.

Blue-Eyes Bai Bai Linglong, resurrected!
