Chapter 208

"Duel!" x2

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP4000】

【Kagurazaka, LP4000】

"Hmm, it seems I'm going first," Fujiki You Xuan looked down at his duel disk.

"Heh, it doesn't matter," Kagurazaka put his hands on his hips. "Having obtained the strongest deck, it's impossible for me to lose again; it doesn't matter if I go first or second.

Compared to the students in this academy—even you—dueling is nothing more than playing around."

"You've really fully entered the role..."

However, Fujiki You Xuan thought to himself that what's awesome isn't the pile of cards in your hand, but the person using that pile of cards.

"Well, but if the opponent is that deck, this deck might just be suitable," Fujiki You Xuan smiled and accepted the first move without being polite. "My turn, draw card.

Activate the Spell Card 'Graceful Charity', draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from my hand.

Then activate this card..."

Fujiki You Xuan raised his arm, and the image of the Spell Card appeared in front of him.

"Quick-Play Spell - Spellbook Organization. I can check the top three cards of my deck..."

He drew three cards in one breath, swapped their order, and re-inserted them into the deck.

"Change them in any order I like, then return them to the top of the deck."

Kagurazaka muttered: "Changing the order of the deck... increasing the probability of a certain combination appearing?"

He had studied and analyzed the decks of all the celebrities in the academy, but Fujiki You Xuan was the one he couldn't learn to understand the most; the tactical ideas of the decks he pulled out every time were completely different, and it was completely impossible to understand his thinking just from these finished products.

But Kagurazaka noticed that Fujiki You Xuan especially liked to suddenly pull out various strange combos that made people's eyes go dark.

"Set one monster, and set one card," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Turn end."

"Although I don't know what the tactic is, it's useless against me now! My turn, draw card!" Kagurazaka said. "I also activate the Spell Card 'Graceful Charity'!

Draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from my hand.

Then activate the Spell Card 'Silent Doom'! Revive a Normal Monster from the Graveyard in Defense Position!"

【Queen's Knight, Defense 1600】

"Then Normal Summon 'King's Knight'!"

【King's Knight, Attack 1600】

The area where both were located was already near the Ra Yellow dormitory, and although it was late, it wasn't completely devoid of passersby. At this time, a Ra Yellow student passed by and immediately pointed in this direction: "It seems there's a duel over there!"

"Hmm? It's actually 'that person' from Ra Yellow; is there actually someone in Ra Yellow who dares to duel him..."

"Wait a second, I just heard that the Duel King's deck was stolen. Do you guys think that looks like..."

"Nani!?"

Seeing Fujiki You Xuan dueling was already quite an eye-catching thing in Ra Yellow, and coupled with the gimmick of the "Duel King's deck," a large group of students nearby were immediately attracted.

The Lord in Yellow vs. the Duel King's deck!

It was simply the drama of the year.

"Heh, very good, it seems more people are going to see the moment I take the No. 1 spot in Ra Yellow," Kagurazaka was unprecedentedly inflated. "Then watch closely, this is the King's duel!

King's Knight's effect! When this card is summoned and 'Queen's Knight' exists on my field, Special Summon 'Jack's Knight' from the deck!"

【Jack's Knight, Attack 1900】

Among the students, a fan of Yugi was immediately very excited: "I know! This is the three knights that summon the gods! The knight combination Yugi Wu Teng used back in the day specifically to summon the Egyptian God!"

To put it bluntly, it's the tribute trio.

"Hmph, it's a pity there's no Egyptian God in this deck. But the combination between my monsters is completely enough to make up for this regret," Kagurazaka shouted. "I activate the Spell Card 'Royal Straight Flush' from my hand!

Tribute 'Queen's Knight', 'Jack's Knight', and 'King's Knight' from my field, and Special Summon this card from my deck..."

The three musketeers turned into points of light and dissipated, and the energy gathered as if constructing a gate of summoning. Violent golden energy turbulence erupted from the gate, and a majestic swordsman with his hand on the hilt of his sword appeared from the vortex.

"Royal Straight Slasher, summon!"

