Chapter 492: Heroes Do Not Give Up Lightly

Elemental HERO Thunder Giant, summon!

【Elemental HERO Thunder Giant, ATK 2400】

"The effect of Elemental HERO Thunder Giant!" Jaden said. "When this card is successfully Fusion Summoned, select one face-up monster on the opponent's field with original ATK lower than this card, and destroy that monster!"

"Inferno Wing's original ATK is 2100," the Supreme King said lightly.

"Not bad. And 'Dark Claw' can only substitute for destruction when the monster is destroyed in battle, but it is powerless against monster effects," Jaden said. "Even if evil seems stronger for a while, in the end, heroes will always win!

Thunder Giant, evaporate the electric light!"

Thunder Giant's armor chest brewed ten thousand feet of lightning, gathered in his palms, and the dazzling electric light seemed like thousands of golden spears piercing Inferno Wing!

"Inferno Wing destroyed, the Dark Claw equipped on it is naturally destroyed together!" Jaden said. "Then is the direct attack of Elemental HERO Thunder Giant!

Use the power of thunder to pierce through the darkness!

Volt Thunder!"

Thunder Giant raised his palms high, endless electric light gathered in his palms, and finally turned into a surging thunder dragon, blasting out with roars and hisses!

The electric light fell straight onto the Supreme King, exploding like a thunderbolt. Black smoke rolled up, and a huge deep crater was blasted on the ground. But the Supreme King's figure was still upright, motionless like a tree stump, and his expression didn't change at all, as if he couldn't feel the touch of this real damage that gathered the full power of Thunder Giant at all.

【Supreme King, LP 3200 -> LP 800】

"How about it, can you feel it a little bit now? The power of my heroes!" Jaden said. "This is the correct power!

Dueling should never be a tool used to dominate and harm others!"

The Supreme King slowly opened his eyes. The light shot from his golden pupils pierced through the smoke, and looking straight at it, it was actually a bit palpitating.

"Is that so?" the Supreme King said lightly. "I only feel, it's really weak.

Power of this level has no correctness at all."

"What did you say?" Jaden frowned.

"Activate set card," the Supreme King activated a back row card. "Trap card 'Damage Gate'.

This card can only be activated when I take battle damage. Special Summon one monster from my Graveyard with ATK lower than the damage I took."

The Supreme King drew a monster card from the Graveyard.

"Special Summon 'Elemental HERO Clayman'."

The thick-bodied clay hero returned to the field again. Only this time it was on the opposite side of Jaden, with dangerous light like a thug in his eyes.

【Elemental HERO Clayman, DEF 2000】

Jaden gritted his teeth.

This guy, even after taking such an attack, didn't feel anything at all. Is he really a card-playing machine without feelings?

A monster?

"Set one card, turn end," Jaden said.

"My turn, draw."

The Supreme King drew a card, then casually revealed the spell card.

"Activate spell card 'E - Emergency Call', add one Elemental HERO from the deck to my hand.

The card I want to add from the deck is, 'Elemental HERO Sparkman'."

A searched card flew out of the deck and landed in the Supreme King's hand.

"Actually Sparkman too..." Jaden couldn't help but speak.

"Your hero's weak posture is almost unbearable to look at," the Supreme King said coldly. "Let the darkness liberate the power they should have!

Activate spell card 'Dark Fusion'!

Perform Dark Fusion on 'Elemental HERO Sparkman' in my hand and 'Elemental HERO Clayman' on the field!"

The second Dark Fusion. The dark energy fluctuation was released, then turned into a terrifying vortex. As if connecting to all the gloom and despair in these twelve dimensions, as if swallowing all light and hope. The figures of the two heroes were twisted into that pitch-black void, and then the fluctuation that erupted was like a surging wave. The pitch-black cyclone vaguely outlined the silhouette of a huge torso, then the steel limbs, the head covered by a ferocious helmet, pitch-black thunder woven into a huge body, descending like a monster.

"Fusion Summon—

—Evil HERO Lightning Golem!"

【Evil HERO Lightning Golem, ATK 2400】

"Lightning... Golem?"

Jaden was lost for a moment.

This is, the evil version of Thunder Giant...

He believes more and more now that the person he is facing is undoubtedly the embodiment of his inner darkness.

It's as if it's the opposite of himself, his beloved, proud heroes have all fallen into darkness and turned into such ferocious postures. Evil, yet stronger, without constraints, throwing away all shackles, just like...

Just like himself in his nightmares sometimes.

Supreme King: "Then is the spell card 'Hero's Legacy', if there are three or more Level 4 or higher heroes in my Graveyard, draw three cards from the deck." (Original effect)

"Evil HERO Lightning Golem, effect activate!" the Supreme King shouted sharply. "Lightning Golem once per turn, destroy any one monster on the field.

!. Read

Disappear, weak small fry!

Destroy 'Elemental HERO Thunder Giant'!"

The blackened Evil HERO Lightning Golem looked at his mirror image with a look of near-mocking contempt, only stretched out a finger, and with a light hook of his fingertip, the black fierce thunder pierced through Thunder Giant's body, exploding from within, blowing Thunder Giant into pieces all over the sky.

"Ugh..."

Jaden raised his arm to block the impact and fragments in front of him, saying.

"But my heroes won't fall so easily.

Activate set card, trap card 'Elemental Mirage'!"

The back row set card flipped, projecting a mirror-like structure on Jaden's field.

"Elemental Mirage, can only be activated when an Elemental HERO on my field is destroyed by a card effect," Jaden said. "Special Summon the destroyed Elemental HERO back to the field!" (Original card)

If it were a real-card environment, this card could not be activated, because in reality, Elemental HERO Fusion monsters including Thunder Giant all wrote "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon."

Of course, judging from the various operations like Jaden trying to revive Flame Wingman with Monster Reborn, the Elemental HEROes in the anime don't have this restriction. As long as they have appeared normally, they can naturally use trap effects to revive.

"Come back, Thunder Giant!"

The mirror structure was shattered by the electric light, and Thunder Giant roared and appeared again from the shattered mirror image.

【Elemental HERO Thunder Giant, ATK 2400】

"I said, heroes won't give up lightly!" Jaden said.

"It's better to say it's pestering," the Supreme King said lightly. "Then activate set card, trap card 'Slime Hole'.

When a monster is successfully Special Summoned, I recover Life Points equal to that monster's ATK, and then that monster is destroyed." (Original card)
