Chapter 329

Quick-Play Spell - Mystical Space Typhoon, activate!

"'Dimensional Fissure', disappear!"

The Demon King widened his eyes until he personally confirmed that the shocking crack had dissipated in the storm and lightning, and then his hanging heart was finally let go.

"Hahaha, not bad tactics. I can see that you have done your homework on my monster deck. Indeed, using Dimensional Fissure to banish the Graveyard can limit most of the power of monsters, and if you adopt cards that can effectively use the power of the banishment system, my situation will become very dangerous."

The Demon King paused, then changed the subject.

"However, my duel is still superior!

Then I will activate Spell card 'Smashing Ground' from my hand!"

The warrior holding a great sword emerged from the image of the Spell card, his eyes wandering between the three face-down cards in Fujiki You Xuan's back row.

"Smashing Ground can destroy and banish face-down Spell and Trap cards. If that card is a Trap card, I can further banish all cards with the same name from both decks from the game."

The Demon King pointed at the face-down card in the middle of Fujiki You Xuan's back row.

"Just that card!"

The apostle raised his great sword and slashed at that face-down card. However, the moment the sword was about to fall, the trajectory of the blade suddenly shifted, and he slashed at the face-down card on the far left.

"What?" The Demon King was startled, "Why didn't it attack the one I specified..."

Then he caught a glimpse of the image of the face-down card that was hit, a Trap card.

"Trap card 'Pan Duola's Box'." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "Can only be activated when the opponent activates an effect that targets a card in my Spell and Trap zone, that target is transferred to this card. After that, I draw two cards from the deck." (Original card)

Pan Duola's Box shattered under the apostle's sword, and Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards.

"Tch, protected by a Trap, huh..."

The Demon King frowned and hummed.

But suddenly he was stunned.

Wait a minute. Pan Duola's Box "can replace destruction when the opponent targets a card in my Spell and Trap zone," which means he should have been able to activate it when he used Mystical Space Typhoon to blow up "Dimensional Fissure," but he didn't.

Why?

Does it mean he thinks this face-down card is more important than "Dimensional Fissure"?

The Demon King sneered in his heart.

But no matter what, as long as he solved this banishment card "Dimensional Fissure," his monster system could run. Whether the opponent's remaining back row is Mirror Force or Magic Cylinder, they are far less serious than a banishment card's suppression of him.

No matter what that face-down card is, he has nothing to fear now.

"I activate 'Uni-Zombie's effect again. Once per turn, send one monster from the deck to the Graveyard."

The Demon King regained his confidence, unfolded the deck, and picked out a monster card, showing it.

"I send 'Mezuki' to the Graveyard!"

"Mezuki, huh." Fujiki You Xuan nodded, "At the beginning of the next turn, I can Special Summon monsters in the Graveyard by banishing this card existing in the Graveyard." (Original effect)

Also the original manga version, not the Zombie-type version modified by Fujiki You Xuan's scientific research.

"Heh, sure enough, you did your homework. But knowing it is useless." The Demon King laughed triumphantly, "The combination of Uni-Zombie and Mezuki can instantly summon the most powerful monsters to the field.

No one can resist under the fierce attack of such a combination!"

"Indeed, it's amazing." Fujiki You Xuan nodded, "So it's troublesome to let Mezuki be sent to the Graveyard.

Therefore, I activate Continuous Trap 'Macro Cosmos'.

As long as Macro Cosmos exists on the field, all cards sent to the Graveyard will not go to the Graveyard, but will be directly banished from the game!"

The Demon King's smile froze again for a second.

And then once again, as if history were repeating itself, the smile gradually disappeared, the facial muscles twisted bit by bit, until it became a quite ferocious and weird expression mixed with pain.

No way, brother? How can you have this kind of thing??

Macro Cosmos... what kind of thing is this that I've never even heard of?

Of course, it's normal that he hasn't heard of it. After all, it was uniquely developed by Professor Daitokuji and is not in circulation outside.

As a banishment-type dark representative that is still active in the environment in modern Yu-Gi-Oh, the shock to the opponent's mentality when seeing this kind of thing for the first time is imaginable.

Especially when the opponent himself is a deck that relies on Graveyard resources to operate, it is even more so.

"When your 'Uni-Zombie' effect is processed, Macro Cosmos has already taken effect." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "Therefore, the 'Mezuki' you chose from the deck will not be sent to the Graveyard, but will be directly banished from the game."

The background like a starry sky occupied the field, and the stars were all over the pitch-black universe. The poor Mezuki was like falling into a turbulent flow of gravity, falling to the other side of the starry sky. The Demon King instinctively reached out in that direction, as if wanting to stay, but he soon realized that what couldn't be kept couldn't be kept, and his Mezuki was directly sucked to the other side of the dimension without a shadow.

"Damn it..."

The fist gradually hardened.

The Demon King turned around and said in a deep voice.

"Remember this, kid. After I win the duel, I will definitely let you know what the end will be for angering me like this."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled without saying a word.

Yugi watched silently, and then became more and more admiring.

He now feels that Fujiki You Xuan is really amazing. He always has various new ways to make the opponent gradually furious while playing, and even distort the operation...

"Tribute 'Demon Raven Tengu' and 'Onmoraki' on the field!"

The Demon King raised his hand and shouted angrily.

"Nine-Tailed Immortal Fox, show the world your power that shakes the sky and moves the earth! Revive from the Graveyard—

—Nine-Tailed Fox, summon!!!"

The soaring flames, the firelight gathered and transformed into an energy-like form. Nine tails that seemed to be burning danced and churned in mid-air, and the flame-like energy gradually transformed into the form of a demon fox.

【Nine-Tailed Fox, ATK 2200】

"Nine-Tailed Fox can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by Tributing two monsters on the field!" (Original effect)

This effect was also restored after being released as a physical card, but it was modified. The manga limited it to using monsters as Tributes, but it could be revived from the dead infinitely many times per turn.

After being released as a physical card, any monster can be used as a Tribute, and this effect can be used to Special Summon from the hand or Graveyard. But the effect of this card name can only be used once per turn.

And when Nine-Tailed Fox is destroyed, it can Special Summon two "Fox Tokens" on its own field.

Obviously, the biggest feature of this monster is its immortality. Every time it is defeated, it leaves two tokens, and as long as the tokens are sacrificed, it can be revived infinitely.

But with the invincible Macro Cosmos on the field, this main characteristic has also been stripped away.

As long as it is knocked down once, Macro Cosmos will kick it into another dimension directly, exiling it on the spot, and it can't be revived from the dead at all.

"Then activate Equip Spell 'Guardian of Order', equip it to 'Uni-Zombie'!" The Demon King continued, "When the equipped monster battles, place a magic counter on this card, and the equipped monster's ATK increases by 500.

And you can remove magic counters to replace any form of destruction of the equipped monster!"

The Demon King waved his hand.

"Battle! First is 'Uni-Zombie', attack 'Survivor of the Different Dimension'!"

Uni-Zombie stepped forward, war hammer slammed. The Equip Spell in the back row bloomed with golden light at the same time, the golden light covered Uni-Zombie's whole body, as if adding a layer of transparent shield.

"At this moment, Uni-Zombie's ATK increases by 500, and magic counters can be used to replace any form of destruction!"

【Uni-Zombie, ATK 1700→ATK 2200】

"The absolute destruction resistance provided by Guardian of Order, that's really troublesome."

Fujiki You Xuan said and waved his hand.

"Then activate Trap 'Karma Cut'. Discard one card from your hand, banish one face-up monster on the opponent's field from the game.

Banish 'Uni-Zombie' from the game!"
