Chapter 263: He's not human

The deck Fujiki You Xuan used this time was not the "Monarch Control" build that won the world championship back then—after all, he only had one Monarch "Raiza the Storm Monarch" on hand, and couldn't perform a Monarch build control.

However, he was using another equally powerful top-tier deck from back then, the 【Blast Raiza】 deck that took shape shortly after Raiza the Storm Monarch was released. The deck name was composed of its two core cards, "Raiza the Storm Monarch" and the Trap card "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast."

So it was clear that this was a "deck-top control" deck specialized in bouncing the opponent's cards back to the top of the deck.

Anyone who has eaten similar moves should understand how disgusting this move is. It's like this in reality, and it's even more prominent in the anime world where god-draws are rampant.

For example, now, looking at that guy on the opposite side who looks like he's about to cry...

Fujiki You Xuan sent a card from his hand into the Graveyard area of the duel disk.

"Therefore, I discard one card from my hand, and bounce 'Darkstorm Dragon' back to the top of the Deck."

Delta was furious.

He had only one card left in his hand, and it wasn't a card that could bring hope for a comeback in this situation. And if Darkstorm Dragon was bounced back to the top of the deck again, even if he could survive until his next turn, when he drew a card, he would inevitably draw Darkstorm Dragon back to his hand, and then the remaining two cards in his hand would be unusable no matter what.

That would turn into the old saying—

——Some people are alive, but they are already dead.

Can it only end here?

Delta looked up with difficulty, looking forward, looking at Fujiki You Xuan in front of him, only feeling that this person's figure was infinitely magnified in his sight, sometimes like an insurmountable mountain, as if abstracted into a giant called fate.

Perhaps the opponent is right.

This card that was finally bounced back to the top of the deck was his destined fate. He tried his best, but everything he did was ultimately meaningless, just a futile struggle.

In the end, he couldn't change anything, just like he was destined to only draw this "Darkstorm Dragon" back in the next turn.

"Sorry, Father."

He closed his eyes involuntarily.

But the enemy is too strong.

Closing his eyes, the image of the man seemed to appear in front of him again.

Still expressionless, and didn't make any sound. But even so, that gaze was still like a cold steel knife, as if it had slashed heavily on his heart.

The pain made him wake up.

"No, it's not over yet."

He opened his eyes again, and his own promise from the past echoed in his ears.

"I will never let you down."

He is the most excellent one among all the children, the one with all the high hopes and the most special one from Father. He cannot fail.

"Chain 'Phoenix Wing Wind Blast', activate face-down card!" Delta shouted. "Quick-Play Spell——

——Magical Textbook!" (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan frowned.

Seems to be... an anime original card? What was it?

"Must discard all cards in hand to activate."

Delta discarded his hand to the Graveyard and said in a deep voice.

"Draw one card from the top of the Deck. If that card is a Spell card, I can ignore the activation cost and apply the effect directly. If not, discard it to the Graveyard."

Oh, Fujiki You Xuan remembered it now, a card used by the King of Games. In the arena in the sky, the moment Kaiba's Obelisk the Tormentor attacked Dark Yugi's Slifer the Sky Dragon, Dark Yugi activated this card and discarded his entire hand, then god-drew a "Card of Sanctity" in one go, instantly boosting Slifer's attack power to 6000, leaving Kaiba dumbfounded.

This is indeed Delta's last chance to activate this card. If the effect of Phoenix Wing Wind Blast is processed and "Darkstorm Dragon" is bounced back to the top of the deck, then if he activates Magical Textbook again, he will inevitably draw Darkstorm Dragon, and it cannot be a Spell card, so he will basically be dead in the next turn.

This is Delta's last desperate move, the last draw betting everything.

"Interesting." Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes slightly.

An AI created by humans, even if it has such an unwavering fighting belief, can it god-draw like a duelist who truly possesses destiny power?

In this way, after the effect is processed, Delta will be completely empty-handed and empty-field.

He looked at his deck, reached out and placed it on the top of the deck, and closed his eyes.

In the darkness, the image of Father appeared in front of him again.

"..."

"——Draw!"

Delta drew a card, then held it high.

"Spell Card——

——Dragon's Mirror!"

Fujiki You Xuan raised an eyebrow.

Good guy, he really managed to pull it off.

"Dragon's Mirror's effect, perform a Fusion Summon for a Fusion Monster by banishing the fusion material monsters from the Graveyard!"

Delta shouted, and five cards in the Graveyard were ejected one after another.

"I banish 'Tyrant Dragon' from the Graveyard, 'Bombardment Dragon' and 'Prayer Dragon' discarded by Graceful Charity, 'Frost and Flame Dragon' destroyed last turn, and 'Army Dragon' discarded as the cost for Magical Textbook...

A total of five Dragon-types fuse!"

Five dragons appeared one after another, and were successively drawn into the vortex of fusion.

The vortex of five colors—earth, water, fire, wind, and dark—bloomed, turning into a dazzling pillar of light that shot into the sky. The divine dragon spread its golden wings, and the huge divine dragon descended as if blotting out the sky!

"The strongest and most evil combined divine dragon in the world, descend with the power to break through fate——

——Five-Headed Dragon, summon!!!"

