Chapter 165

"Duel!" x2

【Asuka, LP4000】

【Takahashi, LP4000】

There is still a while before the meeting starts. Hearing that there is a duel to watch, experts from all walks of life gathered around.

"Hmm? That is the Cyber Angel's..."

"Chief Takahashi, right? The most authoritative person in the field." Someone recognized her quickly, "The opponent looks like a little girl. Does anyone know her?"

"I heard it seems to be a freshman at Duel Academy..."

"Ha? Really?"

"..."

Gold medal commentator Misawa has also taken his place, standing side-by-side next to Fujiki You Xuan.

"The opponent is an authoritative expert, and it happens to be the same type of deck as student Tenjoin... Do you think she's okay?"

"Experts only mean the results are powerful, it doesn't necessarily mean the dueling is that strong... Besides, even if we compare research results, we are not worse than others now, right?" Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"That's what you say..."

"It's okay, just watch." Fujiki You Xuan patted Misawa on the shoulder, confident, "No problem."

"..."

"Then let the first move be yours, little sister."

Takahashi showed the demeanor of a master, generously giving up the first move.

Asuka nodded and didn't be polite: "Then my turn, draw card!"

After she drew the card, she quickly browsed her hand, recalling the new paths after Cyber received strengthening these days.

And the deck construction redone according to the new characteristics after strengthening under Fujiki You Xuan's suggestion.

"Then first is this Spell card 'Terraforming'!" Asuka said, "Add a Field Spell card from the deck to the hand.

I add the Field Spell 'Ritual Sanctuary' from the deck to my hand!"

Chief Takahashi nodded slightly. This field was also a card developed by their association before, having the ability to search for key components from the deck.

"Then activate Field Spell!"

As Asuka inserted the card into the Duel Disk, the field changed rapidly, and a huge church rose from the ground. Sunlight spilled through the stained glass, casting mottled shadows, roses fell all over the sky, and the Bible and cross were placed on the beautifully decorated altar.

"'Ritual Sanctuary' can add a Ritual Spell or a LIGHT Ritual monster from the deck to the hand by discarding a Spell card from the hand."

Asuka sent a card from her hand to the Graveyard, then searched from the deck.

"Add 'Cyber Angel - Benten' from the deck to the hand!" Asuka said, "Then activate Spell card 'Preparation of Rites'! Add a Ritual monster of level 7 or lower from the deck to the hand, then recover a Ritual Spell from the Graveyard.

I add the level 5 'Cyber Angel - Natasha' from the deck to my hand, and return the Ritual Spell 'Machine Angel Ritual' that I just discarded to the Graveyard!"

"Natasha?" Chief Takahashi was shocked.

There is such a Cyber Angel? Why don't I know?

"Oh, this is a new card we just completed yesterday, so it might not be written in the paper." Asuka showed the Ritual monster searched from the deck, "Just taking this opportunity of the duel, please give me more guidance, Chief."

Takahashi was shocked: "You... you just spent these few days, and even completed an unprecedented new card!?"

Even the other experts from other fields watching the meeting felt it was outrageous when they heard this, and couldn't help but cast suspicious gazes at the few students from Duel Academy.

A new card that even the Chief of the Association has never heard of...

Are these few really students?

"Interesting, really interesting." Chief Takahashi's expression became more and more expectant, "Then let me see it, the brand new power of Cyber."

"Of course."

Asuka said solemnly.

"Activate Ritual Spell 'Machine Angel Ritual' from the hand! Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total levels equal or exceed the Ritual monster you Ritual Summon, and Ritual Summon a 'Cyber Angel' monster!"

She showed the two Ritual monsters she just searched.

"I tribute the level 6 'Cyber Angel - Benten' to Ritual Summon!"

Asuka raised her hand.

"Angel of light with hidden healing power, bring holy healing with a beautiful body! Descend—

—Cyber Angel - Natasha!!!"

Benten's figure turned into raging fire on the altar, the flames expanded rapidly, and holy light bloomed from it. The fluttering bright red cloak, the four eyes on the golden helmet opened at the same time, and the four-armed angel, half-human and half-beast, descended onto the field.

【Cyber Angel - Natasha, ATK 1000】

"Has it appeared, the new Cyber Angel."

Stuck in a bottleneck for many years in research, seeing the new angel descend with her own eyes, Chief Takahashi couldn't help but feel excited.

"However, her attack power is only 1000." Chief Takahashi reminded, "Benten's attack power is 1600, why use Benten as a tribute to summon this card?"

Asuka smiled slightly: "'Cyber Angel - Benten', new effect. When this card is used as a tribute, you can add an Angel-type, LIGHT monster from the deck to the hand.

Therefore, I add this card from the deck..."

Asuka searched from the deck again and showed a Ritual monster.

"I add 'Cyber Angel - Idaten' to my hand."

"So that's it, Benten's new ability, only when used as a tribute can it exert its maximum value." Chief Takahashi nodded slightly.

"Then activate the effect of 'Cyber Angel - Natasha'!" Asuka said, "Once per turn, select a face-up monster on your field.

Your Life Points recover half the attack power of that monster.

I choose 'Cyber Angel - Natasha' herself, and recover LP equal to half her attack power, which is 500 points!"

【Asuka, LP4000 -> LP4500】

"Life Point recovery type ability." Chief Takahashi held her chin, "Cyber Angel focusing on defense type? It's really rare."

Asuka smiled slightly.

Natasha's ability is far more than that.

But she didn't say a word.

"My turn is over."

"Then my turn, draw card." Chief Takahashi said, "Activate Spell card 'Graceful Charity', draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from the hand."

But one of the cards discarded soon popped out again.

"Discarding one of the cards from the hand is the Spell card 'Compensatory Treasure', draw two cards from the deck when sent from the hand to the Graveyard." (Original card)

The Chief drew the card, then showed the three cards in her hand in one breath.

"Spell card 'Polymerization'!

Fuse 'Blade Skater' and 'Cyber Tutu' in the hand! Fusion Summon—

—Cyber Blader!!!"

Skater and Tutu disappeared in the fusion vortex, the slender skater slid over on ice blades, her long hair fluttering, her figure spinning lightly.

【Cyber Blader, ATK 2100】

Asuka waited intently.

This is also a big monster often used in her own deck, the Fusion ace of Cyber.

"I'm going to go for it, little sister from Duel Academy." Chief Takahashi said, "Let me see your new power as Cyber Angel!"
