Chapter 494

"Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin's effect activates!"

Judai said.

"By discarding one card from my hand, I can check the opponent's hand and choose one monster card from it. If I have a monster on my field with higher ATK than that monster's ATK, I destroy the chosen monster and inflict 500 points of damage."

"Destroying my hand, huh," the Supreme King said. "It is indeed a monster with a troublesome ability, so I'll deal with it as soon as possible here.

I activate my face-down card, the Quick-Play Spell 'Effect Veiler.' Negate the activation of the monster's effect and destroy that monster."

Brother Dolphin let out a miserable groan, his whole body bound by electric currents, and after a round of electric shock play, he exploded into fragments and dissipated.

"Aqua Dolphin..."

Judai raised his arm to block in front of him, biting his lip lightly.

Brother Dolphin, one of his two big Neo-Spacian brothers, had failed before he could even start and was taken out upon landing.

But it didn't matter; there was still the more reliable Brother Mole.

"Then, battle!" Judai said. "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, attack 'Evil HERO Lightning Golem'!"

The Supreme King clearly hadn't seen Brother Mole's prowess yet and couldn't help but frown: "Attacking with a monster with lower ATK!"

"Leave it to me!"

Grand Mole let out a reassuring, confident sound, then the drill on its head closed, and with a rumble, it burrowed into the ground.

A moment later, the ground at Lightning Golem's feet suddenly cracked, and he stumbled and sank in unexpectedly. Brother Mole charged out, his drill slamming directly into Lightning Golem. Both sides turned into golden light and dark currents respectively, bouncing back into their respective duelists' hands.

"What?" the Supreme King said in a deep voice. "Lightning Golem was actually taken out by such small fry..."

"Neo-Spacian Grand Mole's effect!" Judai said. "At the start of the Damage Step when this card battles an opponent's monster, return that monster and this card to their owners' hands, without performing damage calculation!"

The Supreme King let out a heavy snort and said nothing.

But in his heart, he was already thinking that You Xuan, who he had dueled before, was the same, and now even his own mirror image was like this; sure enough, the neighboring dimension was a treacherous dimension.

"Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird, direct attack!"

The hummingbird flapped its wings and flew up, crossing the entire field rippling with aurora, its sharp beak pecking directly at the Supreme King like a sharp weapon.

"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell 'Damage Gate'." Judai said. "As long as this card is on the field, all battle damage received by both players is halved." (Original card)

"My turn ends."

Judai raised his voice.

"How about it, do you see? My irreplaceable Neo-Spacian partners, this is the power of a hero that is needed by others! It's different from a guy like you!"

The Supreme King pondered.

The power of a hero...

Does it refer to the hand-discarding Dolphin and the monster-bouncing Mole?

That is indeed not to be underestimated.

"My turn, draw."

The Supreme King said.

"I also use the Spell card 'Magical Stone Excavation.' Both players draw three cards from their decks."

The Supreme King drew three cards.

"Then I discard 'Evil HERO Infernal Gainer' from my hand, effect activate." The Supreme King said indifferently. "Add a card that mentions 'Dark Fusion' in its card name, other than Infernal Gainer, or 'Dark Fusion' from my deck to my hand.

I take this card from my deck..."

The Supreme King revealed a card he had searched.

"Spell card 'Dark Calling' added to my hand."

Judai looked at the phantom of Infernal Gainer that flashed across the field and couldn't help but mutter: "Even Golden Captain has been blackened?" "Spell card 'Dark Calling,' activate!"

The Supreme King raised the card in his hand and shouted loudly.

"Banish Fusion Material monsters from my hand or Graveyard, and perform a Fusion Summon of a Fiend-Type HERO!"

Judai held his breath: "Even an evil version of Miracle Fusion exists..."

"Banish 'Evil HERO Infernal Wing' and 'Evil HERO Infernal Gainer' from my Graveyard, perform Dark Fusion!

The Fusion condition is an Evil HERO plus any monster of Level 5 or higher, Fusion Summon!

The ultimate darkness, the symbol of my power—

—Evil HERO Malicious Bane!!!"

A dark hurricane brewed, like the breathing of an abyss, carrying unspeakable fear, making even the aurora of Neos Space seem to lose its color.

It was as if darkness itself had been given life, swirling, intertwining, and transforming into a tornado capable of shaking the entire Neos Space. Countless ink-black particles gathered and condensed crazily in the storm, and under extreme compression and friction, they gradually condensed into sharp silver claws, a powerful long tail, and ferocious, heavy armor, every inch of which seemed to reveal malice and madness from hell.

The ultimate Evil Heart, Evil HERO Malicious Bane, descends!

It was as if darkness itself had descended, and the terrifying storm seemed as if it were about to overturn the entire Neos Space. Judai raised his arm to block in front of him, looking in astonishment at the giant demon king that had descended.

"This Evil Heart, the feeling of this power... what is going on?"

Judai subconsciously pressed his chest.

It seemed it wasn't just because of the god-like powerful waves contained in this Evil Heart.

It was as if, facing this demon king, just looking directly at him made him feel an inexplicable palpitation.

"This monster probably symbolizes a part of the Supreme King's incarnation."

A voice sounded in his ear.

Judai turned his head and saw his Ultraman—Elemental HERO Neos—already floating beside him like a back-spirit, saying.

"So that's it." Judai seemed to understand a little. "That's why this monster gives me such a feeling of palpitation..."

He subconsciously clenched his fists.

"Evil HERO Malicious Bane's effect." The Supreme King said. "Once per turn, destroy all monsters on the opponent's field with ATK less than or equal to this card's ATK!"

"All monsters?" Judai was startled.

The ability to destroy the entire field.

This made him even more certain of Neos's guess. This monster was indeed a part of the Supreme King's incarnation, and this overwhelming power that swept the entire field was exactly in line with the Supreme King's persona; it was the monster that suited him best.

Poor little Hummingbird, of course, couldn't block such overwhelming power, and under that surging dark current, it was immediately submerged, annihilated, and shattered.

"And, Malicious Bane can gain power during this time." The Supreme King said. "For each monster destroyed by this effect, Malicious Bane's ATK increases by 200 points!"

【Evil HERO Malicious Bane, ATK 3000 → ATK 3200】

"This is bad, Judai," Brother Dolphin, who had already left the field, also turned into a back-spirit and said beside him. "In this way, it means the more monsters he destroys, the more powerful he becomes.

And conversely, the upper limit of the ATK of the monsters he can destroy also becomes higher!"

Malicious Bane could sweep away all monsters with lower ATK than itself, and the more it blew up, the higher its ATK would become, forming a positive feedback loop.

"That's right, Malicious Bane is the ultimate Evil Heart, his power has no limits." The Supreme King said. "But you won't be able to see his strongest moment.

Evil HERO Malicious Bane, direct attack!"