【Royal Straight Slasher, Attack 2400】

Royal Straight Flush, the original version was a Normal Spell Card, and it was only many years later that Konami suddenly remembered it and it had the chance to be released as a physical card. And the physical card was changed into a Quick-Play Spell, receiving a wave of buffs.

As soon as the swordsman with the flying cloak appeared, the students around were immediately in an uproar.

"The legendary monster!"

"It really is a monster used by the Duel King, so cool..."

"..."

Kagurazaka enjoyed the cheers all around, as if it were himself who was being praised. He waved his hand and continued to operate.

"Royal Straight Slasher's effect, once per turn, send one monster of each level from 1 to 5 from the deck to the Graveyard, and destroy all cards on the opponent's field!"

He pulled out his deck and picked out five cards in one breath, sending them to the Graveyard with a rustle.

"Send five monsters from level 1 to 5 to the Graveyard, and all your cards on the field will be destroyed!

Royal Straight Destruction!"

The swordsman struck with the blade in his hand, and the storm of sword energy swept the entire field! Fujiki You Xuan's face-down monster and the face-down card in the back row were all swept into the air and shredded to pieces, and everyone caught a glimpse that the face-down card was "Mirror Force."

"The defense line of Mirror Force has been disintegrated..." a student couldn't help but say. "So impressive, summoning such a monster on the very first turn and completing a board wipe..."

"Is this the Duel King's deck? So strong..."

"Hahaha, I said it, with this deck now, I am invincible!" Kagurazaka shouted. "No matter how many traps, no matter how many tricks, it's useless!

Even if it's the indescribable legend of Ra Yellow!"

Looking at Kagurazaka, who was inflated to the extreme, Fujiki You Xuan wanted to say, no, no, you might not know how the owner of the deck you are using was sent away in the end. He definitely wouldn't agree with your theory that "no matter how many traps, it's useless."

"Go, Royal Straight Slasher, direct attack!" Kagurazaka continued to inflate, launching an attack with high morale. "Royal Destruction Slash!"

The swordsman who completed the board wipe jumped forward, and the sword light slashed towards Fujiki You Xuan, who had a completely empty field.

"To think you've won just because of this level, it seems you haven't learned anything from the Duel King's deck," Fujiki You Xuan chuckled.

"What?" Kagurazaka frowned.

"Then I'll give you a little hint," Fujiki You Xuan slowly raised his arm. "The true trump card power of the Duel King, Yugi Wu Teng."

Kagurazaka felt a chill in his heart.

Yugi Wu Teng's true trump card? Could it be Dark Magician...

"Activate the effect of 'Clear Kuriboh' in the Graveyard," Fujiki You Xuan said. "When the opponent's monster declares a direct attack, banish this card from the Graveyard and draw one card from the deck.

If the drawn card is a monster, Special Summon that monster, and the attack target is transferred to that monster."

Kagurazaka: "!"

In the Graveyard... Kuriboh!?

Clear Kuriboh is a card used by Yugi Wu Teng during his last public tournament duel against Seto Kaiba a few years ago.

Of course, Atum was no longer there at that time, and the one dueling Kaiba was Yugi.

And the display deck Kagurazaka got was the deck left behind by Dark Yugi Atum back in the day. Even that display deck didn't have this Kuriboh card.

Kagurazaka gave a 'tsk' and said in a deep voice: "But even so, you have to happen to draw a monster card..."

Kagurazaka: "!?"

Before he could finish speaking, his pupils shrank, and he realized something was wrong.

That Spellbook Organization from the previous turn...

The card on top of the opponent's deck was decided by the opponent themselves. So since Fujiki You Xuan activated the effect of Clear Kuriboh, then the card on top was naturally a monster card.

"According to the effect of Clear Kuriboh, draw card."

Fujiki You Xuan drew the card calmly and slapped it down without even looking at it.

"Special Summon 'D. D. Warrior Lady' in Defense Position.

And according to the effect of 'Clear Kuriboh', your 'Royal Straight Slasher' must forcibly attack 'D. D. Warrior Lady'."

Kagurazaka: "Nani!?"