【Five-Headed Dragon, ATK 5000】

The ceiling of Yu-Gi-Oh! basic stats, the earliest five-fold combination in history, Five-Headed Dragon descends!

Fujiki You Xuan looked up at the domineering divine dragon, but seemed to be able to feel the astonishing pressure from the storm of elements. It seems that although Five-Headed Dragon is ridiculed by players as "a small fry that doesn't even count as a wall," the pressure as a Duel Monster is still quite sufficient.

"Five-Headed Dragon, direct attack!"

Delta was almost roaring at the top of his lungs.

The five mouths of the Five-Headed Divine Dragon opened at the same time, and the breaths of five elements condensed in their mouths, as if to turn into a world-destroying blow.

Fujiki You Xuan's front field was empty, facing the vortex in the Five-Headed Dragon's mouth but without any fear, only saying to himself: "Even the obsession of an AI can reach this point.

Then at least in terms of dueling, it is an opponent worthy of respect."

He paused and smiled slightly.

"However..."

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand, and the vortex leading to the Graveyard opened.

"Effect of 'Kuribohrn' in the Graveyard activates."

Delta was taken aback: "Kuribohrn? When... the card discarded last turn?"

"When the opponent's monster declares an attack, banish this card from the Graveyard, and I can Special Summon any number of 'Kuriboh' monsters from my Graveyard."

Fujiki You Xuan pulled out a card ejected from the Graveyard.

"I revive 'Winged Kuriboh' from my Graveyard!"

【Winged Kuriboh, DEF 200】

"This guy again?" Delta clicked his tongue. "Really troublesome... then battle replay, Five-Headed Dragon attacks 'Winged Kuriboh'..."

"Don't be in a hurry." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "There is also this card, this is the latest research result that our laboratory has not yet published."

Since getting Raiza the Storm Monarch, he specially established a special project team related to Monarchs to carry out scientific research and development on new cards in the Monarch series.

"What?" Delta had another ominous premonition.

"Trap Card 'Dark Tribute Summon'." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Return a monster with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF from my Graveyard to my hand.

And after that, I can perform a Tribute Summon for a monster with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF from my hand."

Delta was shocked.

Tribute Summon during the opponent's turn!?

And a monster with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF, isn't that...

"Correct, therefore I return 'Raiza the Storm Monarch' from my Graveyard to my hand." Fujiki You Xuan said calmly. "Then use 'Winged Kuriboh' on the field as an Offering, Tribute Summon!

The Monarch who rides the wind, descend once again——

——Raiza the Storm Monarch, summon!"

Winged Kuriboh dissipated into golden light spots, the green storm erupted into the sky, and the majestic Monarch who could not be violated arrived again in the strong wind!

【Raiza the Storm Monarch, ATK 2400】

"Then 'Raiza the Storm Monarch's effect, when summon is successful, return a card on the field to the top of the Deck."

Fujiki You Xuan pointed to Delta's field.

"Return 'Five-Headed Dragon' to the Deck. Of course, because Five-Headed Dragon is a Fusion Monster, it cannot return to the top of the Deck, so it must return to the Fusion Deck."

The hurricane of the Storm Monarch erupted, the green strong wind offset the elemental vortex roared by the Five-Headed Divine Dragon, and then swallowed the five-headed divine dragon until it dissipated in the wind.

Four times' the charm.

Delta opened his mouth, looking at his empty field, as if he wanted to say something, but was speechless.

Only leaving full of sadness, grievance, and unwillingness.

No, why?

Bounced back to the Deck again...

He had already exploded like this, clearly he had already performed beyond his level...

Is this the so-called unshakable fate?

"My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card calmly, then waved his hand again.

"Activate the last face-down card, Trap Card - 'Conscription'.

Check the top card of the opponent's Deck, if that card is a summonable monster, then Special Summon it to my field.

If it is another card, add that card to the opponent's hand."

Delta: "!!!"

Delta, who was still immersed in the grievance of the last turn, almost jumped up.

What?

Conscription!?

Check the top card of his own Deck, isn't that card...

"Come, let me see the top card of your Deck." Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"You... you jerk..."

Delta's face twitched.

However, even if he didn't move himself, the top card of the Deck still popped out obediently and floated into the air to be displayed.

"Ha, my luck is really good."

Fujiki You Xuan took the card that flew into his hand automatically and showed it with a smile.

"It's actually 'Darkstorm Dragon', just right for summoning."

Delta: "..."

He swore that since he was born into this world, he had never wanted to hit someone as much as he did now.

"Then, 'Darkstorm Dragon' Special Summoned to my field."

【Darkstorm Dragon, ATK 2700】

Delta looked up, watching this monster gifted by Father, symbolizing everything he was entrusted with, come to the opposite side of him, and in a trance, he actually seemed to see the phantom of Father from this dragon.

Just standing opposite him, looking at him with the same cold, knife-like gaze as in his memory.

Delta opened his mouth again, but finally shook his head bitterly.

"Battle. Raiza the Storm Monarch, Darkstorm Dragon, direct attack." Fujiki You Xuan ordered.

Delta closed his eyes.

Sorry, Father, but I really tried my best.

But the opponent... he's not human.

【Delta, LP 3900 → LP 0】
