Chapter 203: Alpha's Belief

"Infinite ATK, infinite monster destruction..."

If he wasn't a robot, Alpha might have started swallowing his saliva.

The calm-looking Yellow-Clad boy in front of him became more and more abstract and terrifying in his eyes. Under the hazy moonlight, combined with the huge puppet that had infinite ATK and was gloomy on his field, he actually looked like a ghost for a moment.

Is this person really just a student? Alpha's mind flashed with thoughts.

Can I win against this kind of opponent?

No, before that...

Did the Father who gave him the task of "bringing this person back" actually have any opinions about him secretly?

"Set a card, turn end." Zhang Ka said.

Alpha then came back to his senses.

No, that's not right.

Father trusts me. He has studied all of Kaiba Seto's duels and all his tactics. Father sent me here because he believes in my ability.

And he will definitely not live up to that trust.

"My turn, draw card!"

Alpha's gaze was firm.

Isn't it just an infinite ATK? Watch me crush it!

"Standby Phase, activate Set Card, Quick-Play Spell 'Very Food'. Send 'Nightmare's Mirage' to the Graveyard, I recover 1000 Life Points."

【Alpha, LP4000 -> LP5000】

Zhang Ka looked calmly.

Wow, it's actually Very Food, I really didn't guess it at all...

"Then it's the effect of 'Arkbrave Dragon' in the Graveyard!" Alpha said, "During the Standby Phase of the turn after this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon another Level 7 to 8 Dragon-type from your Graveyard.

I want to revive this card..."

He raised his arm high.

"Regenerate with pitch-black flames! Level 7, Darkblaze Dragon!"

Dark flames erupted, and the giant dragon shrouded in flames flapped its wings and soared from the vortex of the underworld.

【Darkblaze Dragon, ATK 1200】

"Darkblaze Dragon's effect, when this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, its ATK doubles!"

【Darkblaze Dragon, ATK 1200 -> ATK 2400】

"Of course, it's still not worth mentioning in front of the Magical Marionette with infinite ATK... You must be thinking so, right?

But the power of my Dragon-type is not just that!"

He played another Spell Card.

"Spell Card 'Fiend's Sanctuary', Special Summon a 'Metal Fiend Token' to my field!"

【Metal Fiend Token, ATK 0】

"Then Tribute 'Metal Fiend Token', Tribute Summon!

Level 6, 'Gravity Behemoth'!"

【Gravity Behemoth, ATK 2400】

"Gravity Behemoth's effect! Send a face-up Continuous Spell on your field to the Graveyard, you can select a monster on the opponent's field and destroy it!"

Alpha pulled out the card in the Duel Disk slot.

"Send 'Ruins of the Divine Dragon Lord' to the Graveyard, 'Magical Marionette' destroyed!"

The ancient Dragon-type sculpture shattered into powder, and the fluctuation of gravity erupted. The infinite-ATK Magical Marionette was also unable to resist the gravity invasion, and shattered under the crushing of invisible power.

"Hahahaha! See? This is my power that has surpassed infinity!"

Alpha, who solved the infinite-ATK big monster, laughed loudly.

"Father trusts me, and no matter what, no matter how many times, I will respond to his trust, and I must! Kaiba Seto has power, and I have it too!"

Zhang Ka still shook his head.

"So you said you studied all his duels, all his tactics, and you only learned this? The suppression of absolute power, is that all?"

"What?" Alpha frowned, "What do you want to say?"

"I want to say, then this artificial 'intelligence' of yours doesn't seem very 'intelligent', and it's no different from the blind imitation of third- or fourth-rate duelists."

"What did you say..."

Alpha was about to attack, but suddenly thought of something and immediately stopped.

"Hmph, almost fell for your trick. Indeed, the information says you are the worst type who is good at disturbing people's hearts and enjoys giving opponents double torture from the psychological and dueling levels, can't fall for your trick..."

Zhang Ka's expression was strange.

Who wrote the evaluation? It's simply slander.

How could I be so evil?

"Let you down, but I won't follow your pace!"

Alpha paused and muttered to himself in a deep voice.

"If you are watching, Father, please witness the power after my progress. I will never let you down..."

He raised his head firmly.

"Battle Phase! First is 'Darkblaze Dragon', attack 'Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu'!"

Darkblaze Dragon let out a high-pitched dragon roar, spitting out hellish black flames from its mouth!

Although the two dragons on the field have the same ATK, he would naturally attack with Darkblaze Dragon first. Because Darkblaze Dragon has the effect of "inflicting damage to the opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster", Flame Wingman calls it an expert.

If he attacks with Gravity Behemoth first, he can only cause 600 battle damage. Darkblaze Dragon adds an attack, and the total output this turn is only 3000, which cannot be killed in one turn.

But if Darkblaze Dragon destroys Iron Blacksmith, the battle plus effect damage totals 2400, plus Gravity Behemoth's follow-up attack, it can inflict 4800 output in one breath, directly completing the OTK.

Alpha's eyes flashed with essence.

Win the game within this turn!

"It's really a terrible momentum for an AI." Zhang Ka muttered.

Boom!

The flames swept across his half of the field, and the pitch-black flames were like a storm reaching the sky.

【Zhang Ka, LP4000 -> LP3400】

"Very good!" Alpha shouted, "Then Darkblaze Dragon's effect, then will inflict the ATK of the destroyed monster..."

"What a pity, but it won't."

Zhang Ka smiled.

Alpha's face changed slightly.

The smoke cleared, and only Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu was still intact.

"What?"

"I banished this card from the Graveyard." Zhang Ka revealed a card in the Graveyard, "Shield Warrior. Banish this card from the Graveyard to protect a monster on your field from being destroyed by battle."

"Tch, discarded during Hand Destruction... Then 'Gravity Behemoth' continue to attack!"

This time there was no shield protection, Iron Blacksmith raised his arm to block, but was still crushed to the ground by the brute force, his body and a suit of iron armor shattered.

【Zhang Ka, LP3400 -> LP2800】

"Then activate Set Card, Trap Card 'Time Machine'." Zhang Ka said, "You can revive the monster destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard in the same display form.

I revive 'Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu'."

The pitch-black mechanical device appeared on the field, mist emerged, like time flowing backward. As time turned back, the shattered fragments were reorganized into the form of iron armor, and Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu returned to the field.

【Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu, ATK 1800】

"Damn! Is this thing an immortal body?" Alpha became increasingly irritable.

Iron Blacksmith, it's that Iron Blacksmith again.

And the opponent's hand clearly holds that 'Butterfly Dagger - Elma' that can be salvaged infinitely. If Iron Blacksmith is not solved, God knows what strange ideas he can come up with to torture himself next turn.

Must think of some way...

"Activate Spell Card 'Card of Sanctity'!" Alpha said, "During the turn you performed a Tribute Summon, draw two cards from the deck. But the cards drawn cannot be used this turn, and if they can be set, at least one must be set." (Original card)

He cannot lose.

He promised Father he would complete the mission, and he must not fall in such a place.

"Draw card!"

Two new cards in hand, a glimmer of spirit suddenly appeared in Alpha's eyes.

Right, if there is this card...

"Set two cards to the back row." Alpha said, "Turn end."
